Has component audio inputs.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm new to Smart TV's, and I bought this particular one because I wanted to connect my ancient Wii console to this TV and needed component analog video inputs. Very few smart TVs had that feature. I am pleased with the picture quality and the speed that apps updated on first use. The only drawbacks that I have come across so far is the internet browser app. It seems to go off into the weeds and no longer react to the remote control. The cursor disappears and it difficult to get back. Losing the cursor seems to be the Smart TV's fault. In the internet browser the remote responds differently to certain buttons than most other apps. When I try to watch videos through the browser it frequently fails to play them or stops in the middle of playing an ad and I have to manually hit the play button again. I'm not sure if it's the TV's internet browser itself, or the website that is to blame for that, but it appears that the necessary interface standards are not consistent between the two.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hesitated buying an LG TV, but I shouldn't have. This is a great TV, beautiful colors and a great collection of available channels. Great price, too. I've had it for 6 months with no problems.

Exceptional 4K PC Monitor
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, if you would like to use this as a PC monitor, go to rtings.com and see a review/guide to set this up for that purpose. As of 5/10/2020 this model is not there but it's mostly identical to 43UM7300xxx. The most important thing for you to set is to change your HDMI input's ICON as PC and name it as a PC - then it starts working 1:1 pixel matching mode. Also don't forget to set 'HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color' and 'Game Mode' to enable RGB 4:4:4 and lowest latency. Can't be happier with this for an awesome 4k PC monitor. I have tried TCL 43s405 (VA panel) which is also pretty good but this is better in terms of latency (this feels really like a monitor level latency) and view angle. One small thing is that I am working very close - within 2.5ft or so from the screen, the backlight is not right behind the LCD pixels so it looks a bit flotty around the edges which does not bother me too much. I also have tried Samsung's 55 curved for PC monitor and it was hard for me to set it up perfectly like this one. Considering the price and size, I am more than satisfied with this

Great PC monitor and cinema experience!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owed a 2017 model similar (without AI and magic remote) there is a noticable picture quality upgrade. Conected to my gaming PC you can do 1080p 120hz , 2k and 4k 60hz. Black and whites are much improved and the settings menu is more rich with options. Sound quality is more advanced as well. Can't say enough about these tvs for a gaming experience. Verily low input lag when adjusted correctly. HDR is better for this price range you can't really get any better. Webos is great and the remote is basically a point and click mouse. Love it!!

Excellent picture, features
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The advertised photos are a bit confusing - this is the 2020 version of the AI ThinQ -- a wonderful TV for streaming off the Internet. The picture is sharp and clear. The Web OS is one of the best and easy to learn and use. If you are an Apple family, you'll feel right at home. Unlike some of its competitors, it has a large enough CPU on board that switching between apps has only the slightest delay. The only obvious negative has been that it is easy to switch to the TV/antenna mode. I wish manufacturers would realize many purchasers no longer use Cable and make the wireless connection as a default.

Great TV for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this TV. It is in a bedroom with no external devices connected to it. It has a great selection of apps available to download from all the popular services. It has an LG Channels app that offers content from the some of the major networks. It's mostly news, but I watch it occasionally. Sound quality is fine from the built-in speakers. Picture quality is good, but I'm only streaming video so I'm probably not seeing the best it can do. Since this purchase, I've bought a second one for another bedroom. Very nice TV for under $300.

Good Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good TV for the price. A nice step-up from our old "non-smart" flat screen. Setup was pretty easy, color is really good, and we like the additional bells and whistles that our old TV lacked. The mouse pointer that comes from the remote is nice, makes typing and click to choose an app easier. Only downside is that you have to shake the remote rather vigorously to get it to appear on the screen.

New WFH monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PURE computer monitor. I have two 28 4k S brand monitors that I've been using for 2+yrs and I've been looking to upgrade my main display(s). I code and do general image and video work. No gaming on these two machines (I have a different gaming rig). Clear text, general backlight uniformity sitting about 30" away are my main concerns. Wanted a IPS panel, thought the direct light (non-edge) backlighting would work best (depth is not important). First impressions are great, about 5 hrs worth of staring at it :).
