Huge capacity. Overall ok appliance. Only gripe is, water level cannot be adjusted to appropriate load size (small, medium, large or X-Large capacities) a DEFINITE DESIGN FLAW. Many times the top of clothes will stay dry during a majority of wash cycle due to insufficient water level, and water level cannot be appropriately adjusted. It appears that water level is based on weight, and not actual bulk or height within tub. IMO sub-standard Engineering flaw….a supposed water saver….but not in reality….if you have to wash clothes twice -or- forced to always use the “Deep fill *Max” button option.

So far so good! Happy with the performance of this washing machine. We like the agitator versus the open tub from our old LG which made a lot of banging noise when it was sensing the load. Thus far none of those issues with this machine! I find most washers and dryer regardless of the brand typically have some issues which is really unacceptable for as long as washers/dryers have been manufactured. These machines are not cheap and I hope all brands start a more stringent process of testing to ensure more reliability where they last 10 years of use without breaking requiring service. Happy with LG and will update if things change

This is the washer for me. It has a large washing basin with a middle agitator. Gets stains and grit and grime out on the first washing. Quiet and efficient. This washer has great spin cycles. Clothes are just a little damp after washing them. It takes a lot less time in the dryer to get them dry and wrinkle-free.

Washes quiet and clothes are clean. The dashboard is hard to read not a good mix of colors hard to read setting. I personally have to get used to the water levels set by the sensor. I wish it put a little more in but the clothes are clean. Love the size. Able to wash my bedding now at home instead of laundry mat.

Really have enjoyed this washer. It cleans well and can handle large or small loads. Overall relatively quiet machine, and the glass lid is great for seeing what’s in the machine and knowing where it is in the cycle.

This LG washing machine works well for me. It takes 55 minutes to complete a wash cycle (for bedding cycle). My clothes are smelling nice and it cleans well when stains are pretreated. It also agitates well and uses good amount of water in bedding cycle. The drawbacks are: 1. Lid locks after starting the wash. Have to pause the washer for the lid to open. 2. The buttons are not touch sensitive. The touch controls are not very easy to use as I have to hold the buttons rather firmly for it to work. 3. If extra rinse is added, total wash cycle is around 1 hour and 20 minutes. 4. No option available for overnight soak option. 5. Difficult to setup the Wi-Fi.

Love my LG top load washer with agitator.. It is so quiet and my clothes come out so nice and clean. It is very easy to operate. My husband can even load the LG. I just washed six pillows. They had a nice bath and are ready for the bedroom.

This is the top load washing machine with the agitator. It gets the clothes clean and spins them very dry. My only criticism would be if you wash one blanket or comforter on the bedding cycle it becomes easily unbalanced and throws an error. So wash more items on the bedding cycle.

I don't care what you read or what any reviews says, I have had several washing machines and this is by far the best. I had a maytag for years until they changed the way they are made. I bought a Samsung 2 years ago and had it for less than a year and I hated it. We bought the LG and could not he happier

Excellent top load washer. Agitator seems to get clothes cleaner than my old washer without one. Lots of modes available to use and calculates remaining time for cycle to finish. Looks great and not too loud.

PRO: It's so quiet and I love the agitator, makes my clothes cleaner. CON: Why does the wash cycles have to be so long; 1 1/2 hr and I think the spin cycle is ridiculously long too

We have been using our new LG washer for about a month now and so far so good. Chose this washer partly because of the top Consumer Reports rating. Very large wash tub allows you to do pretty big loads. Says it supports blankets and comforters. To fully understand how to use you need to download the full manual and pay attention to each preprogrammed cycles and allowable things you can modify in each. All in all it seem to be working well.

Loving the LG Top Load Washer So Far

Loving this so far! I am a previous front load owner (it was a Westinghouse) as well as prior to that a Kenmore Top Load owner. While I preferred the efficiency of moving to a front loader, what I didn't like was the musty/moldy smell and some other front load issues with spinning etc. I hemmed and hawed about buying yet another washer/dryer combo but after much research born of my frustration I went with the LG. I've had this set for roughly 90 days and I'm wondering why I took so long to take the leap. My clothes seem cleaner, the cycles have all run exactly as planned and I love the added smart features of text notifications when the cycle has completed along with the auto sych of the dryer. Best Buy installers did a great job and I haven't looked back since. LOVE this washer/dryer set. If you are on the fence, go for it!

