It helps being able to just open the washer and dryer and do what needs to be done. We don’t have a laundry room as our home when built did not come with one. So for us this was reallly important.

The installation was also done very well and the men who installed were very careful removing the old and installing the new washer/dryers. They also gave us very good suggestions about how to set them up and how they installed them. Great Experience.

Eithere with or without the insert, it is not possible to put in anything over 20 inches tall. So most laundry products do not fit. It would be really useful if it was a bit taller, since I suspect that most people would like to store their laundry detergent there (where it is close to point of use)

Would rather have divider instead of basket. Not sure what good that is. Pedestals are needed for front load washers or else too low. Expensive, but worth it versus bending down too much.

They put the washer and dryer at a much better height for ease of use with my back issues. I'm using the laundry baskets way more than i had anticipated.

The price was more than we wanted to pay, but the wife felt it was a luxury we could afford.

Having a front loading washer on the floor is not friendly to the back and knees. When buying a new front loading washer spend the extra money from the get go on the pedestal.
