For my home office, I needed a new monitor for my desktop computer. I didn’t want to spend too much on one either. I looked at a few at Best Buy and decided on the LG U41YA-B. The LG was a 27” monitor with 4k and HDR10 as a bonus on an affordable display. The screen provides a very appealing picture when working on documents and surfing the web. As far as watching videos, the picture can be a bit dark even after adjusting the brightness. The response is good for this price point but not fast paced gaming. Basic gaming is fine and looks good enough. Setting up the monitor is very straightforward. A bracket comes down from the bottom-center of the monitor and attaches to a pedestal base. The stand doesn’t take up much room and is sturdy enough to hold the monitor securely. The monitor itself is made of plastic and is very lightweight. This is a minimalist monitor when it comes to inputs. There is one HDMI input, an RGB input and a headphones jack and that’s it. To power the LG on and change the settings, there is a small joystick type of button at the bottom center of the monitor. It is a bit finicky to use. All in all the LG is a good basic 4k monitor for general home office use and that is exactly how I am using it. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a home office monitor for a reasonable price.

Great monitor for a great price! Needed a monitor to connect to my laptop for design work and this monitor is great, does everything I need and has great resolution.

Bought two of these to create a dual monitor working space at home. They work amazing and I love the size to work on spreadsheets

I'm pleasantly surprised with quality of this monitor. I've never had an LG screen of any sort, but it was brought to my attention by the best buy employee who was helping me with my screen shopping. It was on sale which was even better. But the resolution is beautiful, high refresh rate, and I love the thin border around the screen.

I bought this as a work-from-home aid and it’s been very good. Nice picture, good resolution and the speakers are a nice benefit.

Great monitor. Looks good and works well. The size is perfect for having multiple windows open at the same time. I like being able to connect my laptop to do work.

Got two of these at 100 dollars. Not mind blowing but solid for the price. I use them as side monitors and they do the job fine. Like how the stand is flat so not to obtrusive in terms of desk space. Only warning would be in a bright room might be a bit washed out, I use them in a dim/dark room

HDR10 enhances contrast and color in supported content, though it doesn't reach the brightness of higher-end HDR displays. The monitor's minimalist design feels solid and it was quick to set up right out of the box. Overall, it offers excellent value for everyday work and casual gaming.

The monitor works great, especially for the price. The only thing that's a bit weird but not necessarily bad is that it doesn't have an off button. It puts itself to sleep after it beeps for about 10-15 seconds.

Perfect size for my desk area. Clear picture. Slim bezel gives my office a sleek look.

Love this monitor!!! I have to have 3 monitors for my employment. Hate to say i jave 3 different monitors and this one has the best color, size proportions and lightness. Definitely want to buy 2 more to have all the same monitors.

Perfect monitor. I don't like the base (too small if you have cats) but I put it on a different desk mount and am very pleased.

The display is pretty decent as advertised, although would have liked it to be a bit brighter. Setup was a breeze with clear instructions provided. No complaints really for what was expected vs the specifications. Side note, I would recommend going for 1440p display resolution for a 27inch monitor even for basic productivity tasks. 1080p feels a bit lacklustre.

Amazing monitor with great graphics. It is easy to install and looks amazing with fast-paced games. The refresh rate is amazing, and it keeps up perfectly with my PC. This is an amazing monitor, especially for the price.
