After only having the product for three months, the monitor fell forward when I dropped my height desk down electronically. Due to the jerk upon dropping desk and a not well designed stand the monitor fell on top of my keyboard and the impact broke half the screen. Called LG customer support and due to there being an impact that cannot repair or replace.

I could not make the screen resolution work, on either my Windows 10 or Window's 11 PCs. The big issue was the LG reporting and offering inconsistent screen resolutions on startup. On one startup she'd say she wanted bigger than I was sending, and on another startup the opposite (see photo). Also, I didn't find adequate documentation on the various setting options.

Good quality but should have gotten a curved screen instead to avoid neck strain

Purchased this trash from Best Buy less than two months ago and now there is a black vertical blur running right down the middle of the screen. No returns possible, now I have to fight with the manufacturer or pay Best Buy to tell me it’s a defective monitor. Waste of money and time doing business with them

I bought this monitor for personal everyday tasks and office work. So far I love it and everything has been perfect. The picture is clear and bright and no problems with compatibility with a couple of Windows PC's I've hooked up to it. I did find the factory settings kind of dull looking so I changed the setting to "Vivid" and that made it look better. I replaced 2 FHD monitors with this one LG UltraWide monitor and I can never go back again to regular sized monitors. With an UltraWide, not only can you multitask on just one monitor, but any apps or websites that support UltraWide modes are a joy to use now. For example, in Outlook I no longer have to open each email to view it, I can just click on the email and see the text of the email to the right side due to the extra horizontal space. It also freed up some desk space replacing 2 monitors with this one monitor. It doesn't have built-in speakers but that's okay because at least it has 3.5mm audio jack output so you can conveniently plug speakers into the back of the monitor and even cheap external speakers are better than most monitor built-in speakers. For inputs, you get 1 HDMI input and 1 DisplayPort input which should be enough for most people. One other thing I prefer about this monitor is that it NOT curved. Some people prefer curved but I looked at curve monitors on display at BB and I didn't like the curve, things book bent and distorted towards the middle of the screen. This monitor is purely flat and there is no distortion to text which I greatly prefer since I'm using it mostly for text-based work.

The lcd screen got a deadpixel. Not trusting LG for monitors again maybe just TVs and Refrigerators. Also it has input issues with fitting to my laptop’s display. Broken backlight too. Glare in the screen.

The base is defective, screen could not keep balanced and fell over and broke.

This is a nice monitor and affordable without sacrificing quality. The picture looks very nice and the 100hz refresh rate is super smooth and responsive. I tested both the hdmi and display port and got 100hz with both inputs. One thing I’ve noticed is that if I try to use both ports at the same time it does not detect the device that’s plugged into the display port. Not sure if thats an issue with the adapter I purchased or the monitor itself. The specifications do not indicate if this is compatible with MacOS, I’m using this monitor with a 2020 M1 Mac Mini just fine. Got it Open-Box for $269.99 so hard to beat for an ultra-wide monitor.

Love the size of this monitor! I needed an external monitor for work purposes at home as soon as possible so I proceeded with the purchase. Upon using it, I wished there were at least 2 HDMI ports and a higher brightness display increase. It was quite a challenge to figure out what cables are compatible with the only 2 ports the monitor has that will connect my Macbook and an older iMac. I find it too dark for playing videos and the video sometimes lag if the window is opened on this monitor. An internal speaker would've been nice. I don't mind purchasing an external speaker but I couldn't find anything that looks nice and slim to my liking that supports the only aux input the monitor has. Maybe should've given it 3 out of 5 stars but I gave it a 4 since it's still fairly new to me and I still enjoy using it.