Earlier in 2019 I bought a competitor product 5.2 Cu.ft, but had to send it back due to it's over efficiency in using water. even after a complete wash, the cloths on the top were not even wet. Not sure if it was an issue with that particular machine or all machines are over efficient leading to inefficient wash. Anyhow, I returned it back and started to research on new ones. In 2021 Thanks giving, I found LG had a model with Agitator 4.8 cu. ft, and this was something I was used to in my current 21 year old GE, 3.4 cu. ft. Finally I pulled the plug to get this model and it's corresponding Dryer. Well after it was delivered on Dec 16th 2021, and until now, I have completed at least 15 full loads with different types of settings, and I am completely satisfied with it's performance. Initially I was getting a lot of white spots big ones on dark colored cloths, even though and wash colors and whites separately. Then I started to cut down on the amount of H.E. detergent, and it seemed to lessen the white dirty spots. So of the hurdles I faced were getting it to work with WiFi. It never registered correctly when I manually added the washer to ThinQ. For some reason I could not get the QR code. After multiple tries, finally I found the correct QR code which is on the left side of the washer, and when registered it was successful. Some WiFi limitation everyone needs to know. After a cycle, the washer will power off, which makes sense. But using WiFi, you cannot power it on. Change of all the settings through the ThinQ app can be done to what you can do on the washer physically. But to power it on, you need to physically go to the machine and touch and hold the power button. All buttons are touch, super simple, easy to understand etc. I am a tech savvy person, so using any complicated electronics is not an issue. But my wife also found easy to use this washer. Agitator works great. You will lose 0.2 Cu. Ft, in this model compared to the impellor, but it is OK, if you do your laundry as I do, separating the colors and whites, which I am used to as a kid. It does the job, dirty spots on the cloths are removed. Usually as the load is always high, I use Deep Fill, so that the water fill to the top of the cloths and submerges it. For smaller loads, it adds water as required and will use the water efficiently. I think the sound level is around 60 DB, very quite. I have not added any sound isolators to the bottom, as the washer is quite deep and at 5.7 feet height, it is quite a reach to the bottom of the drum. For quality I have given 4 stars, and it is not for the wash, but as the body is not even close to the robustness as my previous one. but I think this is what it is in all newer models. Just like any new machines, devices, cars etc, lot of electronics is involved. Has its own pros and cons. I will add another update in 6 months or one year to see how things are.

One of the Best washer we have owned. We had two LG Front loaderers before, both had mold, smelled and had dirt problems. No matter how many times , once a month, we ran tub cleaner, cleaned the front door seal, every two weeks, we had problems. So we took a step backwards and bought a Top Loader with agitator. In hind sight we wish we would have done this ten years ago. Great washer, cleans better, uses less soap and softener then past washer bt does use more water. We are happy customers and will buy LG again.

Cleans Better Than LG7900, But Still Not Great

We had the LG7900 washer and liked the aesthetics and features but we found that it wasn’t cleaning the clothes. After about 2 months of being upset with the amount of money $1200 that we paid to NOT have clean laundry, we decided that we would go back to a machine with an agitator to beat the clothes. When we went to process the return we found that LG had just come out with a model WITH an agitator - This LG7305 for $999. So we said let’s give LG another chance and try it since it had most of the features we liked on the 7900 and WITH an agitator. Well though it cleans BETTER than the 7900 - hands down- it still doesn’t clean the dirty white socks (toddlers) and spaghetti sauce (toddlers) out of clothing on the first wash or sometimes the 2nd wash. No matter how much bleach or detergent I use on the whites, forget about the spaghetti sauce. We wash everything with the Deep fill feature turned on so there’s enough water in the tub to wash the clothes. I absolutely hate the high efficiency water sensing feature. It takes water to clean clothes people. If I could find an old school GE agitator washer with 5.0 capacity I’d be in heaven!! So we have decided to see how this 7305 washer does with oxyclean and stain fighters pre-treating these stains before we make a final decision to return it. Mind you our old GE 11yo washer DIDN'T require oxyclean and stain fighters. The agitator effectively and powerfully cleaned the clothing. This LG agitator moves the same speed as the Lg7900 impeller and I think that’s the issue. The agitator isn’t moving fast enough. Problem is I have yet to see any of these newer agitator washers moving as effectively as the old ones. I’ll provide an update post oxyclean if it’s a keeper!

This is a great washing machine. It’s very quiet and I love all the extra room I have on the inside. No more hitting my knuckles on the agitator because of the extra room. Clothes come out smelling clean and fresh! Hopefully soon I can get the matching dryer!
