Easy set up on water filter, very quiet compressor, led lighting thru out is very bright, easy to understand electronic controls. Excellent cold freezer.

I love all of the compartments for storage and the fact that I can give each kid a drawer for their snacks!

This refrigerator looks great, is quiet and has great capacity. However, ours has broken twice in the first 8 months. First time it took a couple of days to get an LG technician out; was a problem with freezing around the fan. LG technician fixed this and altered the way that condensation would be handled. Broke again five days ago. Still waiting on LG to find someone to fix it. We have lost a lot of food secondary to this occurring - both times was a "no cooling" situation. This is a big deal when this happens to your family's only refrigerator. Would never buy LG again.

This is the closest model LG still offers to the one we bought 2 1/2 years ago. Ice maker went out 6 months after we bought it, then evaporator fan just went out. I would have considered fixing but there is also a recall on other (smaller) versions of the model where component is overheating and catching houses on fire. Plus cost of repairs were approaching 1/4 to 1/3 of new. Went with Whirlpool for replacement and went with the extended coverage (best buy has gotten the hint and reduced the price on these to where they really make sense now. They are about what it will cost for the repair of the ice maker when they go out as they all do now). Best advice I found about LGs and Samsungs was from a long time refrigerator repair tech. Don't buy your major appliances from people that built thier businesses on cell phones.

I had been eyeing this fridge since it came on the sales floor. When we closed on our house I knew that this was the fridge I wanted. It is very large and we can fit 2 gallons of milk in the door and then some. The shelves adjust easily and are very strong, I can load them up with drinks and don't feel like they will break. It is very quiet and I can only tell its running when my house is completely silent. The ice production is decent for day to day use, but if you dump the bin for a cooler it takes a while to fill back up. Also, sometimes it fills up so much that its hard to pull the bin out. The freezer is a lot larger than it appears. The bottom is big enough to stack half gallons of Blue Bell ice cream 2 deep. The middle freezer drawer holds frozen food boxes nearly 4" deep. We don't use the top drawer much, I wish it would pull out all the way when you open the freezer. One of my favorite things is the water dispenser not being tucked in like other fridges, I can fill up large glasses with water all the way to the top without spilling a drop. My only real regret is not getting the four door(middle drawer) version of this fridge as I think that would have been more convenient than opening both doors to pull out the deli drawer. Its not terrible since we have three crisper drawers, but when we want to use the deli drawer its not convenient.

It would be perfect except for the water dispenser. Because of the protruding design, water splashes when filling glasses causing constant spots on the stainless door. Other than this minor flaw, I love it! It's roomy, has great lighting and functions wonderfully. The freezer is also well designed. The drawer pulls out far enough to allow easy access, and the 3 compartments give great organization.

We really regret buying this. The so called heart of the refrigerator compressor went off within 10 months of our purchase and Lg replaced with free of cost(labor and part). Again it went off in another 1 1/2 years. We paid $375 for labor and got fixed by Lg. We don't know what will happen next. The two times we waited More than a week for the refrigerator to get fixed(1st time it took 10 days).. so it caused lots of food wastage and frequent visits to grocery stores.. the LG customer service people are good and the technicians but not the executive team members. One of our friends have to pay for labor twice in 6 months because of the compressor problem. So please don't go for this.. otherwise get extended warranty

This is by far the most overpriced poorly designed refrigerator I have owned. The ice maker makes crumbs not ice, that melt within couple minutes in a drink and the refrigerator builds up frost due to a design flaw of the draining line for the self defrosting system. I have owned the refrigerator for a year and a month, however it was installed a couple months after the purchase due to construction finishing at the new house. The seller warranty has expired and Pacific sales will not send out technician to perform maintenance repair. I have contacted LG and they have the worst customer support. I was on hold in several occasions for hours and was told by manager Willie Sandifer that regardless that this is a design flaw i should pay for the repair. After i said that i will contact BBB and inform of the issue he has agreed to schedule a complimentary repair. He asked for the proof of purchase and I have provided copies of the delivery receipt with had address, seller details make/model and serial number of the unit. I was told that the delivery paperwork is not sufficient that they need the receipt showing the price i paid. I sent the invoice from pacific sales showing all apple items that i have purchased and I was told that it does not show the seller name and is not acceptable and I should pay for the repair. Remember this is a design flaw; numerous owners have reported the issue and in order for LG to send someone out they are asking for a receipt in a format that is not provided by seller. I have granted the LG manager permission to get details directly from the seller and was told that they cannot do that.I sent copies of all the purchase documents and after numerous calls over the length of a week I still have to pay myself for a manufacturer design flaw for an overpriced item.

I originally purchased this refrig and was so excited to design my kitchen with ALL LG Stainless appliances, It wasn't long they had to replace this refrig and now the new one is having problems and wasn't cooling at all and Pacific Sales extended warranty finally returned my call 3 weeks after the initial report and NEVER sent anyone out to fix it! There was no problem with Geek Squad coverage, but be wary of extended warranties through Pacific Sales!

Garbage. Died over and over again. I went thru I think 6 compressors in like 2 years. Everytime promised it was good to go.

I purchased this refrigerator less than a year ago, so it is sill under warrantee. I have had several problems with the ice machine, frost build up and shut down. I live in the Freeland area of Maryland, less than 20 miles from Timonium. What every one should know about LG is that only certain dealers can do warrantee work. LG has been "looking" for an authorized dealer than can service this unit for about 10 days as of 08/03/16 and the only answer I can get from the cooperate office is that they will get someone out asap. I'm sure they are aware that the 12 month warrantee will be up in a couple of weeks and then their problem will be solved and passed on to someone else. My advise to Best Buy is to stop selling the product until they can do warrantee work.

This refrigerator is great for our family. Our daughter can get her snacks out of the bottom drawer by herself, there is tons of space for vegetables, fruit, meat, and dairy to put in the drawer. The shelves hold more food than we buy. The retractable shelf is great for keeping tall items cold.
