I got this washer during the Columbus day sale and got a great deal on it! It is a really good washer. The only problem I have is that it shakes and moves forward a lot of the time, which the description specifically says it's not supposed to do. The wash cycle is very quiet, it just shakes and bangs and moves forward during the spin cycle, even with a small load. Other than that I don't have any problems. It cleans well and has a lot of great options for cycles and temperature and all that washy stuff.

Clothes are truly cleaner! Energy efficient and quiet ... except when it whistles that it's done! Love it!

We love our new washer - holds a lot of clothes, gets clothes clean, and we look forward to the little tune that plays when the clothes are done!

This is my first front load washer and I was a little hesitant to purchase one at first. However, I love this washer. It is very easy to use and gives you many laundering options. Like the fact that settings go back to standard after each load so you don't accidentally leave it on hot wash, for example. Also like that you don't need to select load size- machine adjusts automatically to what and how much you put in it. No problem at all with mold or moldy odor as some people complain of with front load washers. Door has magnet that leaves it just slightly open even when "closed" to allow moisture to dry. I also do recommended bleach cycle wash with no clothes monthly. Use the recommended he detergent and with the measured detergent dispenser, find I am using MUCH less detergent and clothes are coming out very clean. Also enjoy the direct drive motor of this model- no belts to break!

We've had this washer for about a month now & it really is great! It has so many options, and can wash huge loads, King size comforters, or tiny loads if I need it too. Also I am amazed by how little water & soap it uses! The only reason I gave a less than excellent grade on the features, is because I was really let down by the fact that you could only get it in white!

I just had my washer delivered on 2/15/12. That same day while bending down to load clothes into washer I noticed a foul odor. I started feeling very sick from it. It put my nose up to the gray door gasket and found that to be a very strong foul odor. It didn't really smell like other rubber I've smelled, but didn't smell moldy either. I left washer door open for 24 hrs and it still smells. Now I've noticed the stink on my clothes that I'm washing. I've tried the clean tub with bleach, but the door gasket still stinks. I will call LG for any recommendations, but suspect they will be of little help. I've read a ton of reviews who say they are useless. If so and odor continues I will have to return. I know they is mold and mildew issues with the gaskets, but mine has none of that since it is new. I also wonder if maybe this is already a returned machine and the smell is on the outer side of drum that I can't see.

We have owned this washer for about 6 months now. I LOVED it when we first got it but as time has went by it seems like it gets louder and louder. It is so loud that I went to check during one of the spin cycles because it sounded like it was going to come off the base. When it was installed we used a level to make sure that was not the problem, and it still shows it as level so I am not sure what the deal is. It sounds like the wash tub is beating on the side of the outer case. Also we tried washing smaller loads to see if that affected it but still loud and vibrating like crazy.

After I received my washer, I saved $55 on my electric bill and $15 on my water bill. Plus I will receive $175 check from a rebate. I am satisfied and so is my budget!! I'm getting the dryer!

This is by far the best washer I've ever owned. It's friendly, uses WAY LESS water (which is important to me), good looking and very effecient! The speed wash feature is a great time saver!!! I love it!

Very pleased with my purchase. Replaced a GE washer that I only had for a few years and which did not clean clothes consistently. Extremely happy with my LG. Cleans clothes efficiently and effortlessly. Followed directions so there is no bad smell in clothes or washer as others have reported. Can't wait to buy the dryer.

Love how quiet this washer is. My clothes are very clean and smell good. Like the price, too and water savings.

It's a bit early to tell if this is a good product but I like it so far. It's easy to use and has nice features. It is a bit louder than our last model though when water is being run to the machine.

This doesn't use much water, but it gets the clothes clean. This was the first washer we have ever purchased. It works fine. Not a lot of features, but works for our needs.

I had another brand of front loader washing machine for 10 years and this LG out performs my old one. It is quicker and I really like the indicator screen that tells you how long the load will take as well how many minutes are left in the cycle. Our clothes seem cleaner and it uses so much less detergent!

As with its partner product, the LG dryer..this product is a little expensive, but efficient, quiet and multi-functional. We love it!

Love LG products this machine lets me choice any cycle I need uses very little water.

The washer is everything I expected. Works great. Unfortunately this is where my positive remarks stop. Don't expect customer service from BB. I will never buy anything from BB again due to the horrible treatment I received from them.

I was very happy with my purchase. I was impressed about the sales person, and the delivery men. The product was better than I expected.

Went $600 over budget for what I thought would be a premier brand, LG. Best Buy delivery showed up in a unmarked contractors truck. Installer forgot to hook up exhaust dryer vent, apologized when this pointed out. Also, installer stuffed waste tube from washer several feet (way too far) down sewer pipe against mfg. instructions, client put waste tube to recommended 4" depth to prevent bacteria backflow from waste drain. WASHER GAVE ERROR CODE dE which LG says is a bad door latch. On house call, authorized repair says latch is bad and need part. I just moved in and have 8 loads of dirty laundry and SICK thinking I'm going to the coin laundromat with a dead $1400 laundry set just delivered that I can not use. Not one bit happy with my new, nonfunctional LG washer. Decided to have this lemon replaced rather than repaired. Repairman also said mold mildew problem inherent with front loaders: must keep washer door open when not in use. Glad i took off doors to laundry niche to accommodate the door open recommendation...

I replaced a 10 year old unit. If this washer lasts as long then it will get 5 stars across the board. So far, I am happy.
