The 1080p resolution of this set gives an excellent, sharp photo, especially when viewed head-on. The remote, however, is a big source of frustration. The most-used TV watching buttons are clustered at the bottom. They are small and indistinct from each other, and it is VERY easy to punch the buttons for Disney+ or Netflix instead of the up or down arrow. Compared to other smart TVs, the setup is a bit clunky and time consuming. Also the software update refuses to load. Sound is OK; the voice priority mode is very clear. It's the only 27" TV available, and that's what is needed for the spot. So it's a good choice for me.

This TV was bought for use at night in a bedroom. Works beautifully for the purpose that it was bought. Great picture and great colors.

Great value, the sound is sufficient, the picture quality is good and hanging the tv to the wall with wall hanging hardware was easy.

Love the pic and TV overall, the only thing stopping me from going 5 stars is the issue with my network. I am not sure if it is the network or the TV but have to reboot the TV from time to time to get the apps working again. I give it 4.999 stars, the smart part is the issue and not 100% it is not my router.

This is the ideal size for my kitchen counter. This was the only new 1080p tv I could find in 27-28” range. I’m pleased enough with the picture quality. I was concerned with it being an IPS screen which allows for extreme viewing angles but tend to look worse straight on than VA screens. It’s actually quite good, I don’t feel like I’m sacrificing. The sound is ok. Surprisingly full for tv speakers but a tad scratchy or grainy so I’m using a compact soundbar with it. I’m very picky about sound. Build quality is solid. I expect this tv to last. I wish this was a dumb tv. I use antenna mostly and have Roku & Fire sticks connected to the 2 HDMI ports. I wish it another HDMI input so I could use HDMI ARC for my but it works well enough via optic and I’m able to control the soundbar volume with the tv remote although it usually requires a few touches to engage. What is lost frustrating is having to through too many steps to access the over the air tv mode. Everyone I turn on the tv it defaults to LG’s lousy smart screen. LGs built-in smarts suck compared to stand alone streamers. Slow and laggy, not the most user friendly. It’s frustrating to not be able to instantly access my antenna guide. Requires waiting for the tv to boot up, showcase the Home Screen then navigate down and over to the OTA mode. The Home Screen is confusing and won’t allow clicking on some icons/smaller screens that appear to be highlighted such as last channel/input used. Maybe I’m not understanding something yet either way it’s a poor design. It has a strong tuner though, I get like 94 stations(via my rooftop antenna). I’m about 1/2 hour drive from downtown Cleveland Ohio. I also love that the remote has an actual number keypad, a rarity today. Huge plus for antenna users. This tv is only a 60hz refresh rate so it’s motion isn’t always great yet way better than 60hz TVs of the past. Most people won’t notice issues. Color fairly accurate and pops well enough. Clarity decent. Appears to be a matte screen finish and it’s quite bright for its size so it handles reflections very well. Big advantage for me. Overall I’m satisfied with this tv I just wish it was simpler to use for OTA. At its regular price of $200 I would say it’s overpriced especially for those that will not bother with its lousy built-in smarts however I got it on sale and used my rewards discount so I got an incredible deal(less than $60).

Good TV. Great picture and easy to hookup. Plenty of features. Nice and lightweight, made it easy to add to kids bedroom.

Picture and sound quality great! My grandpa loved it. It was easy to navigate for him and easy to figure out as well

We purchased this for use in our kitchen area. The set is lightweight yet sets securely in the provided table top stand. This unit is super easy to set up and operate. The picture quality is excellent and the audio can be easily customized for a variety of environments and preferences. All-in-all a very good value and I would purchase this again.

I was restricted by size needed for bedroom. Picture quality is very good. However the sound can appear at higher levels a little tinny. I keep it at 12 and is fine. A sound bar should be considered if louder needed. Brightness is good for a dark room.

Pretty good for the price. I find the picture to excellent. Unfortunately. I can't understand some reviews reporting excellent sound, I find the sound to be a bit tinny and the volume to be so low that even at its highest level I still must have the Closed Captions turned on to make up for the low volume. The remote control is another weak point. The buttons are so close together that one must look at the controller to find the correct button, and... the lack of a round 'Select" button exacerbates selecting left, right, up, and down selections. Being a Smart TV, I fully expected the remote to be a supported LG Magic Remote, or at least support a Magic Remote. But using the Magic Remote from a large OLED LG TV, no such luck. Still, the HD picture is great, and it works perfectly (except for low audio volume) for streaming while I'm exercising, the reason I bought it.

This LG TV has a great picture quality, was very easy to set up as a smart TV, and was at a great price.

This is a great size for people with a limited space to put the tv in. The TV easily fit in my wall unit. The channel scan went quickly, and I ended up with 146 channels. Connecting to WIFI was easily, and it comes with several Aps. Changing inputs is aided with on screen windows. Also on screen program guide. Has ARC for audio with sound system.

Great value. Easy to install and to set up. Helps me to access channels on LG that are not available on the other contacts. The unit has clear colors and great sound.

This is a great 27" TV. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find TVs that are suitable for small spaces. This LG fit's well in my kitchen and allows streaming through Xfinity and MLB. What I'm very disappointed in it Best Buy's "Open box - excellent" category. My purchase was supposed to be in like-new condition with no visible signs of wear or use and include all original parts, accessories, and packaging. The item that was delivered included a screen and 2 legs; no remote, no power cord, no manual, etc. When I contacted Best Buy customer support for a replacement, I was informed that I would need to ship my item back, Best Buy would inspect it and after that, I would be shipped a replacement. Estimated as a 2-week process. Nope, I returned this and ordered one elsewhere and had it in 2 days.

PROS: Matte screen. No reflection. Great picture. Good TV size for my kitchen counter. Has 1080p, and upgrades well with HD cable. CONS: Audio is fair, at best. In fact, there are times when I can't stand listening to certain programs. Has a "tin-like" and scratchy echo to it. Certain stations are better than others. Bose sound bar doesn't make it sound much better. I've tried all of the audio options available and can't hear anything great out of any of them. It's tolerable, at best. The remote is unimpressive. Luckily, I don't use it. I programmed my cable remote to the TV. I'm keeping it, but would recommend with reservations for the poor audio.

I use this TV for my kitchen. Perfect size. Edge to edge screen. Many functions ;not a low end TV.

I am so very excited about my new LG TV. I feel like I am at the movie theatre. The pictures are so bright and colorful. I have never had an experience like this before. I will always buy the LG Smart TV in the future. Thank you Best Buy for this excellent experience.

I bought the tv for my mother, she really liked the clear voice option on the tv because she had a hard time hearing voices on her old tv. Plus the picture is sharper too.
