We purchased this LG steam, front load washer to replace a 9 year old Maytag Neptune Washer which was failing. After 4 weeks, the washer has performed perfectly, producing very clean clothes. We use all the cycles (great choices) and the clothes are much dryer requiring less dryer time. The washer is a very quiet machine and uses very little energy. Best Buy took the Maytag and installed the new LG washer and we would highly recommend Best Buy and the LG Washer.

Works great! Makes doing laundry a joy. Easy to use.

I purchased the LG WM3470HWA after researching on the internet and reading the Consumers Report review on Washers & Dryers. This model was a top performer, and Best Buy had a great price. I have found this washer to be very easy to use and it does an excellent job of washing the clothes. It has so many features, that I haven't yet used all of them, but am sure they will work as advertised.

I love our new purchase of the LG front load washer. It is easy to operate, very quiet, uses less water & detergent, and has so many great options to use.

I was looking for a large capacity washer that could handle tough stains and large loads and this washer can handle both. I love the steam functions and have been amazed at the way it lifts out the kind of stains that my previous washers could never handle. Large comforters fit easily and wash up really well. My towels feel fluffier and the spin cycle removes so much water that they take less time in the dryer. I am really happy with my new washer!

The whites actually stay white. The sanitize wash cycle is fabulous for super sweaty and smelly gym clothes, they are so fresh and clean no one could ever tell how smelly they were.

Amazing how good a new washer and dryer can be (we also got the matching electric dryer). Extremely quiet and fast. Huge number of settings. Spins so fast that there's little water left for the dryer, which then runs for much less time than our old one. Easy to use. Just wish they didn't need 5-6 inches behind the units for vent, plugs, and hoses. LG also were highly rated by Consumers Reports, especially for this model (and fewest repairs).

LG got great reviews in Consumer Reports, so I bought this in November 2012, and have loved the washer so far. No issues at all, clothes are cleaned wonderfully, and I love the 'Hand Wash' function...it does a great job and does not wear down or ruin delicates. Runs quietly and so far, very happy with my purchase. I did not buy the pedestals as I did not need them.

This washer is so efficient, quiet, and cleans thoroughly. Glad I made the switch to high efficiency washers. There's no going back!

We recently took advantage of the Best Buy Labor Day sale to purchse this Consumer Report recommended model. It has been a great washer so far, with great features including a magnet, retractable post to keep the door slightly ajar to prevent mildew after washing. We have been very pleased so far.

Love all the features it has. Love that I could set a start time to wash. Awesome washing machine. My kids play sports and their filthy clothes comes out super clean.

Replaced 13 year old washer with this front loader. Wash is done in half the time with about 1/4 of the water and energy use. Spin cycle takes out so much water from clothes that some clothes are almost dry when removing them. We highly recommend this washer.

This is a great machine, very efficient and easy to use. It's quiet too. It gets my clothes cleaner than my top load machine.

My old washer was this same model. The new model has more options and is just as easy to use. My clothes get clean and I do a ton of wash. I like the way that the door now stays slightly ajar to keep the drum from getting the musty smell that my old washer would get. I would always leave the old washer open, but sometimes my "little helpers" would close it and the smell was not so great.

We now can wash our king size comforters we love it! Our energy hill has gone down drastically. All in all very happy!

My clothes have never came out cleaner and smelling terrific. I have not yet used the steam clean so I don't know the results to it as of yet. Even though the tub is registered a little smaller than my previous LG Front loader, I have not noticed a bit. The outside silver also stays clean of finger marks (which I was mildly afraid would be a bit of an issue~but am relieved it is not).

I love it. It really works great. I will highly recommend it . It is the latest equipment in the market and is really advance technology. Very good for a single family and also works in heavy loads.
