    Absolute junk. It began to fail after just four months. Getting any level of support was a nightmare. It failed completely at just 14 months, almost immediately after the warranty expired. I can't believe the enormous number of high reviews on this unit. It's the 2nd new LG monitor I've had that failed in less than 18 months.

    Small burn in after only a few weeks

    Purchased LG 32UL500-W monitor after Christmas 2020. After less than a few weeks a portion of the screen already has some burn in. I have only used the monitor with my laptop and have not watched any TV on it. The burn is a portion of an app running on my laptop. If it doesn't fade / go away I will return try to return the monitor.

    Dead in 60 days

    In less than 2 months my monitor is dead. Missed the return window so now I'll probably get a refurbished replacement. Very disappointed. First LG purchase, probably last.

    This monitor wasn’t good. I bought it just for it now to turn on! Seemed like the led wanted to turn on but nothing happened. Went with a Samsung one instead and works great!

    I still use this monitor at work today. I has developed a line in the middle of the screen. I do not recommend

    Been using this monitor for 3 years now and I still love it. The vibrant colors and the 4K resolution coupled with HDR and FreeSync make every game and TV show look great. Very pleased with the purchase and great price

    Great for software engineer

    I'm a software engineer on a Mac. It's great! Only thing to watch out for is if you're using display port, you need to turn off HDR in System Preferences > Displays (It's under the rotation drop down). If you don't turn it off the colors are awful and not usable. Also recommend calibrating the colors. The stand that comes with it is not the best as it can't really move much, so I got a monitor arm to mount it to my desk which allows for much more movement, as well as rotation.

    LG disappoints with low end VA screen that reviewers speculate wasn't made by them. Spend $20 more for height adjustable mount with 550 model. No tilt. Or spend $100 more for UN650 IPS technology (Aug 2020 new model) for brighter screen and accurate color rendition for photography and video editing. I tried the 550 for a few weeks. HDMI-1 would never reliably reconnect to PC after sleep or power restart. Only HDMI-2 worked properly. Returned thankfully.
