This range was the perfect solution for our kitchen. After installing our new counter tops we wanted the clean look of a slide in range. We had two issues, our counter top height was less than 36" and did not extend behind the range opening. Once we started looking we realized that most of these ranges are not full counter depth and the glass cook top overhangs the counter top. It was going to be quite expensive to have the granite installer come back to add a section behind the range. Also I did not like the look of the bare glass edge of the range top. If anything is slightly off the glass will not sit flush. I was afraid this raw edge would collect crumbs and dust and was at risk to chipping. The only ranges we could find that had decent height adjustment, stainless clad cook top, and full depth were high end models that were prohibitively expensive. This range offers the custom look of these high end ranges. I love the smooth cook top and the stainless edge protects glass and provides a clean transition to the counter top. The knobs are angled down on the front out of the way of moving pots and pans on the range top. We have had this range for four months so far and I'm very pleased with both it's appearance and function. I especially like the convenience of the dual size burner. Some of the negative reviews I saw mentioned the cook top was hard to clean and they did not like the exhaust fan. The cooktop is as easy to clean as any other glass cook top I've had. It does help if you keep the bottom of your pans clean and wipe spills to avoid any cooked on build up. You can hear the fan and feel the warmth from the exhaust as the range cools down but I don't find this to be excessive. Overall I am very pleased with the appearance and function of this range.

Looks and works great. We bought all LG appliances for our kitchen remodel. They've been great so far. My only disappointment is the LED (screen) color doesn't match between the range and the microwave. Learning to use convection for baking has been a good experience.

Had an authorized tech out, he verified the inside shell was built crooked so there is no way to level baking racks, LG said if that's the case they wouldreplace the unit. Once verified they refuse to do anything, I'm stuck with junk try cooking a cake in this

Love this backless range with the splash of cobalt on the interior. Goes perfectly with all of my carefully selected LG appliances in my modern kitchen renovation.

I love this stove, it was delivered about a month ago I am still waiting on the fill strip that fits in the back of the stove next to the wall. Don't let them take the boxes .

Secondly it makes cooking a dream! Best decision I've ever made.

Wasn't planning on buying a new stove when we went shopping for a new refrigerator. But when I walked by this stove and it looked so nice and then I opened the oven door......I feel in love with the Cobalt Blue interior and the features of the stove and oven. The oven bakes great and evenly. I love my new glass top stove and the 2 in one burner is a great idea. My grandson enjoys turning the light on to look at my clean beautiful blue oven. I have been enjoying cooking and baking a lot more with my new stove. Wish I had bought one sooner.

Has great lines; heating elements keep temp consistent; easy to operate.

Love the look of this range (slide-in without a back). My only disappointment is that the lettering on the dials and face of the appliance wore off very quickly. Burners heat a bit unevenly. Still love it though. Maybe there are replacement dials available??

The first LG slide-in electric oven we purchased from Sears took a week to be delivered & when they brought it they said they opened the box & the door fell off. Another would take an additional week. I should have gone with my other option & got the Samsung. However we liked the look of this range & ordered another from Best Buy. We did save a little money. And it did come undamaged & much quicker. I also want to say the delivery guys were kind & had a big job of carrying up steps to our front door. Afterwards, we realized the "optional rear filler" was not with our oven, although it is to be included, to fill any gap between the back of the range & the wall. It is listed in the set-up instructions & parts that it is included. It was not. After a long phone call with LG & giving them our information & the label #s in the storage drawer, I was told it would be arriving in days. However, all we got was a phone call. I needed to take pics of our receipt, where we bought it, our name & address, date purchased on the receipt & price we paid needed to be visible in these pics sent to them. I thought we weren't going to receive anything after a couple more weeks went by. We finally got a tiny package delivered from LG. It was a plastic putty knife! What!?!?! Is this a joke!?! I finally give up!!! It's not worth another hour long call. Now, I definitely wish we would have gotten the Samsung slide-in instead. This was a Christmas gift from my husband & it's turned into such an unbelievable hassle. You would think after someone spends $1500 + on a range, LG would send missing parts without any hassle. Even if we spent $500, I would hope that. It's been so disappointing. As for the stove itself, it doesn't heat any faster than our 20 yr old stove did. I can hear & see the fan is running during "bake" & not just "convection bake". It's all very noisy, except for the timer alarm tone. Even after adjusting it to the loudest setting, I can't hear it go off over the fan. I have to use the timer on our microwave. I'm hoping it holds up for awhile. This has completely ruined me wanting or needing to buy any other major appliances.

Because of it not having a self trimming feature, we couldn't install it in our existing cabinets! To be able to install it properly would have required major cabinet modifications! Therefore this made it un usable for our installation!

THE LG RANGE IS GREAT EXCEPT FOR ONE MAJOR FLAW. WHEN THE OVEN IS TURNED ON THE HEAT AT WHAT EVER TEMP. YOU HAVE IT SET FOR VENTS OUT IN THE ROOM AT HURRICANE FORCE. IN FL. THIS WOULD ADD HEAT INTO THE KITCHEN AREA WHERE YOU DO NOT WANT IT. IN ALASKA IT WOULD BE FINE. WE FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS SERIOUS PROBLEM AND BEST BUY ARE REPLACING IT WITH A WHIRLPOOL WITH VENT IN BACK SO HEAT WILL BE SUCKED IN TO OUR VENT. WE DID NOT HAVE THE LG LONG ENOUGH TO FIND OUT HOW IT WOULD HEAT UP THE OVEN HANDLE, BUT OTHER SAY YOU NEED A PAD TO OPEN THE DOOR. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHERE THE OVEN WILL VENT BEFORE PURCHASE .. AGAIN BEST BUY WAS GREAT ABOUT THE RETURN.
