It looks great but splitting it in half is not the same as two separate smaller monitors, and I find having something like a document or browser open to the whole screen width as awkward. There is some lag in the refresh when I do that (could be my graphics card - I have nothing special in that department)

I write software and have many simultaneous windows going at the same time. This is a good quality monitor, but I am frustrated that neither Windows or Linux have drivers that recognize how to use screen space. Instead of treating it like a bigger window, they scale the output. So you really do not get more space to work with. The drivers also cannot take advantage of the screen resolution properly. They detect less resolution than the screen supports. Perhaps this is really intended for gaming with a PC that has an advanced graphics card. I tried using a 4 year old NVidea card, to drive it, but it has no difference than the motherboard graphics when just running normal windows.

My other monitor is a 40" Vizio TV which is nice. I wanted something that's meant to be a computer monitor instead of a tv. It's worked out great. Picture is clear and I love the 34" size. You can easily have two full windows open side-by-side at the same time.
