I am very satisfied with the ease of setting up this unit. The one issue I had was "discovering" that you had to indicate that I was using a Bose sound bar-for a while I the bar might have been defective, until I found that you had to switch the TV output. Quality of the picture is great and I enjoy searching the internet and the fact that it remembers searches. When compared to my 50 inch plasma screen the picture pops out-a petite home theatre when used with the Bose. Was able to look at photos on by USB drive and it is great for proofing.

Really easy to set up on network, and the app navigation is good. I've noticed that the picture quality seems to be better at night, because there's a large window in the room giving a lot of sunlight on the screen. Tempted to rearrange the room to cut down on the light interference. One of the connections (I think the component cables) is on the side instead of the back where all the other USB/HDMI inputs are, and it took me FOREVER to find. I don't understand why they didn't just put everything in the same area.

Because this is a smart tv, you need to move the cursor a lot to enter user names and passwords to initially get connected to your programming. The proximity of the buttons makes it really easy to exit out of the screen you're in the middle of filling out. I backed myself out of every data entry page multiple times - after the painstaking process of typing letters by moving the cursor to each letter and clicking on it to spell a word, I'd hit the "smart" or "my apps" or "back" tab on the cursor by accident and have to start all over again. Also, navigating the internet using the cursor is very clumsy and slow. The arrows and select button are not very responsive. Once I finally got to Xfinity website and entered my login, it turns out in order to watch their content on demand on this TV I need an upgraded version of flash player, and so far I haven't been able to accomplish that upgrade. We got this TV because we can't reach a cable wire to the location and so wanted only to use wireless content. We have a comcast account and have cable elsewhere in the house. Unfortunately, no other service providers in our area are available with wireless receivers. So we tried this. With the combo of netflix, amazon prime, and apple TV it's not bad. If I can get connected to Xfinity to watch on demand it would be the perfect solution. Also note - out of the box, this TV will require a software update as soon as you are connected to your network. It takes a long time so be patient. We rebooted it multiple times thinking it wasn't working. It was, it's just slow. Final note - we have a roku on this TV, but never need to use it b/c the TV has got enough of the same options as the roku.

This tv is awesome! The screen/picture quality, the smart tv capabilities, light weight. What's not to like! I love it!

I love this TV. The picture is great and it was very easy to set up and connect to the internet. It also comes preloaded with many useful apps. It also automatically detects external connections such as DVD player and the interface is very user friendly. The only feature of this TV that is less than perfect is the sound. It is okay but I wish it was a little stronger. Overall, for the price that I paid for this TV, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I purchased this tv to replace an older flat screen tv. It is great! We haven't tried the internet yet, but plan to when we figure out how. It was fairly easy to set up after I went back to the store for a cable to use to connect to our cable. We are still trying to figure out how to turn it on and off, and get sound, with only one controller. This may not be possible since we have a separate sound bar. Overall, we are really happy with the purchase!

The picture is very clear and the color is good. I like the option of connecting to the internet.

Picture quality is great, and Internet boots pretty quickly. I hardwired the Ethernet rather than used wireless to get faster throughput, though my wireless slowness was probably due to distance from the router. Several functions of supplied remote do not work; LG pushes its "magic remote" at additional cost. Overall, a quality product.

I have enjoyed this television very much. Although the sound leaves a little to be desired, the picture quality and ease of operation are great. I would recommend the smart remote but the basic one has more than enough features to make surfing channels enjoyable.

The salesman talked me into and LG over a Vaio at the store - and his reason was the numerous Smart TV features with the LG and the ease of using those features. Very easy to set up and get started. I went on-line and bought an Intellegent Remote - which i highly recommend. Excellent picture. Incredible aps. Easy to navigate - especially with the new remote. Great TV.

Three HDMI ports allow connecting the Xbox One, as well as the cable box. One still there, available for the other items we will add. Netflix is a breeze to watch. Click the Icon, chooses your show, and start to watch it. Couldn't get any easier. I watch You Tube for educational videos, works great. Just sync the PC to the TV when requested and watch away. The Tv is easy to set up, customize for different features, such as the different inputs, color, sharpening.

I love this TV! the picture quality is amazing, the sound is pretty good (especially considering I have 5 kids always playing/talking/fighting and I can still hear the TV without the use of a sound bar!) My only complaint is the remote; it makes a loud clicking noise with every press of the button. It gets really annoying really quickly!

I got this TV to replace a rear-projection TV that we had for 10 years. The picture on this TV is so much crisper and the color is so much better! It also takes up a LOT less room! The only downside is that the sound doesn't have the same deep, bass that the old TV had. I will get a soundbar to help that a bit but we love this new TV.

I purchased the TV for the bedroom where sound is not my major concern. The picture is great and easy to calibrate on your own. If you wish to hook it up to a home theater all the necessary connections are here. For an inexpensive, well made , well performing television, this could be the model for you.

We wanted a quality TV for the living room that was not too big, and this fit the bill. LG was highly rated on Consumer Reports, and we liked the Smart TV aspect of it. It also has a good picture even with bright light so that was important for our LR that has a lot of windows. It was a good value for the price.

The TV was easy to set up and surprisingly light compared to my plasma TV. The set up menu steps one through the process and everything worked without a fuss. I would recommend a sound bar to go with TV since there is little room for better speakers in the small, attractive surround of the screen.

Excellent picture and a good size. I purchased this model to go above the fireplace in my living room. Good size to frame out a normal sized mantle. I have a larger Samsung model in an entertainment room that is approx. 1 year older. I was impressed with the speed of this tv's operating system compared to my older tv. Netflix and Hulu seem to load a good bit quicker. I would recommend this model to a friend.

This TV replaced a TV we've had for about 15 years, and is my first HD TV. Set up was a breeze. In just minutes, I was connected to the internet. Our first movie on Netflix was a little disconcerting (in a good way). I felt like I was on the set, watching the characters interacting. I love it!

This was our first LG television purchase. We have been a Samsung household for years but decided on this LG due to value and other good reviews. The menu was a little different to get used to but the picture quality and available features are wonderful. Glad we purchased this television.
