Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor for my wife to replace her dual monitor setup, and I was super impressed. The screen is huge, but it doesn't take up a ton of room on her desk. It also works with both her home PC via Thunderbolt 3, and with her work CPU via HDMI. We also use it as a hub for all the peripherals (mouse, keyboard, ethernet, etc).

It works well with my 2017 macbook pro, and I have no issues with it there. I have read a lot about it performing poorly with 2018 macbook pro models, however I have had problems on the 2018 mac mini. I bought the monitor for my 2018 mac mini and the monitor will not turn back on if the computer is ever turned off or restarted. Unfortunately for my job I have to turn it off frequently. Sometimes I can get the monitor to work, but I have to connect it to the macbook pro, close the clamshell, and then try to connect it to the mac mini and maybe 25% of the time that will cause the screen to turn on with the thunderbolt port. This has been very frustrating. I have updated to macos 10.14.3 and it still performs very poorly. Disappointing for such an expensive monitor. I do not want to return it because it is so beautiful and works much better for me than 2 monitors with its high resolution but I fear I may have to due to its unreliability.
