Constantly drops Hulu connection on WiFi

Constantly get connection error messages while watching Hulu. Every 30 seconds to 2 minutes Hulu drops the WiFi connection when streaming TV shows. We have contacted LG, Hulu and Best-buy as well as our internet provider to no avail. (It is not a problem with our network, as our Samsung TV streams Hulu just fine). The only option they give us is to send off the TV to LG. The TV's picture is nice, but that doesn't matter when you can't even watch it. Netflix and web browser do not have any issues dropping connection. Very disappointed, I purchased this as a gift for my family and we can't even use it.

I received this TV yesterday and have been on hold for a total of 7+ hours between last night and today and I am yet to come into contact with a real person. Finally got through a representative and they basically said call LG. The Geek Squad membership I paid for doesn't matter. The fact that I purchased from Best Buy doesn't matte. Straight out of the box, the LCD was damaged. I'm appalled at how this was even allowed to be shipped to me. Geek squad was unhelpful, online customer service was unhelpful. If they send me a crappy TV it shouldn't be my responsibility to try to figure this out! Never buying from best buy again.

We always had buy LG TVs and this one was a disappointment. The screen started having dark shadows and I’m currently waiting for LG to repair it or what ever it is they’re going to do. I waited a month for the tv to get here and only enjoyed it for a week before I had to report it as factory damage or w.e ...

I bought this open box TV thinking that I will be saving some money. When I opened the box with security tape from Best Buy, I was shocked to see that the TV screen broken at top. Still can't believe it was from "Best Buy"!!!! How can they spend time re-packing such an item?

Bought this 43" 4K TV on sale for $230 just before Thanksgiving 2019 after our 10 year old Samsung HDTV finally died. What drew me to this TV was the very good "best buy" CR rating, and the fact that it has a Component input (rare these days) that we use for our original Wii game console. And this input has a great picture. Setup was easy enough and the TV immediately did a couple of software updates. LG's webOS platform for apps is not nearly as robust as Apple or Android but I found a few useful apps like Weather nation and You Tube Kids. You can rename all your input sources. The picture is outstanding and broadcast TV with our antenna is picking up more OTA channels than our old Samsung, and they appear to be more stable. Very pleased since we don't have cable. It has a very nicely arranged Guide function that displays a good deal of info on current and upcoming shows. This model does not record anything, not surprisingly. The remote is rather cramped and not backlit, but I've seen worse. I prefer to use my Sony learning remote and programmed in the few functions that were missing. Very pleased with the sound from TV speakers, which is loud enough and not tinny sounding (much better than my mother's new Samsung 50"). Most newer TV's figure you are going to use a Soundbar for enhanced audio which is why you only get a TOSLink digital/optical output (none of the models I looked at have analog or even a headphone output). We have an old Stereo and needed to buy a cheap digital to analog converter box ($15 online) to pipe sound into it. And it works fine, even has an audio offset function to sync audio from the internal speakers with the Optical output. And yes, this model allows either or both. Of note though is when using only Optical out the volume is fixed, meaning the volume control from TV remote does not work, so you still need to use two remote controls (bummer). Perhaps a firmware update will address this (doubtful). Very pleased with this LG UHD TV, would recommend it.

I waited a bit to give this TV a fair review instead of a quick first opinion. I want to start by saying I first ordered one delivered and when it came the picture was cracked, My local Best Buy replaced it with ZERO hassle. The legs were a bit tough to get on and steady but seem ok. The TV is pretty light compared to my previous one of the same size, like half the weight, which was nice. Setup was pretty quick and easy, even connected it to my Alexa with little effort. For some reason it kept losing the wifi connection for the first couple of days but lately it's been staying so i'm not sure what the issue was. The picture is really nice, especially for the price and sound is good but I added a sound bar for personal preference. If you are looking for a nice TV for a small to mid size living room or bedroom this is a great choice.

We found this TV very easy to setup and get started using it. We did buy a swiveling stand for it because the table it sits on was narrower than the attached TV feet. Remote works well, but it would be nice if more of the buttons were labelled with words instead of mostly pics, so it would be more user friendly for the elderly person who will be using it most (although it seems he's picked up most of the operations pretty quickly). Anyone used to a normal modern remote would not have any problems. The on-screen menus are pretty intuitive and are fairly easy to read. Some wording could be a little larger to make it easier. It has a good number and variety of inputs, more than many brands in the same price range. Real satisfied with the picture quality and color for the room it's in. (Overall, It may not be as good as a Sony we have, but for average viewing it's really nice.) In general, I recommend this TV very highly for a good small/medium size tv room.

Great Picture Quality for the Price

I was shopping for an inexpensive flat screen tv and decided to check out the ones at Best Buy. There were so many different sizes and brands, that I sought out help from one of the sales people. The fellow that helped me knew his stuff. He explained the pros and cons of all the different lower cost TVs. We narrowed it down to two 43” TV sets. I am prone to usually pick the cheaper of the two at this point. That was when the sales person said that he would recommend the LG set, for its quality and reliability. He also said that they received more returns of the other brand. When I shop, the quality to price ratio, is most important. I chose the LG. He was right. Not only was the picture quality great on this set, but the directions and setup was very easy to follow. The set is also very light in weight. I would recommend the LG 6 4K - 2160p - smart - 4KUHD TV with HDR to anyone who wants a really good quality picture for a very reasonable price.

At this price point, including a discount, this TV is formidable. Buyer reviews confirm this, despite the lukewarm reception for this set from the experts. As is the case with Rotten Tomatoes, I prefer the audience reviews to the those of the nitpicking critics. It may take a while to get accustomed to the user interface, but once grasped, there’s a lot of adjustments that will allow you to customized the look across all genres of programming. The pre-set picture values are acceptable, but slight tweaks to these settings are available, and will yield really pleasing results. When accessing each picture choice, first read the pop-up explainers to get some idea of what is going to happen, then try it yourself. You can always do a factory reset for that particular picture mode. I bought my first Sony Bravia in 2008 for a lot of $$$. Great set, but nowhere near the look, functionality and price of this panel.
