So I decided it was time to get a new TV for my small living room but the TV stand could only accommodate a 28" so my choices were limited. I did a Google search and found this 28" tv but unfortunately it was discontinued and can't be found anywhere in new condition. However, I was able to locate an open box of this TV in "fair condition" (missing remote control, manual and hardware) at a local Best Buy and to my surprise it was in very good condition! It just needed a little cleaning which wasn't a problem...even the feet were securely attached so less work for me! The problem was the missing remote control which is required to setup the tv before you can even pair it with your cable company's remote control! Arghh! So I went back to Best Buy and spoke with a Supervisor who was kind enough to give me a universal remote for free! I was then able to finish setting up the tv and then pairing it with my xfinity XR15 voice remote control! Other than the missing items, its still a good deal for $112! Just make sure you check the box for any missing items and ask for a free universal remote control from a Supervisor while at the store which is needed to setup the tv! I also recommend that Best Buy keep all remote controls for all the tvs they have on display in case customers need them later!

My mom had an old tube TV that I wanted to replace. It weighed over 100 lbs and this one is about the same size that fit on her end table used to house it. I thought it might have not been large enough for her to see well enough, but she told me it is perfect. This was an open box item so it even cost me less, and I'm the type looking for the best deal for the best product for my need. Picture is clear. It was an easy set up, even though I had to go get a connector cable not included.

We had to replace a smaller TV in our upstairs family room and this TV was the perfect option. It was by far the best price we found for the size of TV we were looking for. The picture is great and the TV works great -- and even better than our old TV -- with our HD antenna so we are able to pick up several new channels that are crystal clear.

Ordered this tv online, during the pandemic. Picked it up curbside and that was coordinated and well done. I set the tv up and knowing just enough tech do be dangerous, it was easily done. We are enjoying owning it and picture is clear and awesome, the size is perfect for use in the kitchen. Best Buy did it right.

Very pleased with our 2- 28" LG TV's we purchased at Best Buy! We needed something small and there were few options. We were helped by a young man who gave us our options, helped get us two boxes and brought them up for us to check out. The TV's have a good picture, sound and fit perfectly in our house!

Needed a small TV for the bedroom. This was Consumer Reports best small TV. Easy to set up and very good picture. Didn't need a Smart TV because both Xfinity and my Samsung Blu Ray have apps with both video and music streaming services.

My wife and I were undecided on what size to buy I wanted a32' and she wanted a 24" So we decided to split the difference and got the LG 28". We are very pleased with our purchase and with BestBuy's price. LG is top quality and very easy to set up. We like this TV so much we are now considering getting a second one.

The TV is fine. The picture and sound are good for my office space. It was way harder to put on the legs than it should have been. Bad design but I finally got it done. My only frustration is that I asked at the time of purchase if I needed to buy any cables to set it up. The sales person said no but he was wrong. I had to go back to the store to get a HDMI cable. I spent several hours trying to make the red, white and yellow plugs work. Once I got the HDMI plug it was good. Buy the inexpensive plug. You don't need the most expensive one. By the way if you don't like the really annoying voice you can silence her by going to audio guidance. Otherwise I am very happy so far.

Needed to find a small TV for my moms old TV stand. TVs today are either 24” or 32”. 24” was too small and 32” was just too wide for the old TV stand. When I found this 28” TV by LG, I immediately bought it. It not only is the perfect size, but the color and clarity of this little TV is amazing! I’m buying myself an LG TV, just a much bigger one.

If you are looking of a cheap and basic tv for a good price this is it. Picture and audio are pretty good for the price range. The size is perfect. This is nothing like the 4k smart tvs. I do wish it had an option for bluetooth so that I could connect my speakers in for a better sound quality. Other that that is a good tv.

Had a small space and wanted to get the largest screen possible that would fit. This one was perfect and offered a bigger screen with a lower actual width than any other I found. Picture is great, everything works as advertised and it’s a great value for the price.

Love the TV for the price but it but the boy has one hdmi slot. I had purchased it for the size n fir the 2 hdmi slots. Annoyed. The smart 28 inch model has the 2 hdmi slots. The sound is great. Easy set up. Just annoying want I have to watch my netflick n have to move the tv n remove TV from the only hdmi slot. Then plug in my netflick stick.

This TV is a gear value for little money. Picture quality is superb. It is one of my best purchases ever! I am thinking of buying another TV of the same brand for another room! I appreciate the selection of similar products carried by Best Buy. It definitely is my favorite store to buy any electrical product!

I use this TV on our deck. Have it hooked up to an over-the-air antenna and get about 45 stations fro the Portland, OR area. Speaker are below the picture facing front. Picture and sound are good considering the size of the TV.

LG tv is perfect size for my dresser. Color bright no need to make any adjustments. Picture clear on all channels. Light enough for me to handle even though i am a handicapped senior citizen. Would be even happier if there was no VOICE telling me every time i changed the channel, volume, or turned it on and off.

I bought this tv for my mom and she loves it. My mom is in her 70s and she didn’t want anything too complicated, so I bought her this LG TV and she is really enjoying it. It was easy to set up and the picture quality is good. She lives in a small place so volume is not an issue. Good TV for the money.
