I bought 2 of these, going to get a third. If you configure these per the settings here: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/um7300/settings You won't be disappointed when using this as a 43in 4k computer monitor. If you sit too close you'll see a small black inner border that gets a little annoying but with underscan you can move the image inside of that (with a small hit on sharpness depending on how you do it). Highly recommended if you want a 43in IPS computer monitor for 1/3 the cost.

The rtings reviews brought me here. Wanted a large format display that would also let me run at 4k. HDR works in Windows 10. Make sure to set the HDMI input to 'PC' to eliminate lag. Speakers dont have a lot of bass, but for what I do they are a lot better than other PC speakers, not including studio monitors. I have mine wall mounted above my desk to save more space.

So I finally bought my first 4K TV. After month of debating on when I would take the leap of purchasing a 4K TV. I came across this LG TV. The quality and features got my attention. I was initially gonna wait till Black Friday, but I had forgotten about the Labor Day sales.

I don't know much about TVs just wanted to upgrade from a 32 inch. This LG TV is great especially w/ the magic remote. I was a bit worried it wouldn't fit on my little tv stand from IKEA but it did. Another plus would be the discount. I got it in "Excellent" condition. No problems.

I hooked up my TV as manual instructed. Worked fine at first. After a day or two, there was no picture and ONLY coloured vertical lines on screen. I have contacted LG support group. They are investigating. I would ask Best Buy to allow me to return to nearest Best Buy center (zip 23462) for a replacement or full refund. Thank you.

We bought this TV at a very good price at Best Buy. It is replacing a 42 inch Panasonic plasma which had a great picture. This is a noticeable improvement. The 4K videos on You Tube look terrific (though not as good as the LG OLED in the family room--no surprise!!!). The upscaled HD sources look great. It actually isn't that hard to configure (though I was already familiar with LG from the other TV). The Dark Room Expert mode yields very real fleshtones and clear details. You can change other settings to tweek the picture to your liking. The magic remote makes this easy. I can't comment on the audio as we hooked this up to a 7.1 surround sound system. The smart apps are a little cumbersome to get to but it's tolerable. For the price, to get this much quality is amazing especially if you think back to what HD TV's cost when they first came out. This is well worth it and LG has five star quality.

Upgraded from an old Samsung and boy was it a night and day difference! I only use it to game on my PS4 and the added HDR feature is a bonus! Being a smart tv, so many apps come included which makes it amazing for those who stream services like Hulu or Netflix. The magic remote is a huge plus!

My video review: https://youtu.be/zwkG5IQruHE I love this product. It's a great mix of Value and Price - which is really hard to find these days. I feel I got more for what I paid for...and the reason I say that is because I had bought the OLED C9 version TV before this; however, things changed and I needed to return that $1500 TV...I had liked the picture quality and software that the OLED tv had so I went ahead and looked for an LG. I found this TV and realized that it functioned like the OLED in many ways. Yes, the panel is different but it's got a similar look/feel. This TV has an IPS display at size 43", 55" and 60"...for some reason size 50" is NOT an IPS display...so you wanna make sure that you get an IPS display size because the colors and viewing angles are much better. Certainly, the black levels are way different than an OLED; however, I feel that this TV looks really great for the price. I think having an IPS display really helps because I also have a Samsung non-IPS TV (55") which doesn't look the same. The depth in colors is missing (but that's a 3 year old TV). I'd recommend this TV for anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money or needs something temporary. If you need something LONGER TERM and you can spend more money, then, maybe take a look at the higher end models. If you want an OLED but think they are too expensive, but you have the money/means to buy one, then you should probably get an OLED; but, you need to understand that an OLED will demand different usage from you. You need to know how to not cause burn in...but even then, you'll cause some burn in over time. Also, over time OLEDS kind of fade...so there's that. Here are two other alternatives: TCL is coming up with a cheaper OLED soon, so you could take a look at that...I'm sure they'll skimp out on some type of quality...who knows what the failure rates will be. Or, you can wait for the Samsung micro led stuff which is suppose to act very similar to OLED. Personally, if I had a better living situation, I would probably get the OLED TV because it looks way too good to pass up. And Having that amazing picture quality is kind of a treat. You see content differently on those TVs. But, as for now, I dont spend more than this and I don't have a living situation which can support a larger TV yet..so, this 43" TV fits the bill perfectly. Coming from using an OLED for a few months, I felt that this TV certainly had a different panel but I didn't compromise too much on quality. It feels that the only thing I'm missing is the contrast ratio. Which is a good feeling to have for a TV which costs $300 or so vs $1500.

