Impressed with the quality & easy of use - previously a Panasonic owner. Ink on the buttons for the remote may rub off easily (already happening on my other LG TV from last year) so be aware. Easy enough for 1 person, 55" is a challenge, larger than that I would suggest 2 people for transport. Also MUST have an SUV that can lay down the 3rd row of seating or lays flat in the back of a pick-up, very large box, components are packed will in styrofoam. Have not seen a big NEED for AI usage.

Love my new LG OLED TV. I'm over 70 and find the navigation tools very responsive and user friendly. The sound is clear as a bell and the picture is an enormous improvement of my old Samsung LED flat panel TV. I did have it installed by Best Buy which was very helpful.

This model was marked down to make way for the new 2025 C5. I was also torn between a 55" and the 48" that I ultimately purchased. Not only was the C5 brighter, the 55" C4 (and larger) also had a "brightness booster" that was not included on the 42" and 48" models. I didn't know if I would have buyer's remorse. I also hadn't purchased a new TV in years, and the technology has changed a lot. After looking at a lot of different TVs, I bit the bullet and bought the 48" LG C4, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I was never able to view one this small in the store, but when I plugged it in, I was amazed at how good it looked. People tend to complain about the controller as well, which I found to be perfectly easy to use. I find the number of buttons annoying, as I have yet to use over half of them, but it is not the nightmare some would suggest. Anyway, watching 4K movies on this is mind-blowing. The clarity, contrast, color, etc, are beyond great. It feels like I am watching some old favorites for the first time.I would recommend this TV to anyone.

The color and resolution is stunning. I like when I turn on the TV the picture comes on without all those apps, etc that were on previous TV. The picture doesn't appear as quickly as I would like. Fewer wires are needed to connect. Can cast from laptop to screen with one click unlike previous screen connection. I like the one stand in center base of screen. Very user friendly to access user guide on the screen

Very high-end picture quality and the 144Hz PC gaming experience is top-notch. Seems like too much money to spend until you get it home and use it.
Sound quality is good for a TV, I paired mine with an LG Dolby Atmos sound bar and the sound is as good and room filling as all but the most serious audiophiles would require.

This TV is awesome! I needed an upgrade and it is so clear that it almost looks fake if that makes any sense. If you go check it out in store or know someone who has one you will understand what I mean. When watching shows it almost looks like you are there watching it happen in real life. The only minus I have for it (other than it costs more than other tvs…… but there is a reason) is that LG doesn’t have some of the tv apps that I would like to have. But you can just get them through a different app that they do have.
My eyes don’t like a lot of light so I have the brightness turned way way down but it still looks great!

Very pleased with this tv! I purchased this tv mainly to watch shows/movies but I recently hooked it up to my computer and gaming on 4k is amazing. Although there is a difference brightness wise when in Game Optimizer mode, it is not a big deal for me. The clarity and colors truly are jaw dropping.

We wanted an OLED television in large measure due to low power consumption. We were prepared for merely a good but not great picture. Surprise. This LG is sharp, clear. accurate and well saturated, and we are delighted.

Best Buy did a great job packing a shipping the product. The tv itself is great. I had a b4 and I enjoyed the brightness edge and jump refresh rate to 144. The remote feels good with all the buttons needed for the most part. Works great on a desk for gaming and viper usage. Only real omission I think is the next gen tv tuner. Very happy with the c4 performance and Best Buy experience.

This is my third LG OLED tv and it continues to be the best tv available in my opinion. This latest model has an amazing display and a brighter screen particularly in my sunroom on sunny days. My only wish is for a second HDMI eARC jack to enable me to connect both my Sonos Beam and control my Firestick with my Magic remote. Otherwise a great tv

This 48" LG is replacing a 5-year-old 50" Samsung 4k LED that stopped working without my permission. I have another 2020 LG 65" C series OLED and I can tell a huge difference between that and the new 48"! Screen size or tech updates, I'm not sure.
I deducted one star due to the fact that LG's setup process with a smartphone is WAY overly complex. I absolutely dislike that magic remote cursor flying around and wanted to add it to my smartphone app remote control. Expect to spend hours fighting your app if you already have the app set up with other LG products.
I got this TV for the quality and reputation of this TV, not the app or remote. In my opinion, this TV is 5-star plus across the board. I can say I'll never own another Samsung, 5 years until dead is unacceptable at any price point. TV manufacturers need to build quality products and should make us desire their products. With my experience on LG's 65 OLED we own, it was a no-brainer to select another LG product. Quality = Desire = repeat customer! Get that in your head TV manufacturers!
This 48" Picture quality, color, brightness, and blacks are all super great out-of-the-box! Fast motion is not an issue either. With the AI settings set to adjust on the fly with whatever content it gets, everything stays looking great.
Upgrading from the Samsung 4k LED to this LG 48" OLED is also a drastic improvement. I could not watch any flashing lights (police car lights in a night scene) or super fast-paced scenes. Those became too much for that TV to handle, to the point you could not understand what was going on. There were drastic changes between content too. Switching between HDR content to lower-resolution YouTube stuff was very noticeable. With this 48" LG OLED, all of those issues are gone!
I recommend LG TVs because I had an old LG 3D 1080P from 2010 something and that TV ran forever. I sold it to a friend and now they've been running it forever. It's still functioning great. That TV is pushing 15 years of service!
I am hopeful that the old saying still applies here, LG, "You get what you pay for."

I searched a long time for this TV. Shopped many places. Great TV with a fabulous price. The color is so vibrant. Great choice. I chose to pay for installation. So glad I did.
The entire experience from picking out the TV to having it delivered & set up was wonderful.

I’ve owned the CX, C2 and now the C4. I use this for both regular tv/movie watching as well as my desktop monitor. The upgrade to 144hz and better brightness has really made this the perfect screen for gaming.

Great TV. OLED has a color depth that I was pleasantly surprised to see. I went to a slightly larger screen (48in) which proved to be the right decision for my room. When the screen goes black, it is really black unlike my previous LED screen.

I've never seen a better picture, I primarily got it for my PS5 because I was using an older TV so in a smaller viewing area the 48'' is phenomenal. Will be purchasing all the different sizes for different areas of my house. Sound is great for what I need, don't even need a firestick or any other device to get all the apps, the TV has them or can download them all. Very impressed with this TV so far.

Amazing picture. OLED and LG gaming engine is incredible. Dark darks and bright brights. A must buy for home office and gaming if you don’t want a monitor.

Wow. Replaced a 17 year old Samsung (early days of flat screens). Technology has come a long way. We also own two other newer led tv’s. The LG C4 is a monumental upgrade from our other tv’s. The picture is amazing. The sound is very good (we removed our a/v receiver/speaker system to use the onboard TV sound. I like the TV sound better (quite good). Glad we spent a little more for the C4 OLED. Hoping it will last as long as our Samsung.
