We ordered this refrigerator bassed on the fact that it was a flat/matte black. We were very excited for that because everything in our kitchen is matte black. However when it arrived it was glossy black. We contacted Best Buy 3 times and lg and no one could help help us with the issue. The refrigerator has been fine so far but the issue with the color option was very disappointing for us. We have 6 grandsons and wanted something that wouldn’t show fingerprints.

We love it alil bigger than our old one but we needed it and it came in quickly and the guys who work at Best Buy had it out and in my truck in no time

We purchased this refriderator in eary March 2023 and liked its performance. However, we will not buy it again due to the fact that the stainless steal doors dent too easily. There is no way the finish on this fridge can withstand a busy household. My wife and I are retired and are not hard on appliances. However, in the 3 months we have owned it, there are 3 dents on the front door(s). The first one was present when we purchased it but it was barely noticeable so we decided to live with it. Two more dents have occured from what I would describe as minor impacts that never would have dented in our previous refridgerator. The positive performance of this refridgerator vanishes when the outward appearance gets damaged so easily with minor contact to the finish.

Great customer service in the store and delivery was when expedited. Everything was perfect.

Got this in June, ice maker stop working in July, whole thing stop working by August. LG came to fix the ice maker at first, refrigerator go crazy the day after, they sent another repair and guy said nothing he could do, contact LG again and three months later, still broken. DO NOT BUY.

I have owned this refrigerator since May 2022. It has been 6 months and in that time both of the lower shelves have shattered. This morning the lowest freezer shelf shattered and now I can’t get the lower bin out to clean up all the little pieces of glass. The glass has jammed the drawer. I am very frustrated and annoyed. I have never experienced this with any of the other refrigerators that I have owned. I must conclude that these shelves are thin and cheaply made so they can’t handle something being dropped on them. Don’t buy this fridge.

We loved it when we got it. Looked nice and felt functional. Bought on 1/17/23 and it's already rusting around the water/ice dispenser. Wiping it down from time to time didn't reduce the rust from getting worst. We noticed it six months after purchase and tried to keep dry by wiping it down more frequently. It didn't help at all. Now it looks like the attached pictures. Considering this is how rusted it is, this thing won't last more than 3yrs before the rust breaks through. I do not recommend

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever owned. The ice compartment is constantly freezing up and malfunctioning. The different ice setting stopped working. I’ve had it 8 months. I have an ice machine and I have to buy ice and store in freezer.

This supposed brand new fridge is defective and useless. It suddenly stopped working completely just 30-40 mins after it was delivered & installed. Can't get anything to turn on. They delivered me a "lemon" fridge. Unacceptable!

This Fridge is well designed and has all the storage capacity that a family of four will need. I like that there are no handles on the exterior of the doors. The handles are built into the door. I am finding it rather easy to get the smudges off of the Stainless Steel as well. The shelves are wide and deep, but are easy to access. The door shelves are very convenient and hold plenty of necessary items. The freezer area is very large and makes things very easy to organize. The water and ice in the door makes it so easy to access whichever you are needing. I was impressed at how quiet the unit is, you can hardly tell that it is running. It also maintains the temperature settings selected and quickly from installation. The design of the water filter area, makes for easy changing of the filter. It appears that it will also match up with the expected power savings on the utility bill. I am very well pleased with this product and how easy the delivery and set up was. Best Buy made the purchasing effortless along with excellent financing through Citi Bank's My Best Buy Total Membership card. There were many additional incentives because of having the Best Buy Total Card. It was well worth the purchase of the Total plan just for the additional product warranty. However, there are many other savings associated with this plan as well. Thanks Best Buy for a drama free purchase.

Our new LG 27.2 cu ft side by side refrigerator with SpacePlus Ice maker keeps everything at the displayed temperature. The SpacePlus Ice maker has a small footprint and does not get in the way of placing items on the freezer shelves; unlike other refrigerators with ice-making capabilities blocking shelf access. We more than miss the larger capacity ice maker of our last fridge. We are only two people and find our needs for ice exceeds the capacity and capability of ice-making with this fridge. During these hot days (here in the Palm Springs desert), we are using two selves for additional ice making & bin storage. This detracts from efficiency; where ice is concerned. Another point of contention that we miss compared to our last fridge is the outside in-door ice/water dispenser with a tiny LED as a means of locating it in the dark, as opposed to a switchable light to throw light in front of the fridge. Upon use of the dispenser, another LED throws light downward at the opening of any cup placed under the dispenser. It certainly is functional, but, leads to a want for an alternative way to light the area (in the dark) near the front of the fridge. Otherwise, the shelf space and water filter placement seems well designed; even if the two refrigerator drawers are placed at the bottom; one on top of the other. We love the gallon-sized shelf space in the refrigerator door, which allows more space for food on the shelves. The fridge may have the ability to be leveled, but, was placed in its spot without the need to level it. If the doors did not align at right angles, it would have had to be leveled. One other item that is noteworthy is the location of the power plug; which is long enough. The plug is located at the top of the fridge and must be draped to the rear and down to the outlet. Although it seems very different than what is expected, it does not hamper our needs since the whole fridge is placed under an overhead shelving unit. If this were not the case, trying to keep anything on top of the fridge (which is a tall reach) would have to contend with the cord; along with the need for moving/removing a step stool - unless you have monkey arms for the task. Even though I would recommend this product, the points I made here may have significant impact on anyone’s decision to purchase this particular refrigerator.

As far as the refrigeration and freezer side of things it is very nice. Maintains temp very well and is very spacious. That being said there are a few quirks that it has. The biggest issue is to say the ice maker is slow is a HUGE understatement. I am talking ungodly slow. It does have a way of speeding it up but all that does is lower the temp so ice freezes faster and it will only stay in that mode for 24 hours The other drawback is the lack of a Deli Drawer. Speaking of drawers. The handles on the drawers are at the very bottom making them VERY awkward to open. If you need to remove the drawer, you must open the door completely for it to not catch on the door. Over all this is a great fridge so far but some of the design flaws are irksome.

Replaced a 20 year old Jenn-Air 22 cubic foot refrigerator with this one. The delivery and install with Best Buy was flawless. Great guys removed the old refrigerator and installed this one in fifteen minutes. The instructions say the ice maker takes 24 hours to start making ice. Almost exactly 24 hours and the ice maker started working. A ton of room in both sides. Lots of storage in the doors as well. Runs so quite you can not hear it at all. The drawers in the frig side have pulls on the bottom, very inconvenient. I am also concerned about the amout of ice it produces. It has been enough for the two of us but do not think it will keep up when we have many guest. Overall very happy with the purchase and a great price as well.
