Washer works fine and is much quieter than the old washer. No problems so far. Was hoping the steam clean would do a better job getting stains out. Overall it's been a positive experience.

This washer is great-it has many different settings for any kind of wash you need to do. The cycles are around an hour or less each. What used to be 2+ loads in our old washing machine now is 1 load with room to spare!

The washer is very good. It uses much less detergent and fabric softener than our previous washer. The sad thing is our clothes are not as soft now, so we are using softener sheets as well. It does a great job cleaning our clothes, and they do not come out wrinkled like our previous front loader. It also is very quiet.The only downside is the door window remains wet, so we worry about mold. Otherwise, I highly recommend this washer.

Excellent washer, my first front loader and wow what a difference! It can be a bit noisy when it starts and stops but during normal run cycle it is fairly quiet. I love the music it plays when your laundry is done!

It does its washing job well. The only drawback is it makes shooting sound at the beginning of the washing cycle, but it is only for a brief time period when the water comes in the tub.

This replaced our old Duet washer, which we loved. After reading reviews we decided on this model as best fitting our desired price range and features. We weren't looking for the steam option but for the small bump in price it seemed worth it (besides, my wife liked the shiny chrome door better). The washer has a large number of preset settings, but, like every other washer out there, everything can easily be overridden. The first thing we noticed was how absolutely quiet this machine is. Some reviews complained of a water thump when water was being added, but I have not noticed this. I like the fact that it figures out how big the load is and adjusts the water level appropriately (there's also an 'add more water' option). You can also specify 'cold water' wash for any setting. This increases the wash time somewhat, but the clothes seem to be every bit as clean as when the normal warm wash is used. My only complaint is that the panel for the (eight) option settings is not back lit so, at least with our setup, it's not easy to read the options (things like pre-wash, wash delay).

This is my first front loading washer. I like the many wash options available, including the option to add more water to the wash cycle. There are two things less than perfect. Even when I program a cold wash and rinse, the clothes come out of the washer steaming hot. That seems to cause some fading and wrinkling. The other is that I cannot use liquid bleach alternative or powdered bleach as I am accustomed to doing.

Cleans all loads as described works great and sings at the end no annoying beeps was a benefit I did not expect . You can do a speed wash when your day is hectic no more Slave to the laundry day

Cycles take 1-2 hours, longer than prior front loader. No soak feature but does have a prewash, not quite the same thing. You pretty much need the $275 stand or you'll be reaching low down to transfer clothes to your dryer. Not good for your back otherwise. A hidden cost you need to consider. Overall, clothes are clean so I can't complain too much.

Work well washing clothes. Has more options than anyone would ever need including steam. I notice that using any other setting other than the default will add sufficient additional time to the wash cycle. I took away one star because ever time I wash a comforter I get a (UE) error for unbalanced load. But If LG reputation for quality hold up, I should get many years of good service from this unit.

Actually was looking at model below this but decided to get model with steam for allergies. Spins well which speeds up drying. Happy overall and expecting reliability with LG

This is the second set that I have owned. The other set stayed with the house we sold. They are easy to use and cleans great.

I've had this washer for a month and absolutely love it. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough to say it may not have issues. I researched washers for months before deciding on this one and preferred a top-loader, but eventually decided on this one. I like the variety of cycles (esp the steam!) and the fact that it is easy to use. I wipe out the plastic lining after every wash and leave the door open for awhile so that mold does not build up. I'm doing the monthly load clean today, as recommended. I had some of my things in storage for 2 years, so as soon as I unpacked any clothing, bedding or decorative pillows, I threw them in the washer on the sanitize cycle. They came out refreshed and smelling great. When you purchase it, be sure to purchase all of the extras you will need. I have my washer and dryer stacked and forgot to buy a stacking kit. When Best Buy delivered them, they could not stack them and the stacking kits were out of stock. I had to wait about 10 days to get one. Just be sure to purchase everything you need when you buy the washer to ensure a smooth installation. Be sure to read the owner's manual. I think some of the issues others have posted have to do with not following how to use it and care for it. So far, so good!

I am impressed with the style and design if this washing machine. It has all the options I could ever want and is so quiet.

I received my new washer/dryer set and they look awesome! Washed my first load of clothes and you can tell how efficient these machines are. The clothes came out clean!

I recently bought a new LG font loader washing machine from Best Buy in Bellevue. I had it delivered and installed in just a few days.They hauled away my old machine for free too. My clothes are so clean and I'm happy to be saving money on water and energy bills. I sort of knew what I wanted and our salesman Galen showed me several different options without any pressure to buy a specific model. I love Best Buy

I could not believe how well it spins out the coth a load of wash takes much less time

I tried 2 tests on this machine as soon as I got it. #1 Area rug, more like a long narrow hallway rug, It barely fit inside but it came out clean. I removed the rug during the spin cycle and let it drip dry outside. The colors were nice and bright! #2 Gym clothes used 3 to 4 days in a row sometimes longer for years (2-3years). The old washer (12 years old) could never get the smell out completely. I thought it was the detergent, but switching detergents never helped. As soon as the sweat was on them the smell came right back. The new washer got them clean and smell free, it was the Sanitary cycle that did it. It did take almost 2 hours but it worked perfectly. Now I use the normal cycle and the smell still not there. Highly recommend it.

LG Steam washer & dryer work great. It's nice to have full sized appliances that fit into a laundry closet designed for a much smaller stack unit. We love all the cycles available on both the washer and the dryer. It actually is big enough to wash our cal king sized comforter in it. It is also much quieter than my old Maytag Neptune stack unit.

My LG washer is top notch. The reviews said it was the best, and I agree. Very efficient, great cleaning, and multiple settings. Very nice!
