This is NOT a "smart TV" but was an excellent value. Great picture and sound is just fine without purchase of a sound bar.

For its price this TV is an excellent bargain. Not only is the picture quality out of the box very good but the refresh rate is as good as most with 120hz because of its newer technology. I haven't seen any problems with any action movies or sports. It is also very light which made it easy to set up on top the entertainment armoire, about six feet high.

The TV has a very crisp picture. It was easy to set up. Very simplified, right now we have it on the provided stands but will eventually put it up on the wall. It will be a nice addition to our living room once it is on a wall mount. Very thin very elegant looking. The picture is amazing. The only thing I wish it had was one more HDMI port, it only has two.

Our old TV had a growing brown stain that resembled Queen Victoria! We bought the LG 49"because we have had an LG home theater for 7 years, and it's still performing well. The new TV is wonderful -- crisp, brilliant color, with lots of depth. We didn't realize that the sound was beginning to have problems on our old set until we had the new one up and running. The new sound is phenomenal. We had to call the Geek squad to hook up the theater due to changes in technology over the past seven years, but they were quick, knowledgeable (no surprise there) and very kind and helpful. I'll go with Best Buy again, for sure.

I purchased the LG 49" Flatscreen as a surprise for my husband, to watch the Pay-Per-View Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight. The design is simple and sleek, which we like and the picture quality is better than we expected! My husband loved the surprise and now he wants to put this one upstairs in the Master Bedroom and get a bigger one for the Family Room!

I bought this TV for my boyfriend for Christmas, and we both love it. The low profile edge is great and makes the screen of the TV appear larger. Set up was super easy and the sound is great after customizing the setting from the presets. The picture quality is clear with our HDMI and HD receiver. Overall a great buy and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality on a budget!

I was looking for a medium size screen for my tv room and saw this for a great price. We couldn't be happier with the picture quality and the sound is plenty good enough for everyday viewing. There are times during fast action sports that I think I can see slight motion blur, however my wife thinks I'm crazy! I would not hesitate to buy another one and think overall it's a great buy.

Bought this tv for my bedroom. Best buy price matched with walmart. Went on sale cheaper as a daily deal one week later. TV has very good color. Not sure of the sound ,,, using an av receiver. Only downside is there is a little blurring when fast action scenes occur (60hz refresh). I would recommend this tv. I have a LG 55 inch in my living room and the same great picture, but this has 120 hz, so no blurring.

I must say, I was not sold on the non-120hz refresh rate on this TV until I saw it in person.... LG knocked it out of the park with this TV. I picked this up on the DEAL OF THE DAY for a great price and replaced my older model flatscreen... 49" OF AWESOME now rules the wall in my living room.. Crystal clear picture and the sound isn't bad either.. BUY ONE TODAY !

I am more than satisfied with this purchase. The TV is extremely user friendly and easy to set up. The picture quality is great and I love the various options. The same feelings apply nicely to the sound. Both transition nicely between playing my Xbox, watching Netflix and watching a movie with surround sound. Overall, no regrets.

This is a great TV for the money. I got it on Black Friday and it was a steal. Beautiful Picture, great sound. The only issue I had with it is the stand. with it not being a center stand, I had issues finding a entertainment center to put this on. I ended up using my exsisting entertainment center and buying a long board to place on top to accomidate the TV.

I got this TV as a gift for my parents to replace the tube they were hanging on to. They didn't need any fancy SMART features or anything like that. Picture quality is good and the TV looks great on the wall. I had to knock it down 1 star due to the fat power cord head not fitting in the recessed outlet. Had to pickup another power cord elsewhere.

TV was a Christmas gift for a low technical couple. It was easy to setup and program. Picture was very good. But we had to adjust the TV stand. I expected a flat plat in the middle of the TV. This one has two legs not in the middle. But everything worked out. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another LG product.

This is the 3rd LG TV product I have purchased within the last year. All 3 are great products, and the quality and price were very competitive to other brands.

My fiance purchased this for me since we moved in together and he had his own but it went to our room. Also since we each own a ps4 it made sense to purchase a separate tv for my use and for guests. This TV certainly has lovely graphics and is a wonderful size for our small place. You can see it from almost any angle of our living room. Also, the graphics it produces while I play ps4 are wonderful, I think even our cat is impressed since he seems to stare at it when Im playing. Though it doesn't have any side buttons, there is a joystick underneath the tv. READ the manual and you'll see exactly where it is. Since it's LG Im hoping it lasts for a long time and so far since our purchase in December; here we are 3-4 months later and its still working like a charm.

The LG - 49" Class (48-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV that I purchased at Best Buy is a very good TV. Easy to set up on its stand and easy to program. The quality is excellent as is most LG products.

The picture is great, but the TV is not very loud. Needs to be cranked up to 100 sometimes for blu-Rays. The legs in the ends are also problematic if you don't have a long enough stand for it. But otherwise, it's great!

I was looking for a simple, large screen HD Panel for my 95 year old Father to get him out of the 32" Standard Def CRT. At first he did not see the reason to switch to HD. Until I turned on the new unit and tuned in a College Football game. Within minutes the old TV was out on the curb for recycling. This is not a smart TV ... But a good , easy to operate unit. The remote is not complicated and easy for him to navigate. This is a good medium sized unit. The picture is bright and clear. The sound clean. The price was quite reasonable. The All I can say is that he is glued to it and really enjoys it. I ended up buying a second unit for myself.

Love LG tv's . Easy to use and great picture. I have owned several LG televisions and they have all worked great . I refuse to change sonething that has been working for a while .

This is a nice TV for the money. It is nice and easy to set up and is very light and easy to move around when mounting on the wall. I recommend it highly. Good picture quality.
