Great TV, always liked LG products, phones, disc players, etc. Only bad thing was 6 years later a couple of the light diffusers in the screen had fallen off, so have 2 white spots on the screen. If fixed would still be a great tv!

like it, good picture, nothing different nothing special

This is the second LG television I have purchased and both it and the first one I purchased in 2012 are still working well and am very pleased with them.

This is a great bedroom TV, there are plenty of adjustments to set the image to the environment the TV is set in, sound is pretty good for a thin flat screen, the only issues are, and there are hundreds of reviews online, and on other retailers sites, 1) that you have to hit the power button on the remote 6 to 10 times for the TV to come on, and 2) this may not really be an LG problem, but out of all the other brand TV's I have in my home it's the only one having this problem, there is no code on any of my Comcast Xfinity remotes that will work with this TV.

I originally bought this TV for a basement unit for my kids to use. After they hardly used it I moved it to my bedroom and was shocked at the quality of the picture compared to the old Sharp LCD. The remote is easy to operate, the controls are also very simple. The only downside is the lack of inputs and outputs. I have a sound bar that had optical, coax, and analog. The TV only has optical. It also only has 2 HDMI ports. So back to Best Buy for a cable.

I bought this TV to replace a 2009 Samsung 42 inch LCD and to my amazement this TV ( LED ) did not come close to the great look of the 2009 Samsung I was replacing. The picture on the TV had a grainy look to it and if you adjusted the sharpness in the settings to try and get rid of the grainy look it would just about blur the people and things on the screen.. I tried all kinds of changes to the picture settings and nothing really made much of a difference. What a complete disappointment this TV has been .. Crisp clear picture , great sound and although it doesn't advertise this , it has three audio outs on it. One optical digital out , one analog optical out and one RCA out if you need to use the RCA plugs.. The Samsung is an Amazing TV .. Stay far away from this LG TV.. Some models may be good but this one is pure garbage !!!

When I saw this top rated TV go on sale, I could not believe it. This is a top rated TV, and when you hook it up and watch it, you will know why. Great sound and picture. This is a great value.

After having my old TV for about 2 years it was time to change. Being an lg brand and at a good price this was a good purchase for a new TV.

I am surprised that this TV got so much 5 stars. I bought this mainly of brand name and price. Surprise to find that screen has patches of whites (when you have dark scene). This started to happen to my 9 year old Samsung and Sony TVs, so I know that it is not normal for new one. I called LG a/s and they came home to replace the screen. Same problem. That is when I realized that it is TV itself. This TV also has problem of finding channels, occasionally showing deleted channels, and takes 5 seconds for some channels to appears. I don't think this TV will last 10 years as my Samsung and Sony did. I will never buy LG TV again.

Back light/panel went out. Spent 600 in 2013 on this and neither Best Buy or LG would offer me any kind of help since it was out of warranty. I understand the warranty being expired but I would not recommend this product to anyone nor will I be buying LG ever again. I have an old Vizio from like 7 years ago that is still going strong this should have lasted more than 2 years.

I ordered this TV online. It was delivered on the expected day--but missing four screws. Not the end of the world... but then: I called Best Buy to see if they could order more screws, or replace the tv. They said no. The associate said I could "just buy more screws at a hardware store, for like, $1." Aside from the abysmal customer service, it turns out these elusive screws aren't sold at ANY of the hardware stores in my area. I've been a Best Buy customer for years. Not anymore!

HAD MY TV A YEAR AND A HALF AND IMAGE WENT OUT. WILL COST $250 TO REPAIR AND LG DID NOTHING TO HELP. I HAVE 5 OTHER TVS AND NEVER HAD ISSUES TILL I BUY LG. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS ISSUE EITHER....GOOGLE IT....MANY MANY OTHERS.

Generally, I have bought Samsung products and this TV is great with all the features I like and need.
