I have had this fridge for about a month. So far, so good. I read lots of reviews, looked at lots of brands. The main complaint about the LG fridges was that they had loud compressors. Mine makes no noise. The ice maker probably does produce too small amount for a family of 4 or more but it can be made ahead and stored in the freezer. Overall, I am liking it and hoping it lasts for a long time. It is very roomy.

Got this fridge thinking its neat, more space, a little different from a side by side, some whistles and bells.... What I got was a head ache, since where fridge location, can't open some of the drawers all the way, and if food I am looking for drops behind something, its a fishing expedition to get to it (but this is a problem since fridge location is pretty close to a wall) Expected to put milk in door, since we drink it often, but not recommended by maker... too bad nobody told us this. Freezer... uhm you better stack it nice, and again hunting for something might take longer then to look at a side by side freezer. Ice maker is ok, so far no demand for mass amount of ice, but summer has yet to arrive. Filter inside easy to change, I see no problems, takes up minimal space and its tucked into liner, so its a nice change from previous fridge, where is was hanging like an oil filter on an engine. Very quiet, hardly noticeable when the compressor kicks in, warning chimes are annoying a bit, but it was handy when kids did not close door properly and just hoped it closed like the old fridge. Looks great, but I still think a side by side would have been a better choice.

This is a good looking refrigerator with ample space and good lighting. The refrigerator is very quiet unlike some previously posted reviews. The only reason it didn't rate a 5 has to do with the water supply to the ice maker. The ice maker does a good job and provides a good supply for our purposes. The issue we had was a plastic odor coming from the ice for the 1st 3 or 4 weeks. We had to dispose of several batches until the odor went away. I would attribute this to the water supply line going to the ice maker. The users manual did say to dispose of a couple of batches at which point the ice would be fine. But it was not so in our case. Had we not had this "breaking in period", this review would be rating it a 5 star.

I love my LG 26.6 refrigerator. It's great, I really like the door n door and all of the space inside the fridge it is so much easier to find things and the glide n server is so nice for the extra space. I also like how easy it is to change the water filter. I also have an LG washer and dryer that I love. When I purchase a home this year I will also purchase LG for the rest of my kitchen. I did a ton of research online and in stores before purchasing my LG refrigerator. I wanted a unit that had a door in door that keeps the main compartment cold when I opened the door in door. Many other makes have the door in door but it opens up to the main compartment so cold air escapes. The only thing is, the door doesn't always close completely. I don't know if it's something that needs to be fixed or if it's just the way it works.

We love it. The door in door is great, the capacities are fantastic, can get large trays/platters inside, pizzas can lay flat in the freezer (unlike side-by-side). We haven't yet hooked it up to a water supply, but I feel confident the icemaker and in-door water will be excellent as well.

We've had this fridge for about 2 months now and so far feel it was a good purchase. The layout works well, it is quiet, and looks great. The only minor issues would be the very small ice maker as mentioned in other reviews, and some of the trays on the doors are a bit too narrow for many common containers one would normally consider putting on the doors.

I've had this fridge for over a month. It has been great! It is really quiet when running, making ice, and when the ice drops into the bin. The ice bin is on the small side but for a small family of 3 it is perfect. The door in door feature is really convenient.

All the usual bells & whistles plus the door-in-a-door option is a nice setup. No issues, no repairs, looks nice, seems high quality.

Have a lot of people living in my house. Large grocery bill. Need lots of space for our groceries. Have that and a lot left over. LG is the best refrigerator I ever owned. May never go back to any other.

This refrigerator is very efficient and quiet. I’m sure my electric bill is lower due to the new refrigerator. Very easy to access anything you store inside. Easy to clean.

Couldn't be happier. Love the door in door. Now have the full LG appliance collection - so far has been excellent choice. Best Buy delivery did a great fast job installing.

The LED lighting is great, I love the icemaker in the door and not taking up space inside the freezer or refrigerator compartment. The freezer works great, so does the ice and water in the door. Very well engineered, The linear motor is very quiet. I makes a nice addition to the kitchen.

Just love the fridge and the layout of the doors, the lighting is great, the ice is just the right size in the water dispenser to cool drinks fast. The quiet soft puff when closing the doors took a little getting used to trust that the doors were really closed but after awhile I could see they sealed tight every time. My favorite fridge of all I've ever owned.

I was surprised by all the space this refrigerator provides. It is quiet and the door in door feature is definitely a huge bonus.

This fridge is a huge upgrade from our last one. There is lots of space! We love the indoor ice maker.

LG's design is simply marvelous! Very easy to keep things organized and very easy to find things! Best Buy's installers were so professional, and VERY fast! I highly recommend purchasing not only this refrigerator, but any appliance form Best Buy
