Good budget 4k monitor, so-so viewing angles

I should of researched more but the VA panel color shift was not acceptable for my taste. It's not really a fault of the monitor per say, it's just the nature of Vertical Alignment panels. For a 4k VA panel it is very good. I will still recommend it. You just have to know what your getting into. If your picky about off axis quality then this is not for you. Get a IPS 4k panel which of course cost significantly more. Good Luck!

Great picture but bad sound

OK for entry into 4K monitors, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I though I was getting a deal with this 32" 4K monitor, as it was only $20 more than the LG 27UK600, but I was wrong. I hooked it up and it didn't look as sharp. Went through all the settings to match my 28" LG and it looked grainy and washed out. I should've googled it first, turns out this is a VA panel and not an IPS like my 27" LG. You'll see the difference if you've used IPS panels or high quality screens like Macs and others. Picked it up today and back in the box it goes, I'm returning it in the morning and picking up another LG 27UK600 that's on sale for $349. Unless your eye sight is poor, then get a good quality 32-40" IPS panel, otherwise, the LG 27UK600 is very nice.
