What can really be said about a dryer pedestal? Yes, it does what it's supposed to (hold up dryer to a more convenient height), but that's about it. There's a slide out drawer with a divider that currently holds the owner's manual and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The crux of the matter is this: If you don't want your dryer sitting on the floor, you can either build something yourself or (over)pay >$250 for this glorified metal box. If you don't have time to build something, you'll just have to get comfortable with getting gouged. Thanks LG!

The only laundry products that I have that actually fit in the pedestal are some boxes of Bounce and a spray bottle of oxy. Everything else needs to be laid on it's side to make it fit (powder & liquid detergents). I buy my laundry products at Costco or Sam's club so they aren't the smallest containers available. But they should fit upright just in case I forget to screw the vent cap down on the liquid detergent bottle before I lay it down in the storage drawer. The most frustrating part about the situation is that if the drawer was a half inch deeper, the products would fit upright. The drawer operates smoothly and the entire unit seems very sturdy. I'm sure it will hold up to use for the 20 years that I expect to get out of the dryer. It's obvious that the manufacturing quality of the unit is superior. The drawer is manufactured using sturdy materials that were certainly designed to last and as I mentioned, I have no concerns about my dryer falling off or crushing the pedestal. The mounting blocks provide a very secure connection between the dryer and the pedestal. I only gave the pedestal 2 stars because the drawer is almost useless for me.

The order and delivery process was fine, but the pedestal ordered , based on on my product number, doesn’t quite fit. The front feet fit fine, but the rear are about a 1/2 inch outside of the indentation where they would otherwise go. Rather than go through the return process, I plan to remove the rear pedestal frames and purchase generic rubber coasters, drill a screw hole, and use a self threading screw to stabilize it.

Order online and pick up pedestal at Folsom Best Buy. Box look normal but there was a slight dent on the front of the pedestal. I should have check it at the store but its a hassle. It will be more of a inconvenience to return and get a new one.. Other than that, pedestal is a must .

Although the pedestals fit my washer and dryer and look OK I'm rating this two stars because they do do hold a standard 92 oz jug of Tide detergent or a standard size bottle of Downy fabric softener or a half gallon of bleach. The drawers are 1-2 inches too short to accommodate the bottles standing up. I have to lay bottles down on their sides to make them fit. The manufacturers should have done better research to determine the proper size of their pedestals for the US market considering the size of the product containers that would go in them I did not have an issue with pedestal size on my last Kenmore washer/dryer purchase.

LG Laundry Pedestals do a good job of raising my washer/dryer set to a more ergonomic height that provides greater ease of use. Great color match and I like the darker grey inside material that is easy to wipe out. One big disappointment thought is that the pedestals are not tall enough for a standard size container of laundry soap. Very disappointed with this one negative as that is where I've stored all laundry soap with my previous Kenmore set.

I will be happy to objectively review it once it's delivered, unboxed and set in place. Two of these were purchased with a matching LG washer gas dryer appliance combo on the purchase date shown. Unfortunately, the delivery has not occurred. Today is 19 JAN 2020. I have owned this for 24 days if paying for it is owning it. The reason that sight unseen I would not recommend it to a friend is that in my opinion, it is (X2) a fairly expensive and unnecessary laundry room accessory. Obviously my wife disagrees and she won.

I'm actually quite surprised this product is rated so highly. This pedestal is definitely necessary, makes it a lot easier on your back, and makes the set look nice. It's ridiculous though because of the cost. $280 for this is really, really excessive. The pedestal washer (which we also got) is $450. When comparing the two, it doesn't make any sense as to how an empty metal box is that expensive (yes, it has a drawer, but still).

The primary purpose of the stand is to raise the front loading washing machine off the floor so that you do not need to stoop to load/unload clothes from it. It does this well. However, the other reason you purchase it is for storage. The irony is that the maximum storage height inside the slide out drawer is 10.5 inches. All standard bottle wash detergents (e.g. Tide bottles) are 11.5 inches. Thus, you cannot store any of these items standing up (the only way you would want to) in the drawer. This really limits its usefulness. All LG needed to do was raise the overall height of the stand by 1 inch and it would have been totally functional and really usable. So, basically you pay around $150 for a stand so you do not have to bend over as much when loading your clothes. Not a very good design.

Yes the pedestal raises the height of the washer and dryer. That is great. However, they are too short to fit regular size detergent and fabric softener bottles. I’m not trying to store grant bottles, only standard 92oz detergent and 77oz fabric softener bottles. It is ridiculous.

Not excited about the Pedestal's for the washer/ dryer. I like the width but the depth was not sufficient for liquids and you can only put 18lbs in each and I guess you can use it for paper goods. Anybody have any ideas? I recommend because you need them.

It's just a pedestal, but it's a really expensive one. I guess they need to make sure it's strong enough to support the weight of the washer & dryer, but, wow, is this thing expensive for something that has little function.

It's a good pedestal and it would be great, except that it came damaged with a huge dent in the front. The service tech installed it anyway and said that another one would be ordered, delivered and set up for me.

The product is good, but i had nothing but problems with bestbuy installers. First they brought the wrong size and the second time they brought the rightone and dropped it off on the floor and said, we cannot install this, and walkedaway, they asked me to go n complain to best buy, so someone else would come n install it under the washing mechine, which i ordered both at the same time. So i gave up on best buy and hired my own handyman to install it, cost me extra $150. Please get it right with the installers and untill now, no one ever followed up even after complaining.

This would have been a perfect item. Unfortunately, after it was installed under the washer, we noticed a HUGE crack along the back inside drawer. We went to Best Buy and spoke to Mike, the manager. He apologized and said he would order us a new one. That was a month ago. We are still waiting.

While these look nice and are made well, they do not accommodate many detergent bottles and other laundry products. I can't put a standard bottle of stain remover, oxygen detergent or a small bleach bottle in these because they do not fit standing up. I have to either lay them flat or find somewhere else to store them. When reviewing the height of pedestals for other brands like maytag and Samsung, these seem to be the shorter ones.

I don't know since I have not been delivered and I don't know why it's so expensive

Pedestals worked out fine. However one of them was missing a drawer divder. I called Best Buy and explained that I was missing a drawer divider and they hung the phone up on me. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Honestly, I only purchased this because it was on sale and so that our W&D would be even height (we also purchased the sidekick washer as it was also on sale}. It would be nice if it would fit our laundry detergent bottels in there but it's too small for the larger bottles.

Seems to work well enough, BUT, they should warn you that the height will not accommodate standard height of a full size bottle of Chlorox. What were they thinking? ;-(
