I would have to agree with some of the other reviews that the sound is so so. I guess with a tv that slim it may be heard to cram decent speakers in there. We have this in a bedroom but if you were going to use it for a main tv I would suggest a sound bar.

Good HDTV for the price

Great bargain at $280. Picture quality is good as it is not as crisp during transitions. Refresh rate was 60hz and that's what hurts the picture quality, but the price point is well worth it.

TV is just as good as the reviewers said it was.

I ordered a 42" LG from Best Buy and it was delivered exactly as promised. My son "hooked" it up and it has been wonderful. The sound and picture are great and I am very happy with my choice.

Very pleased with this TV

Sound quality is fine though a sound bar wouldn't hurt if you really want a "theater" experience. If you don't care about having a Smart or 4D TV, this is a great choice.

If picture quality is your main concern then this is the best TV in that price range. Similarly priced sets that offer Smart features do not have the same picture quality. If your looking for a good smart TV in this price range I recommend the non 4k Vizio M series. Really happy with that purchase as well.
