I purchased the 42 inch Led TV..I just love it. Quality is there compared to another TV I owned. The picture is bright and clear. And looks great even when off! Thank You LG, I will purchase from now on LG Products. And will tell others!

Picture quality is excellent. Weight is good. Clarity is excellent. Price was descent. Overall i would recommend this HD TV For anyones home.

This TV has great picture and sound and was excellently priced. LG has proved to me they can put out excellent products being mostly a Samsung user this has proved to be an excellent product. I highly recommend I have it in my office and get compliments on the screen picture all the time.

We bought a Samsung flat screen last year and loved it, but Best Buy was out of stock when we went to buy a second. I had heard LG TVs were good, so I took a chance and bought it. The picture is really crisp and beautiful, at least as nice, if not nicer than, the Samsung. It's super light, I set it up by myself in less than 10 minutes. It works great with Apple TV, so you don't need to buy a Smart TV that will be out of date in no time.

The colors are very bright and clean, the picture is fanatic clear and crisp. The setup was easy, with the instructions were easy to follow.

My 7 year old Samsung 32 inch TV unexpectedly died. I did some research & discovered that Consumer Reports gave LG its top rating of "A" along with several other brands. My next question was should I get a smart TV. I read another article that suggested if you already own a Amazon Fire TV Stick or similar device you probably don't need a smart TV to enjoy access to Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, HBO GO, and Hulu Plus, as well as games & music. In addition, according to that article, a Smart TV may slow down operations of your TV. The price was much less than what I paid for my broken Samsung so I decided to buy the LG 42LF5600 42-Inch 1080p LED TV (2015 Model). After well over 30 days I am very pleased with my purchase. The picture quality is GREAT, the internal speakers are loud enough for me to hear the sound while exercising. In addition, if I want to listen through external speakers I was easily able to hook up my 3-year old receiver. In summary I give this TV an A++.

great picture quality. the tv is sturdy but light. two legs instead of one pedestal leg which means your furniture needs to be as wide as the tv to support it.

I wanted a bigger TV for my living room. I found this TV on sale. It is a great value and quality is wonderful.

Bought this after being hugely disappointed with a Samsung 40 because of the terrible sound problem . This has an expected great picture and the sound is great as well!! So much happier !!! The only problem we encountered so far are the legs of the stand are placed on each end of the tv instead of being in the middle of the tv so if you have a narrow stand that creates a problem .

This is an excellent TV for the price. The picture quality is great, and it was easy to set up. Because of space limitations, I could not get a bigger TV and was concerned it would not be big enough for the room, but it's fine. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Got the 42" version of this TV - I wanted a TV that has good picture and sound, the smart part is taken care by the Roku/Chromecast I have already. Pros: 1. The picture quality is great at 1080p, the colors are represented accurately and has a high contrast ratio. 2. Unlike most TV's the sound is fairly good and loud, so the additional soundbar or speakers are not required. 3. The slim metallic bezel is a visual delight. Cons: 1. The remote control quality could have been better. 2. The V stands on the TV look great, but need a wider TV stand to place the TV on. 3. Only 2 HDMI ports - one at the side and all others ports at the back, making them almost impossible to access in a wall mount scenario.

This tv is great. Not only does the tv itself look amazing, but the picture on it is perfect. I didn't want to get a 4K for this one and this was by far the best deal for the size i could find. It's easy to use, great picture, sound is good, overall LG is a great brand of TV! I've had one for 9 years now and wouldn't go with any other brand for a tv like this!

Great value in a 42 inch TV. Was actually cheaper than many 40 inch models. Is not a smart TV but is a replacement for a 5 y/o LG used in my father-in laws nursing home room. I wall mounted the unit with no problem, great picture and a great replacement for his old 32 inch. Size of always a plus when your vision is diminished!

This was purchased to hang on the wall in our bedroom after a recent remodel. The slim and lightweight design are perfect for a wall mounted unit. The sound is really good for a bedroom setting and the picture quality is great from various angles.

Colors are vibrant, picture is sharp, and great refresh rate for lag free gaming. It still has a great picture and clarity when the sun is shining into the room. I have not tried the speakers though because, I push my through a sound bar. The connection ports are located on the back and they face straight out. So, if you have a simple no thrills wall mount, like I do, be wary your cables will be doing some bending. Oh, speaking of mounting the screw holes for wall mounting are on different levels. The bottom mounting holes are higher than the top so make sure you have longer screws for the top holes. Lastly, there are no buttons on this TV instead, it has an analog stick on the bottom center of the TV's bottom bezel.

Great value. Lovely picture. Ease of use & hook u . So far so good. Decided in less than 20 minutes. Would recommended to a friend DO NOT WANT MY NAME POSTED OR EMAIL POSTED!!!!

its hard to find a simple tv now a days. Most come full of bloatware in disguise of a smart tv. but when it comes to my screen thats all I want from it is a screen I love bringing my own smarts to the table :D. I took a star away because it takes a bit long to react to power button from universal remote. as in it doesn't even blink or give sign of being alive until the panel comes on. I have a few times pressed again thinking it didn't read only to find I had now turned it off!!! wonder if tv or remote is to blame(no other equipment responds this way to same remote) this is a great tv image looks great very light and thin and wow its light gonna putt on the wall soon as I can afford a moving wall arm.

I picked this tv up from Best Buy and transported it home easily in the trunk of my car. Set up in our bedroom was easy and was completed in 20 minutes or less. This tv has a great picture with good sound quality. The Roku streaming device was simple to hook up and performs perfectly with this tv. I purchased this model because, in my opinion, smart tvs are overrated for streaming because of the limitation of available apps. I bought a 55 inch smart LG about a year ago and cannot even load HBO GO to my apps. Unless you want internet on your tv I recommend staying away from smart tvs and going with a top quality streaming device for less than $100. I love this 42 inch LG.
