I purchased the 43 in due to my eyesight not as good as it use to be. I previously had a 32 in. I'm enjoying the tv, however with my remote control and the cable remote control I haven't figured out how to use one remote. I need to program. I turn it on/off/volume with tv remote and change channels with cable remote.

This 1080p one is a particularly good one and, ironically, better than their new-fangled 4K version. I've played with technology, user interfaces, and graphics since my days doing so at Apple. Sometimes technology runs amok. That is the case with all 4K HDTVs (not just LG's). With 4K I see sheen on hair, lighting details, and other distracting details I would not see in person. Not good. The LG 4K version has a fancy wand-waving pointer that's difficult to use. The 1080p's conventional remote. And the blacks are terrible in the LG 4K version (worse than with other 4K brands). I like LG. I really like this LG. Many people won't consider why too much resolution is not necessarily a good thing.
