Customers are impressed with the overall performance, size, and design of the 25.5 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Ice Maker. Many appreciate the ample internal space, quiet operation, and effective ice maker. The temperature control and lighting are also well-received. However, some customers have noted that the door seal can be quite tight, making the door difficult to open.

That's a solid appliance that we use commercially. The previous one lasted 3 years and died when the weather hot after 3 years. There is however an annoying bug, the screw of the handle keeps getting loose (we open and close it a lot, dozens of times per day). Both models, the old and the new one have this problem.

Spacious and quiet. Would like to have had a closed butter drawer, and door storage trays are very wide but large capacity. Not sure how fast/much ice it makes but ice is clean and tray is huge.

This is a great refrigerator. We bought this to replace a whirpool that broke down after 9 years. I loke the bottom freezer and the wide upper fridge wich accommodates alot of items.

It’s pretty cool. Definitely in shape because it’s been running since I’ve gotten it. The ice cube tray is a good size so you can grab ice easily and the cubes aren’t actually cubes, but cylinders with holes in the middle, which I prefer. The alarm helps my roommates remember to close the door, so the food stays fresher longer. I really like that this fridge is on Energy Star’s list of fridges that use the least amount of energy compared to other models with similar features, which is why I bought it. The freezer is deep and has a divider on the bottom making it easier to find frozen foods. I’ve had no problems with it for the past month of ownership.

Love it. Quiet, lots of space. Only issue someone may have is the shelves are full length so kit adjustable. I am fine yet others like split shelves. Ditto for door shelves.

Great layout for our food storage needs. It wipes down easily and no fingerprints. We keep a couple bag salads, veggies and fruit in the crisper drawers and they stay fresh for over a week. The main shelves are well positioned for stacking our Pyrex and we usually have 6 or 7 of those large glass dishes in there with plenty of extra space. The freezer section makes nice size ice cubes that don't all freeze together like our last LG. It also has a subtle chime if the door is left open for about 1 minutes. Overall, we love it after a couple months.

This is a good Fridge for my needs. Plenty of easily accessible refrigerator space and a good amount of freezer space below. Also, importantly, it operates fairly quietly, unlike my last unit.

I'm really disappointed in the quality of my LG Fridge & Stove.
The configuration of the fridge interior is NOT OPTIMAL at all ...
SHELVES - First thing that shocked me is the shelves are not even glass, they are plastic! They don't even have a support or bracket down the center, so they bend under the weight of anything remotely heavy such as a casserole dish etc...
I feel it's just a matter of time before they snap or crack.
Also, the 2 main shelves cannot hold anything taller than 10 inches, so if you're a soda drinker, you won't be fitting any 2 litter bottles.
DRAWERS - I can't even use the bottom draw it's so shallow. It barely has a 3 clearance. Maybe good for flat items only, but even then you can't stack them or the drawer won't open.
The other 2 drawers are fine, albeit cramped, but 2 drawers are not enough....
DOOR - Shelves on the door are just as compact, not really allowing for anything too tall. They have dividers, which would be great except they have a lip on the bottom which sucks up about 1 inch of storage space on each side!
Another oddity...at the bottom of door interior, there is this very odd long, but shallow pocket. I'm not quite sure what it's for or what might fit in it. It's about 26" in width, but only 1 3/4 inch in depth.
FREEZER is okay....Ice tray takes up 50% of the top drawer which is excessive. A bin 1/2 the size would have been sufficient, allowing for added storage space for more important items, like meat!
NOISE - when the motor kicks on, which is frequently, it sounds like there's a car running in my kitchen. When I called customer service about it, they wanted to send out a technician to repair it. I thought "Do I want a fridge that already needs a repair within less than 2 weeks of use??".
It's a good looking fridge, can't complain about that. But it only offers right-to-left opening door.... if you need it to open right-to-left, Best Buy will charge you $50 to flip it.
My biggest worry at this point is that the quality of the interior is not going to be able to withstand the test of time. By the feel of the plastic, I'll be lucky if it lasts a year without breakage somewhere :((

I wasn't sure about the bottom freezer at first, but I really like it now. The food in the fridge is at eye level so you can easily get out what you need. The ice maker works great and makes ice quick if you need it for a party or something. I like the beep alarm that goes off if you leave the door open too long. Freezer is roomy and easy to get stuff out. I like that the freezer has a bright light. This fridge seems very well made out of good material. The only thing I don't like is that the on off switch for the ice maker is very awkward to reach. Other than that, its a great product at a decent price.

We LOVE this fridge!!!! We've had it a little over a month now and have had no problems at all. It is much larger than I thought it was and is perfect for my family. You can store so much food and drinks in this. The only problem was that I had a plastic waterline from previous fridge and the men that came to install it said they (best buy installers) will NEVER touch a plastic line. So we have to get a plumber to install new line for us. It's not a huge deal because we don't use ice that often. We just bought a 5lb bag and put in the ice tray included. Make sure to power off the ice maker if you do the same as us.

I love my refrigerator. I really wish Best Buy was able to deliver and install (we scratched it through the door) but I understand (coronavirus). This refrigerator is very spacious and easy to clean. Would definitely recommend.

We bought this refrigerator because it was a really good deal. However, there were several things that made us choose this one. Every time we buy the fridge with the French doors they are always not aligned properly. This fridge also has an energy rating that is way below the others. It doesn't have a water dispenser but we will install a reverse osmosis filter at our sink. You can tell that this fridge has an amazing seal that makes it better at staying cold. Also, because there is no big ice cube maker in the fridge there is much more room for food and drinks. One door makes for less finger prints too. We love it!