Replaced Samsung 40” that went bad. Good tv, does what it should. Goes with the 49” version I bought during the holidays. Vast array of apps available through their App Store. Plays well with LG sound bar for the most part, though sometimes loses the Bluetooth connection to it. Good internal speakers too, really the need for the sound bar only for the extra bass. I especially like the magic remote. I like that feature of all the LG TVs. Easy to just point what you need. Alexa included with the remote, but I’m more old school and don’t want to be talking to a tv, rather just point and click.

Best Buy price matched so I saved about $100 and feel I got a really good price on a really good set over the comparable Samsung. For me, the LG definitely has better clarity/picture and total sound range than the Samsung. The sound is noticeably way better and stronger plus I have the USB & HDMI options I wanted with the LG. The picture quality is sharp, clear and distinct and I know other reviews mentioned constant system updates after initial set up but the set I got was a "fresh" made/mfr. date set, maybe a month old and it's only had one update after set up and that's been it after having it set up for a month. I think Samsung's TV menu option and selections are easier to access and understand but that may be because I have other Samsung sets and was use to how Samsung menu options work. If you do over the air TV antenna access (vs TV cable or sat.), yet have high speed internet, LG makes available (if you choose to add at the time of set up) their own internet channels which are outstanding and really make having over the air channel capability a super good deal and less likely to miss having cable TV so much. (These channels aren't available on Samsung smart TVs) And although you may not have things like ESPN with over the air but you do have about 100 additional internet movie, independent, cooking, fashion, news, travel, jazz, etc. channels making you less likely to miss cable/sat TV. The remote control is pretty unique in that it functions both like a computer-type mouse (on screen pointer) as well as the traditional button/toggle selection capability. Initially I found the mouse capability to be a bit awkward because the shape and design of the remote is almost backwards in shape to a "normal" TV remote. But now after having used the remote for a few weeks, I kinda like the mouse capability that will "automatically" appear if desired as I can do things a bit quicker rather than having to toggle/tab through all the selections to get to what it is that I want or need to do. I research my product buys of such equipment pretty thoroughly and I'm most pleased with selection of this particular LG.

I own series 7 Samsung and this one, I own also older LG and Samsung TV's, WebOS that originated in the unsuccessful palm pre smartphone from 2009 is the best smart TV OS, this TV comes with the magic remote that's works like air mouse/magic wand sort of thing, really takes advantage of the OS, the picture is good but if you really into deep blacks go with Samsung, if you into easy of use and enjoying your smart TV features go with this one.

I really, really like this TV. Picture is sharp. Settings easy to navigate. Magic remote is both cool and functional. I use the LG app on my phone often. Casting or mirroring is extremely easy. This does not come with wall mount. Specs say yes to stand, yes to mount. I expected a wall mount. That's not why I wouldn't give a perfect score for the TV though. I'm not happy with the channel guide. Maybe I'm used to the guide with Dish Network. I'm able to use the Dish guide, if I want. But not with the magic remote. I have to switch between remotes. That's annoying. It's possible that I haven't figured it out yet. If so, then it should've been explained better in manual.

Excellent 4k UHD TV for the price, I had a 55" LG Oled that was absolutely incredible in it's own right and wanted a smaller 4k TV that was comparable without breaking the bank. This TV has pretty much everything my other one had except for Dolby Vision, which is understandable considering the price. Excellent picture for movies and gaming on my Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. Was easy to setup and am definitely glad I bought it. I highly recommend this model for anyone looking to upgrade from a 1080p tv.

This is a really nice television, sharp picture, wonderful color, great sound. The man who installed it also programmed our remote and showed us how to access the many nice features it has. The legs are wider and farther apart than the ones on our old TV so it took a little doing to fit it onto our TV cabinet. IF you plan to use a TV cabinet as opposed to a wall mount, it needs to be 33" wide and 10" deep for the legs to fit. We put a piece of shelving onto our cabinet so the TV could sit on it, but once done, it was nice and stable.
