LG has yet to disappoint me when it comes down to quality. Every monitor and TV I have owned by them have never had any issues. This TV has yet again hit the quality mark! The picture is amazing especially HDR like mode, but sadly that mode isn't for gaming, has a lot of lag. They do however have the game mode and yes, just yes, no ghosting, no input lag, nice clear image in motion!

I got this TV to replace a 9 year old off-brand regular HDTV that had developed dark shadows across the middle of the screen. I decided to upgrade to a 4K UHD Smart TV in a larger size (I went from a 43 inch to this 49 inch). I also DID NOT want an off-brand this time. After much comparison shopping and reading of reviews I decided on this TV over the more expensive options available, since I'm on a fixed income. Because it was on sale for $170 off the regular price I also splurged on an LG sound bar with a wireless sub-woofer for better sound than TVs generally produce. However, I did listen to the TV's sound alone and found it's not bad at all. I just prefer the richer sound I get with the sound bar. The installation, set-up, and connection to my WI-fi was very easy. I'm surprised by the reviews that complained about the color. Perhaps it was just the particular TV they received, or perhaps they were comparing it to their previous TV that they had become accustomed to. At any rate, I find the picture quality and color to be very nice, especially at this price. I do notice a slight "soap opera effect" on certain programs, but not on the majority of them, so it's really not bothersome at all. All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

Great price for this unit and set up was easy. Most difficult part was mounting the wall unit where my Bride would enjoy the good picture. I got it mounted, set up and have a happy Bride

We replaced an older regular HDTV with this one. After getting used to the 4K "up close look", we love, love, love this TV. Picture quality and color are so much better and even the sound is improved. We still have a sound bar with a bass woofer connected for super sound for movies and music. To me, the chime that goes up and down when turning the unit on and off, is one of the best little features. When using a cable remote, you can know for sure that the TV and cable box both turned off. This is our first LG, if we get a decent lifespan out of it, it will not be our last. Highly recommend!

The picture is excellent. Couple of drawbacks, no instruction manual provided and the support legs are flimsy.

I had been putting off buying a new tv for quite some time until my last tv suddenly burnt out. I haven't purchased a tv since about 2007 so I was concerned that it would be expensive. I was entirely wrong! Not only was this tv affordable but it was also bigger than my prior tv! I really love that this has all of my digital services on the tv itself so I no longer need an external device! The picture and sound for the tv are amazing!

Very sharp picture and easy to operate. Like the smart TV adavantage. The 49" TV fits perfect in our family room.

Have been looking for a new UHD tv for a while now. All the ratings for LG are great. Purchased this LG Sunday set up fairly easy but the picture,features, sound are fantastic. Was going to get the extra sound system but the sound is great right out of the box so I will wait and listen

This LG TV was a great investment as we wanted a TV in our bedroom without spending a ton of money. It is a Smart TV (which for the price point) was amazing, has a very good picture, and works extremely well. It also paired relatively easily with Apple Airpods so if you want to watch TV late at night without disturbing the other person you can,

We bought this TV to replace a 1080P Sony in one of our bedroom. The price we purchased it for was incredibly competitive. I can't say enough about the features. The ability to work with Alexa is also a plus. Finally the picture is excellent especially with UHD and HDR capabilities.

This TV was an impulse buy on Black Friday. The price and product combination were too good to pass up! The TV easily mounted with my wall mount, easily programmed. It works well with my DirecTV Genie console. Colors are realistic, detail is phenomenal, and the audio is excellent. I am very pleased with this LG TV! The only complaint I have are the software or usage and privacy notice updates. The update box stays on over your program until you update. It’s a little annoying, but manageable (0.1 star reduction).

We got this TV on clearance for $230 plus tax. It has been an absolute steal! A great name brand TV at this size and quality for that price. You can't beat it. So far so good only a few issues occasionally with WiFi connectivity but I'm sure that would be solved by hard wiring it to the internet!

Awesome 4K tv. Love the quality of the picture and ease of remote use. Only slight complaint is the stand/legs are on the very edge and would be more useful if they were located a few inches in from the sides or even better in the middle.

I bought this TV for my home office and have to say that I’m impressed with the picture and smart features that this TV provides. It has the same smart menu system as my OLED TV. This TV is an excellent second monitor for my laptop and it’s also great to watch news a d TV shows.

I am amazed at how much quality and performance LG has packed into this television. Picture quality is excellent. 20 watt sound system is more than ample to fill a room. Smart tv features are easy to set up and use. Note, picture was so dark I was ready to return. Found out after internet search that the power saver is present on. Turn off and the sun rises, day breaks and the colors pop.

Overall, this TV delivers great value for its price point. The resolution and colors are great for a 49" size. The dual speakers are more than adequate for most video/movies/TV shows but I did get a sound bar for it. The cons of this unit are the fact that it only has three HD I ports and one USB port but it does have one optical port as well. I The optical port is what my sound barnis on and it is excellent. Overall a great value for the price and I would glagly buy it again.

This lg 49 inch tv has a lot of features. 3 hdmi, one input for older devices. VCR, non hdmi devices. It has apps for internet. My sony 800 bluray player plays movies beautifully on it. I have it mounted on a tv stand. Complaints-it has adjustments for changing settings to color, brightness so on but you have to search for it. Same goes for other settings. So some people may get frustrated in trying to find menus they need. Picture color seems a little washed for regular tv viewing. but is at the most only 1080i for over the air viewing. Not 4k. In uhd bluray as I said above picture looks very nice. It is not top of the line picture. But still makes movie watching very satisfying. It is a bedroom tv and I was surprised by how well the speakers work. But I do have sound going through a speaker setup. 5.1
