I was looking for a new HDTV that combined a great price with high quality. I'm a fan of LG and their quality did not disappoint. The picture quality and sound are great. I did eventually hook this up to my surround sound system but out of the box the sound was solid.

Very impressive for the price. One of the things that's rarely mentioned is its OTA capability. I've placed this TV alongside a Samsung and the LG pulls in every local (41) OTA channel, while the Samsung pulled in 3. Excellent TV if you're ready to cut the cable.

After I went to Consumer reports and the online review provided by Best Buy, determined that the price and the discount provided by Best Buy when compared with other vendors was the best company from whom to purchase the TV. My choice was proven appropriate as the TV was all that was described. I certainly knew the product from past experience as I'd purchased an LG from Best Buy in the past.

I absolutely love my new tv! The 42" screen is crystal clear and displays pictures beautifully. It is very thin also which is good for my small apartment, so it doesn't take up much space. Definitely worth the money!

This purchase was made for my mother who disliked the flat screen televisions. She had no choice- the tube television was null and void. I was pleased when she called and said how clear and nice the picture is. The Best Buy staff in Reynoldsburg, Ohio were extremely helpful as I reside in Michigan and my mother in Columbus, Ohio. Everything they promised was done. Very satisfied.

This is a great television for a den or large bedroom. Other reviews mention bad picture, but I found if you use the menu to customize, the picture is beautiful. Others complained of poor sound and I did not find that to be true. My unit has a rich sound which fills the room with plenty of more volume numbers to go. This is my first LG tv and I wonder why I waited so long.

I have been a fan of LG products for quite some time so when I needed a new television, I knew what brand I was going to choose. The 42 inch LED HDTV is perfect for my room. The colors and the picture are amazing.

I like the TV. Great picture. Simple to use. No headphone jack so have to use an optical to analog converter.
