Customers find value in the 29" IPS LED HD 21:9 UltraWide Monitor's large screen size and impressive clarity, frequently praising its performance for multitasking and gaming. While the lack of built-in speakers and limited HDMI ports are common criticisms, many appreciate the monitor's resolution and ease of use. Overall, the positive feedback on picture quality and performance outweighs concerns about the absence of certain features.

Great Picture, No Glare, and MULTIPLE WINDOWS!

I was in the market for a new monitor, and stopped by my favorite Best Buy store in Snellville, GA. I have a Dell computer, and was looking at their monitors. But, they have too much glare in the background, and that won't work with a window behind me in the office. I was looking at the LG, and noticed the picture was just as bright and colorful as the Dell. Then I made the "mistake" of looking just a little farther. This LG monitor is AWESOME! For $50 more, I have a superwide screen, an incredible HD picture (tested on some music videos), and I can have up to four windows open at the same time. All four is a little tight, but just having two is great. When working with graphics, it's so much easier to just look left and right than it is to swap windows. The refresh rate is phenomenal, as I ran two videos at the same time (Working a Go Pro video on Elements while using a You Tube video as a tutor in editing). Get one, you won't be disappointed!!!

I bought one of these for myself because i often do a lot of copying items from one page to another and didn't want to have two monitors on my desk. I raved about how good it was for so long that my business partner went out and bought 2 of them for his PC. The color is great, the motion is very good for games, the only thing I could even begin to complain about is the lack of video content in this format (21x9) which is no fault of the monitor.

Purchased this monitor to replace a Samsung 27" monitor I have. While the vertical resolution was the same, it was the horizontal resolution that was really nice to have. The display is very vibrant and crisp and as a test I played a widescreen movie that was able to take full advantage of the width. Not disappointed with the technical aspects of the monitor! One of the features that stood out for me was the ability to have multiple devices attached to the monitor and have it display them at the same time. After purchasing the monitor and hooking it up I sought to try out the feature by hooking my computer up as well as my PS3. After failed attempts to get it to recognize both devices, I researched a little more and discovered that in order to use this feature, LG software needs to be installed on each device hooked to the monitor. Unfortunately, this isn't viable with a PS3; so a major selling point for me doesn't work. I ended up returning the monitor since it didn't do what I would have wanted. Shame, since it really was a great monitor otherwise.

With 2 HDMI port you are able to hook two computers into it and switch inputs. For work, looking at spreadsheets, email and word documents this screen increases my productivity 2 fold. In addition I plug my gaming laptop in and my racing, shooters and RPGs come open up to reveal more environment and immerse you into the game. The screen does not have speakers so you will need external ones for sound.

Super basic ultra wide monitor. It only has HDMI inputs. Strangely (maybe not so strange), there's a headphone jack on the back of the monitor for audio that comes through the HDMI. The volume control underneath the actual screen adjusts that volume. People thought that there were speakers installed in this monitor (which it does not have), and that the volume was not working at all. It's basic, it was a pain to color calibrate, stand is a bit wobbly but it suffices.

My 21 year old son wanted a monitor for the computer he built. I surprised him with a better one that he wanted. He loves the extra wide screen for gaming and multiple windows on the net. He said the clarity was great and absolutely loves it!

Great looking Ultrawide Monitor. Because of the native resolution (2560x1080) some movie or gaming content may not be suitable. However, this monitor is great for multitasking if you need multiple windows in view. My only complaints is the lack of various inputs (HMDI Only) and the placement of the inputs and power supply. The placement of these inputs makes it difficult for flush wall mounting the monitor.

Needed a new monitor, this one was in my price range. It has a wide screen, and runs cool. Excellent performance, and resolution. I'm very happy with the purchase. It's also very easy to assemble, and setup.

Got this when I upgraded my PC so I could have two things open at one time with out the need of two monitors. So far it has worked great for what I got it for. Also if your using a graphics editing program it gives you more visual area to work with.

Good resolution, ultra wide saves getting two monitors, and by using the LG software for the monitor you can make the monitor split and act like it is multiple monitors through the software. You can also simply size and move windows around as you like, whichever better fits your preferences.

LG has a history of reliable products so I was happy to see such a large screen monitor at such a great price. I bought the same monitor 6 months ago and have really enjoyed the performance and the extra screen space that allows multiple items to be opened at once.

The picture is great and I like the dragging option from one screen to the next, I use this with my lap top as my second screen. However, a little disappointed that there are not any built in speakers. When in conjunction with my laptop, I don't get any sound, not even from my laptop which I don't understand why???

Great for side-by-side window usage. Takes a bit of effort to make sure your computer resolution and screen resolution are compatible but once you get the right combo, it's a good monitor. The only complaint is that there are no speakers, which I should have investigated on my own, but regardless, when you plug in the monitor your computer will send audio to the monitor so you have to find the audio settings and disable this so that you can still hear the audio from your computer. Not a big deal except every time I unplug the monitor (I do this frequently b/c I work from a laptop) then I need to change the settings again when I plug it back in. I usually realize that I haven't adjusted these settings when I sign in to a webex and everybody is talking to me for a solid minute or two while I search for the audio settings and reset the default audio output. Really, this is more of a computer problem than a monitor problem, but I'm surprised that there isn't at least a cheapo set of speakers built in to the monitor for this reason alone.

Monitor is great, very sharp color. The widescreen is great for programming. The LG software does not work when you have more than 1 monitor. I have an Acer monitor on each side of the LG Ultrawide and the split screen program doesn't even give the option to split windows into quadrants.

The monitor's split screen software integrates well and is easy to use. I can't see a difference between the different monitor modes (gaming, etc.) but I haven't discovered a situation where the monitor could not perform well.

My setup consists of a 13.5 in laptop with a docking station; so I absolutely needed a monitor. It had been a while since I purchased a monitor after working on a 17in laptop for so many years. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a 4K monitor since I wasn't going to be doing any movie watching or gaming, so I ran across this monitor at a lovely price point. The bezel-less design of the screen is dope, and gives the screen a really clean look! I had never worked on a screen this wide before, and it's absolutely wonderful! There is included softward that segments the screen for you, so now when I connnect to my work network I have more than enough screen to work with multiple programs simultaneously. The high glossy finish is nice to look at as well. Oh, and this monitor can be used for movies or gaming too. IMHO, you can't go wrong with this monito.
