I bought this monitor 2 years ago because I like how it looks . I have to say that it is the best monitor I ever had . It is not fair to give this monitor 1 , 2 or 3 stars because this monitor deserve at least 4 ( minimum ) . Do not listen what people say in the bad reviews ( 1 , 2 or 3 stars ) they are just haters .

    Solid product, looks great

Picture quality is everything I expected. Bright and crisp. As a computer programmer, enjoy the wide view for side-by-side file editing/previewing. My home desk was too small for multiple monitor arrangement. My son the gamer was impressed with the sharp high-res wide view in action games.

Pretty but not big enough for me

I was trying to see if I can replace my dual monitors with this one large monitor but it didn't work for me. It was smaller of course but the thing was was a deal breaker for me was that I had to constantly keep resizing the screen to act as if I had dual monitors. Nice product just didn't function for what I needed.

    Great monitor for the price

I use this monitor as my primary gaming monitor. It can overclock it's refresh rate to around 75 Hz. The colors and viewing angles are great. The bezels aren't as small as the image tends to show but it's still a great monitor with fairly small bezels.

Gave 4 stars bc I can't figure out why the monitor in extended mode will now allow emails to be dragged and dropped into folders in MS Outlook, but will allow if the window is moved to the screen on the attached laptop.

    TERRIBLE BACKLIGHT BLEED

I had never used an ultrawide before and I loved the ratio. I got this at a steep discount but I'm returning it because of the severe backlight bleed. I've read that the 29UM58 has quality control issues and people recommend the 29UM68 instead. All I know is that this monitor isn't usable because of the spotlights beaming out of the corners. In short, love 21:9, hate backlight bleed.

This monitor is great. Great response time and 2 HDMI inputs. Split screen version is very helpful.

It's okay but not as described, not 75 hz

I bought this monitor and it looks fine but for those of you expecting it to be a 75hz monitor, it isn't. It was locked at 60hz and when I tried to change it to 75, some static appears, making me change it back to 60.

    Not easy for mac user

After to referring to several forums in an attempt to get 21:9 (at 1080p) working on my MBP retina (early 2013) and trying out a program called SwitchResX and giving a reboot, it appears I miiight be able to get the correct resolution using a minidisplay-to-display, but this monitor isn't equipped (and I've been using HDMI-to-HDMI) with that. :( Would have been great, I assume.

    Not great with Mac Mini

Great product, but it does not support my Mac mini. I did some research and it looks like previous consumers found this to be a similar problem. The reselution for this monitor will not support the Mac mini. Going to return it and purchase something else.
