Best computer monitor I have purchased would recommend

A great compromise for two HD monitors. I think having a single monitor is more productive than having two. I also have an UHD monitor which is great, but I am all the time adjusting the resolution to fit what I want on the screen and my virtual desktop isn't very compatible with the high resolution. The 29" wide screen gives me what I need for working in virtual desk top. Bought open box and I am not disappointed.

I have a small desk that I have had for years. I wanted to get dual monitors but my desk would be otherwise useless if I did. This is a perfect alternative. I can work as if I am on dial monitors any time. One monitor, one video card. This ends up being more affordable in the end. It took me a while to get used to the width and not having the ability to angle it around your point of view like dual monitors but got used to it quickly. Glad I bought it!

My setup is 3 monitors. This is a great second monitor to view supporting documents and other open windows pertinent to the project I am working on. That it can hold two windows side by side is wonderful. I tried to use as my main monitor but the view length is too short. I would recommend this monitor to anyone with multi monitors.

I use this for my charts. Resolution is crisp. I can put several charts up at once and read easily.

Works far better than Samsung. But lacks vga input.

It's a great looking monitor, both physically and display-wise. The unusual aspect ratio and resolution may give you some trouble with certain programs - especially games - however. If you know what you're doing going in, you shouldn't have problems, but if you have any doubts, stick with a regular 1080p monitor.

With this monitor I no longer need to clutter my desk with 2 monitors. Looks and works great.

Space saver - two monitors take up a lot of desk space. This one allows the same features as two, but all in one long monitor. Easy to set up and easy to use. I am now very used to it and it is hard to go back to one regular one.

For those needing more real estate on your desktop, without wanting two monitors, this is a great way to increase it. Be sure your video card or laptop can handle the 2560 x 1080 resolution. If you can find it on sale, it is a great value.

Pros -Great viewing angles -No noticeable lag -Great for multi-tasking Cons - First Monitor had a few dead pixels I use this monitor for work and gaming. Having two windows open is great on this monitor.

This is a fantastic monitor. I used to use 2 monitors side by side to do graphics & layout work. With this monitor there is no split & only one monitor to calibrate. Multiple split-screen options are really great.

It's a great monitor but weak in the sound area, if you plan to use external speakers you will be pleased with the performance

I used to use 3x 1080p monitors. They just took up so much room so this is a good in between. This is a very good monitor. My graphics card, a NVIDIA Gefore 750ti recognized the resolution right away with no issues. The bundled drivers and software are alright. They software works as it should. My issues is if you are trying to use 4 windows on the monitor I feel that they are too small. Side by side on the other hand is wonderful. Two windows side by side just using the Windows Snap feature works great (Snap is where you drag the window to the side of the monitor and it takes up half the screen) The speakers are nothing to write home about but I use them to basically save space. One thing worth noting is that the pictures on the web make it look like the screen goes to the very edge. That is not the case. There is actually about a half inch black bezel all the way around the monitor. Still very good looking in my opinion.

After using this product for a year, I noticed a burning smell, as I was working I soon noticed smoke was coming out of the vents under the monitor. I quickly turned off the monitor hoping that I could use an air can and clean out whatever could be in there. After a few hours I plugged the monitor back in and still had the same result. Very unfortunate as I really did like the monitor and it make work that much easier.

This is a great monitor for multi-taskers. I do a fair amount of research and this monitor allows for multiple windows to be open at a time especially in tandem with my macbook.

I highly recommend. This monitor is a great value.

The monitor works very well with windows 8. If you are using a mac mini you will need to purchase an adapter to get the optimal resolution.

Doesn't work; sound goes in and out; requires constant adjusting; am considering not using Best Buy again
