Best TV/gaming monitor I’ve owned to date. Beautifully crisp and vibrant picture. Has the features you’d want in a high end gaming monitor: 4k 120hz, g-sync, freesync, VRR, ALLM, very low input lag, Dolby Vision, great HDR etc.

Replaced my computer monitor. 120hz 4k gsync oled. Colors are fantastic. Blacks are perfect. Huge upgrade that fully utilizes my desktop 4080. Wall mounted very easily due to being very light-weight.

Super crisp picture and I use this with Apple TV so my sound is through my AirPods. Absolutely love the picture quality - upgraded from a Samsung Series 5. I don't love the LG remote, it's clunky and the cursor has lag. I use the Apple Siri Remote 99 percent of the time. Super thin TV; I use it on the stand not mounted. Price was decent; hoping for price drop during Black Friday. LG makes a great OLED. I'm glad I did the Total membership so this TV has extended coverage. I do worry about burn-in but try not to leave anything on screen too long. I like the Smart interface and apps. Seems very up to date and the software recently updated, so seems like LG is staying on top of ever-changing TV user needs.

Preface: This is a Christmas gift. It's not for me. I am bias, since i value, value. And you don't buy a C3 for value. You buy it for the experience. Good: If you want the best looking panel with 120hz, this is it. The magic remote is like a wiimote without the infared sensor which is super neat. OS is buttery smooth. The blacks are black. And it adds contrast & outlines whatever else is on the screen & you can see the difference. Bad: I put this next to a 4k Insignia. And the C3 is 4 times the cost. And it does not look 4 times better. Probably twice as good when you factor in the refresh rate, but that's subjective. What isn't subjective is getting the C3 to run 4k 120hz with a series X. You have to update the TV, reset it & update some settings on the box. Be prepared to spend $1000 on a TV that doesn't work as it should out the box while you scour reddit & YouTube for a fix. Ridiculous. Thoughts: Definitely not worth it. But it's for my kid. He currently games on a QHD 144hz. Which is plenty IMO. But if you want a little more quality panel, with a little bit better resolution at double the frame rate, you're easily paying double if not triple the cost, depending on your current panel.

The TV obviously has an amazing picture quality, my gaming monitor is way brighter, 1000+ nits but this TV looks better because it's an OLED, not some other, inferior tech. The only thing I didn't like about it is its legs, they don't look or feel like a quality item, the batteries for the remote were completely flat out of the box as well and everything included with it feels somehow cheap. Also, as a setup, there are WAY too many options to choose from and advertising stuff to agree to and turn off. The so-called "AI" is everywhere, even though I can't imagine any form of Artificial Intelligence that would fit inside a TV or be useful once inside it. In any case, I am very happy with it, not with the amount of advertising crammed into it or with how laggy and slow the smart TV part is, however, even without any calibration, this is, by far, the best-looking 42 inch TV on this planet, with sub-oar sound quality.

LG OLED 42" is a beautiful TV. The colors are vivid and clear. The blacks are truly black. The border surrounding the picture is almost nonexistent. It took a little effort to get the picture to my liking, as the colors out of the box were a little to vivid. It took a little while to get used to the remote and on screen menus as it was different than my Samsung TV. Overall it is the best TV that I have had.

I’ve been researching this TV for a while. I’m a casual gamer, but I do play some games that benefit from having a good monitor. I found an open box deal on this TV and I am more than pleased with it. The picture quality is incredible and all the game optimizer settings allow you to fine-tune your picture based on the content you’re playing. This TV is absolutely worth it for anyone who values amazing picture quality without sacrificing performance.

Got it home and fresh out of the box and was blown away from the design. I have it on a desk and primarily use it only for gaming and I couldn’t be anymore happy with this tv. 4k120 gaming and all of the settings are amazing. The picture quality is beautiful and I’m noticing things in games I’ve beaten before that I haven’t noticed before in terms of detail. the superb HDR and Dolby vision are quite the spoil to my eyes. So far this feels almost future proof to my wants and needs for gaming. Would recommend big time!!

The LG C3 is the best TV I’ve ever had. The picture is incredible and opening apps is very fast. It’s also perfect for gaming. I love using the game optimizer feature when I connect my PC via HDMI. The four HDMI 2.1 ports are another plus. The eARC/ARC works perfectly as well. I look forward to using this TV for years to come. Highly recommend.

Upgraded my desk setup from a 1440p OLED ultrawide, and it's been worth every dollar. The screen is gorgeous and about as big of a screen as I can comfortably use as a monitor. Gaming on the LG is fantastic and the large screen feels very immersive. For anyone else considering a 42in TV as a computer monitor I highly recommend doing it and going for LG.

Great TV with plenty of features and fantastic image quality. The per input remote fuctions is brilliant. The remote is very good but is the area LG needs to work on. There needs to be dedicated media controls like play, pause, forward, rewind, stop. Also needs TV controls like last channel, and favorite channels. Backlight feature and remote finder from TV unit would be nice as well. Rear panel cover does not handle HDMI plugin devices well,

I’ve Owned an LG CX(older model) to this one and I gotta say, the CX is just amazing at gaming, and movies with those perfect blacks thanks to the oled panel, bought the C3 since I wanted a 42 inch for my pc, it’s got even better picture than what was already great with the CX, it’s brighter, colors pop more, especially in Dolby vision and just HDR content. If you’re a gamer or love movies and watch well any show on HBO where the scenes are 90% dark, this is a great TV for you

LG C3 OLED tv is the best price per $ TV I have purchased . I originally purchased it to replayed a damaged 32 monitor I use with my desktop pc. With some in APP settings to prevent it from having Burn in i was able to run most of my games at 4k with the most sharp images. Recently the TV received a software update that allows me to stream/play Xbox games through the Xbox- Gampass app using any Bluetooth controller.

The LG EVO is an incredible TV, especially for a low lit room. Itself adjust the color according to the brightness in the room and it’s the perfect TV for me because I have medication that make my eyes light sensitive. It’s a huge upgrade from the oldest Samsung 4K TV I had

Simply one of the best OLED TVs on the market at a very affordable price, I really recommend it, I can even say that the G4 only has more brightness but in reality I would say that it is a C3 2.0, because it has the same quality and image I even think that the C3 has better brightness control over the g4, I hope my comment helps you

I had a 55in LG oled c1 for years that I used as a gaming tv. I recently gave that tv to a family member and was in search of a new rig. I didn’t want something as large but definitely wanted oled for its low response times and true blacks and high hdr contrast. I tried this out and was pleasantly surprised. Looked great, no ghosting in fast paced settings. Turns out I needed something a little bigger, my eyes aren’t what they used to be. So I returned this to get the 48in lg b4 oled. I would’ve kept this tv otherwise. If you are considering a 32in oled gaming monitor this would be a great alternative for a few hundred dollars cheaper. I had my last one for about 4 years and it never let me down, and I used it for some long sessions. Don’t worry about burn in, just do the pixel cleaning and shut it off when not using it. These panels hold up when you take care of them. If you can get them on sale all the better.
