Absolutly love this washer. It has multiple cycles to fit any of my needs (and more). If you choose a cycle, the washer automatically presets water temp, spin, etc.... but you can change any of these settings as well. The washer is very quiet and I love the platinum color! Would definatly recommend this washer/dryer set.

I had a front loader that needed to be replaced and was unsure of what I wanted to purchase. I read many revies and wasn't sold on the top loader. I knew I wanted a high effeciency washer but was very displeased with my front loader so my only choice was to go with a top loader. I researched many brands and options and decided to go with this washer. This washer is fantastic!!! It is very quiet and it doesn't move across the floor. My clothes come out clean and it will handle alrge loads. It does use a little more water than my front loader but the pay off is well worth it!! Love it!!

Got a good washer at an excellent price eventhough we had so many problems with the delivery and installation. It is very quiet which important for our family and is also energy efficient . My husband loves it because we are able to wash our comforters with the new washer. He hates taking our comforters to the laundrymat because he thinks it is inconvinient. Overall we got a good washer at a great price, super satisfied!

I've only had this washer for 2 months so it's a little early to comment on overall reliability. It is doing a great job getting everything clean and it doesn't twist my clothes as tightly as my old machine which helps to reduce wrinkles during drying. It's also very quiet. I love the color!

Chose this washer based on consumer reports reviews. Ended up getting a floor model at a significant discount, which helped our decision. Have had the washer for about 1 month. So far we really like the washer, as it is quiet and easy to use. We are comparing against our previous Maytag front loading HE washer, which we hated. The only complaint is that we are having a problem with soap residue on some clothes. I think we are using too much powder and may even switch to liquid detergent. Otherwise, I am happy so far. Capacity is fantastic.

I purchased, then cancelled this washer. After one month, I repurchased because it was a great price (floor model) and I did on line research. So far, I am very happy with the results. I have washed blankets, towels, regular clothes and delicates with no issues. This washer is very quiet as well.

I first bought the matching dryer it's been so awesome we decided to go with the Lg washer to match it. This thing is incredible you can fit so many things inside! It cleans thoroughly has sanitary washes and so many options! Love the look, the motor is super silent like the dryer . Love this combo would recommend to anyone! 3 washes a day! Runs like a champion.

Needed to replace our 10 year old Maytag washing machine and was impressed by the number of cycle options and load capacity. Very easy to use, quiet. Load wash time is actually longer than our previous non HE washer but the load capacity is so much greater that the extra wash time is offset by doing far less loads. If there is a drawback, it's the load capacity is so great that we'll probably have to replace our 10 year old Maytag dryer with a dryer that can match the washers capacity.

This is a great washing machine for a great price. The representative at our local Best Buy store was very knowledgeable in all the washing machines she showed us and recommended this one very highly. My wife and I went to three other stores that all had the same machine for the same price, but Best Buy was the only one that had it in stock, which was unbelievable because I find it hard to get anything in stock from my local store. Now my wife cannot wait to get the matching dryer...

Yes you spend quite a bit up front, but you save in the long run. Less water, less detergent and less energy in the long run saves you $$$$!!! I keep reading that there are longer wash times on this machine. True but, the super large capacity makes up for it. If I can wash all of my family's load in one shot then I don't mind an extra 15 minutes because I ONLY HAVE TO WASH ONCE!

I love my top load washer! We use to have a front load washer and it developed a bunch of mold around the drum. With this washer I don't see that being an issue at all. I really enjoy the large capacity. I can throw in one load which would have been two or more with my old one. Washing comforters or bulky items is made so easy with this washer. Love, love this washer!

Going from a low-end standard washer and dryer set-up, this is a massive change. Between the quiet spin cycles, auto-balancing and amount of clothes this can wash at one time, it's worth the extra couple of hundred dollars. I would galdly trade in a night out for the ammenities.

really enjoy this washes. not only it looks so great, it helps the dryer to dry in a short amount of time.large tub for a washer. hopefully it will outperform the whirlpool (9 years) and maytag (5 years) i had previously.

Very uncertain-- at firs--t about getting a washer without the traditional center agitator, but this washer has dismissed all of my fears and uncertainty. Just love it! Does the job well! Best washer I have ever owned in my 40 years of marriage!

Love how clean our clothes are, the machine has the time that the load takes to wash, can adjust wash cycle to your specifications, energy efficiency and less water usage. Washer is so huge I do laundry 1/4 the amount of times a week then I use to. It is wonderful!

We bought this to replace a Whirlpool Duet front load washer. What a great choice that was. No more worries about leaks around the door seal or issues with out of balance loads when washing 3 pair of jeans at once.

LG other brands similar recalled for unbalanced issues...this one has the same problem. After 3 years...it goes unbalanced EVERY time you run it no matter the load size.

This washer replaced an old maytag we had. It performs well, has lots of different wash settings, it holds a good amount of cloths. LG did a nice job with this design, it is easy to use, and runs extremely quietly.

So this unit was on sale when we found it for almost $300 less than L*we$ or HD. This unit has so many features, and it washes extremely well. I am very impressed compared to the older technology. The only problem is if it gets off balance, and then it is a real beast to fix!!

Nice glass door means you can watch it while it works,pretty neat to watch the first time you use it, options for towels and bulky bedding a nice touch as that is a must have when you have dogs
