I'm absolutely ecstatic about my 48" LG B5 because it is a fantastic, great, awesome, etc., OLED TV. I'm glad I decided to spend a little more to get an OLED after doing extensive research and deciding an OLED was definitely worth the money. Especially since I got my 48" LG B5 for a great price of $700 a week ago. The thing I love about OLED's is the ability to achieve perfect black levels that helps to create superb contrast that in return helps the TV to achieve incredible depth, clarity, color and detail that produces such amazing picture quality. And my B5 out of the box needed almost no tweaking to achieve the excellent picture quality that I find perfect for my viewing habits. The colors on the B5 are beautiful and bright and all colors just look correct. Now this entry level OLED doesn't get super bright (under 1000 nits) but it gets more than bright enough for my needs. Don't hesitate to buy this TV because you will not regret it at all. In fact, you're going to wish you went OLED sooner just like I did. P.S. All the pictures in my review were taken on my s25+ of my TV so you're looking at a picture of a picture and the B5 still looks amazing. Imagine how good it looks in person.

This my first OLED TV without coming in to a BB store and comparing it to the rest of the lineups. I bought this TV after reading about how truly black scenes can get and yes they do get to point zero. After watching various videos from different reviewers and also budget coming into play, this was for the the best bang for the buck money could get me before Black Friday. Hopefully the “48 won’t go below 630 otherwise I would advise to buy it with your eyes shut. The TV surprisingly gets loud so no soundbar is needed. Sound quality is standard, obviously not going to hear deep bass since no subwoofer is built in, like my U8k it replaced from competing brand an miniLED one which was no slouch neither. My room setup can be both total darkness or very bright with LED high powered grow plant light, so expect glare accordingly. I mostly got this because of my PS5 it truly makes a difference in dark scenes. Watching HDR content is such a delightful experience that I just wondered why I didn’t buy OLED before. The tv shows a popup on the top right hand corner if it’s HDR or Dolby Vision and Audio, just remember to change to highest best setting available. The operating system is OK I can’t expect it to be millisecond fast but LG has refined it especially with the wand remote. I haven’t really downloaded much just my usual to go apps. As far as ghosting or burn in fear, there’s options for the latter and I haven’t really noticed any ghosting, except in Halloween lol. To sum it up, if you need a console gaming TV for your personal room or to watch anything else you can’t go wrong with this “48. Get it under 700 is the best price yet. Fantastic picture and sound is great even without a sound bar. It’s lightweight and was easy to assemble the stand. Easy to set up and watch apps. Remote has a point feature which I like.

These B5 LG OLEDSwere exactly what I was looking for to enhance my sim racing experience. Upgraded from 32 inch 1440p monitors and couldn’t be happier. Wasn’t sure if I would regret not getting C5s, but in my dark room, I do not think I would be able to tell the difference. Everything hasn’t worked perfected with display port to hdmi adapters - 4k at 120hz with VRR enabled. Only negative with this TV so far is that the OS is a little slow, but luckily once they are set up, I don’t really have any need to access the menu system or even use the remote. Highly recommend!

Thw tv looks great and has high refresh rate. Using on console and pc and it is good.

Phenomenal TV. Best budget OLED monry can buy. Beats out the Samsung model that is slightly more expensive.

This is my first OLED and man the difference from this compared to my old lg 4k tv is life changing! The difference is night and day and everything is amazing! I also heard about people complain about OLEDS being only good for dark rooms but my room gets reasonably lit and it’s still pretty bright! Definitely brighter than I thought it would be and It’s also really great for gaming too with the 120hz panel which is what I was looking for and it works flawlessly while also looking stunning. Only thing that I dislike is that I’ve never liked LGs OS but at least it runs pretty smooth on this tv and everything has been working great. 100% worth the switch to OLED for anyone on the fence

Ok TV, colors and quality is 9 out of 10. Have easy set up, so far very happy.

The quality is so amazing. It’s also very loud on its own. It has zero to no glare. Perfect to watch action movies

Excellent Budget OLED. I would give it 5 stars however the interface is a bit clunky because of the amount of options you get with this TV. I guess that could be a pro but for my use it falls more on the Cons side. I find the Panel to be excellent and accomplish my needs.

I love this tv. I was afraid that the picture would not be the same in my home as it was in the store. I was wrong. Don’t sleep in this one!

I ordered online for in store pickup. Tv was ready and waiting. I installed it on a full motion wall mount. The TV is light and super thin has amazing picture quality. The smart functions are slow to act sometimes but I think that could be solved with future LG software updates since my old LG just recently started acting the same. I don’t know about the sound quality because I use a soundbar. All in all I would recommend

Our 8 year old Samsung 4k tv died. Since it would live in our bedroom, I was planning on buying an entry level tv, but saw this one on a massive sale and decided to buy it (my wife definitely was not happy that I spent $300 more than budgeted). This is our first OLED TV and my god, the difference between LED and OLED is significant and I am glad that I purchased it. The TV isn't the brightest, but since it's for our bedroom, I prefer the lower brightness compared to the other LG models. If I was purchasing for our living room, or brighter area, I would look into purchasing the C5 at least. Anyway, while listening to my wife say her peace about me spending more than anticipated, I mounted the tv and set it all up. I turned on the TV, put on her novelas and she immediate stopped. She sat down and said, "I see why you bought it". Happy wife, happy life. She is enjoying watching her novelas on this beautiful OLED tv.

The picture quality on this TV is great! Very crisp, clear and excellent color definition. OLED is definitely the way to go!!! Was very easy to set up & download all of my apps that weren't already preloaded. The remote is fabulous! Great TV at an even greater price!

This tv is awesome. Purchased for the bedroom. I have a 77” C4 oled and the picture on the 48” B5 is just as good. Easy setup, great sound and gorgeous. Buy it you will be glad you did. BestBuy did a price match for me today. What a great price!

Super low price on an entry level OLED tv with a great picture equals an excellent deal! It didn’t seem too dim to me, as other reviews have noted.

Great picture, deep blacks, satisfied for what I paid, $700.00. The next level up, c4, was $500 00 more, don't think I'd appreciate the difference unless the room was highly lit.
