This product is hard to use. The color is fine, but it has too many features, shows, and channels that I don’t need, which clutter the screen. The most important functions are difficult to find and use. For example, I can increase the volume with the “+” button on the remote, but lowering the volume doesn’t work. I have to go to the front of the unit to find a button, and pressing it slightly harder changes to another setting. The remote is also annoying because the cursor keeps moving on its own. This is very frustrating. The manual is not easily available and must be downloaded. While I understand technology is evolving, the design should also consider users who are not tech‑savvy, especially seniors. It will be good to have a simple mode such as one-click settings that hides unnecessary shows and channels. Fewer buttons with clear labels. clear volume control. stable remote, no moving cursor unless enabled. Easy access manual upon delivery in the box with step-by-step instruction.

Picked this up a few weeks ago and it’s honestly been amazing. The picture quality is top-tier—super crisp, deep blacks, and colors just pop without being overblown. I’m mainly using it as a monitor, and it’s perfect for that size-wise. Text is sharp, no weird scaling issues, and it handles motion really well, especially in games. The build quality feels solid but not overly heavy, which I appreciated when mounting it. Only 22 pounds or so, so it doesn’t need a crazy mount setup. The UI is snappy, and the remote is actually useful (not something I say often). No real complaints so far—just a solid OLED panel that does exactly what I wanted. If you’re debating between this and another display for gaming or even work, I’d say go for it.

I looked at several brands of OLED tv's and chose the LG for two reasons. First, I felt the color on the LG was more realistic as the other brands seemed more saturated. Second, the LG has an optical output for a sound bar and the other brand did not. I found the LG setup to be fairly intuitive though it took me longer than I expected. The end result has been great. I really enjoyed watching the first game of this year's World Series if 4K. The images and sound were terrific.

Purchased a 42" LG OLED evo AI 4K UHD TV to replace a 1999 102 pound Sony Trinatron. WOW!!! can't believe how technology has advanced. The picture clarity, color and depth is truly amazing. Using it with a DirecTV satellite dish at the moment but can't wait to start using it for streaming. Purchased an LG soundbar to accompany it. Sounds amazing.

I have to say entering into the smart tv market was a little scary with so many brands with great pricing out there. But after diligently reading reviews and talking with smart tv owners I found this purchase to be worth every penny. Truly amazing color and the endless free channels, WOW. However, I strongly recommend pairing with good speakers like the Sonos era 100’s.

My second LG and each gets better. Great picture and features. Not crazy either remote - and LG native options - but this appears to be a common problem with companies adding stuff to make it “smarter” . But I still love the TV and I would easily do it again.

Incredible picture, incredibly customizable picture, plus unintrsive AI integration that can easily be switched off. "AI smart sound" is pretty helpful but I won't touch the AI Smart Picture. 4 HDMI ports and even ps3 and Wii u look great at 720p with the brightness on this thing.

I've been searching for a monitor for a long time, especially needing a good one for work and my semi-professional photography interests. I bought the C5 model, which I think is one of the best value-for-money options right now, and I'm very satisfied with it now. Thank you.

Purchased this LG TV to use as a monitor for my M4 Macbook Pro. Once I got the settings dialed in and an Ultra High speed HDMI cable, I was blown away by the image and text clarity of the screen. I use it 8 hours a day for work and for the occasional gaming session with my Switch 2 and the quality puts a smile on my face. Highly recommended!

I use this as my TV and monitor for computer. It has a great picture and speakers are decent. I like that I don’t always have to turn on my pc when I just want to watch a movie or sports. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new monitor that wants tv features.

I bought the lg c5 42 inch oled to use as a monitor for my computer. The colors are vibrant with the glossy screen and you can’t beat playing games in 4k at 120 mhz!

I bought this to use as my main monitor with my pc. Checks all the boxes. OLED is such a huge leap over typical ips monitors in terms of color and vibrancy. 4k capable of 120hz refresh rate. 42” is perfect in terms of display resolution for 4k. Purchased a dual monitor arm to mount this and my older 32” monitor. It was on sale for $800 when i bought it, but the price will keep dropping as this is last years model
