I am an avid gamer. Usually I play on a 32 inch LG monitor with my Skytech Gaming PC and a 28 inch LG on my consoles. This LG 49 inch Nano is the closest to playing on a gaming monitor I have ever witnessed. If you have played on a high tech monitor then you know there is a big difference in quality, refresh rate, HDR10, and anything 120 FPS and higher. Dolby Vision is a nice feature as well. Oh! If you like watching 4K movies and Sports, it does well in that area as well. My games look and feel amazing especially fast paced Shooters and Racing games. This TV actually made me fall in love with Formula One 2020 all over again. There is a slight weird lighting with the whites at times but to be fair, I’m still learning at tuning this with my games perfectly. It’s a little thing that you don’t really notice after the TV has been on for several minutes. I just want to be fair and give as much information as I can think of. I did a lot of research, reading reviews and so on, there are a ton of TV options at this price point that are good choices, but as you compare all of the features and giving the quality and yes, I am bias, I do love LG, Samsung, and the newer Vizio’s have really stepped up their game up in the last few years but again, comparing features at this price point, hands down LG 49 inch Nano is the perfect gaming TV for me. You may be able to get a larger TV with other brands at this price of the Nano, but I’ll take a great quality 49 inch over a sub par 55 inch any day. I hope this review helps. Take care.

Purchase this TV for a next Gen console (PS5) and this TV is 100% true native 120hz refresh rate (rare). I know everyone talks about the local dimming issue but I think those are for indepth tv heads that notice every little change in picture even the minute Details, as for me I did turn it off but not much of a difference. This TV is intuitive and has more than you will need to play games how they were intended for these next gen consoles. Yes I know the PS5 will play 8k but we are to far from that at this time. You will spend an arm and leg maybe your first born to get your hands on a 8k TV. This suits me just fine.

I have this paired with an Nvidia Shield PRO. Screen Quality is crisp when paired with 4K content. Keep in mind this is not an OLED so it's array lighting can be noticeable with all black images like a stary sky. It's not distracting though. I would look up array lighting though before purchasing to see if this is something you're okay with. Other than that sound is impressive compared to Samsung TV's and has a good input response for video games. There's loads of visual features and sound features to accommodate various tastes. Viewing angles are also impressive. It's has Android TV and works well but like all TV's it's better to buy an external streaming stick that brings out the best qualities of a 4K television

TV is pretty nice. Here is the pros and cons Pros: TV is 4k 120hz. Has instant game response. (5.2 ms response) Has LG deep color. 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. HDMI 3+4 are your HDMI 2.1 ports. Has Variable Refresh Rate Playing the Series x and PS5 on it is buttery smooth. Can do 1080p@120hz, 1440p @120hz (for pc gamers) Magic remote feels like wii sensor. Feels good. Cons: Heavy Viewing angles are not great Glare destroys picture LG magic remote can be finicky App Store and apps could be confusing for older people If you are rocking a any 30 series graphics card, go with a higher hertz screen. Overall good TV. Mounted it and glad I did. Works well with my series x and ps5. Perfect for next “gen” gaming. Wouldn’t plug my pc into it cause it does not display enough hertz and response time is 5.2 ms. At $599 it’s a great deal. Had a 200$ gift card as well so this was a no brainer.

So, when I bought this I did not know it was essentially a gaming tv. I needed a 49 in tv for a cabinet, and the specs on this fit (a 50 inch did not). So, while this drove my tv decision, I am very happy with it for watching movies. LG does not send a real user manual for adjusting settings, which is a BIG negative to me (as an older, less intuitive adult). They also have no real help on their website. However, thanks to YouTube, I was able to make the necessary adjustments. Turning off “local dimming” is a MUST if you use this to watch movies or tv shows. The lights at the bottom, that move with darks scenes, will drive you nuts otherwise. Most people think the tv is defective and return it. It is not defective, it needs to be taken off the factory pre-set and adjusted. Again, go on YouTube, they will walk you though this step by step. The remote takes some getting used to as it works like a cursor and takes a steady hand at times. I have an Apple TV connected, and I find their interface more to my liking, but I am using both. You can use a click feature on the remote as well, which I find a little easier. Again, I am an older adult, and a little old school. As far as visually, I am very happy with watching this tv. Once I played with the settings, and applied to all inputs (a requirement to make this work right) it is a perfect tv for the price and for what I needed it for. You can pay a LOT more and probably get a much better tv, but for our streaming needs this works great for us.

This tv is amazing for PS5. Having the ability to stream 4K movies I own on VUDU is such an awesome feature too. I will say that movies and shows that are really dark have a little bit of grays coming through from the backlight but it’s very easy to get past that considering the price and features this tv has. Also for people wondering the back is made of metal, it is a high quality build and easy to wall mount. Also my other favorite feature is the magic remote, see for yourself.

Great purchase! Crystal picture as if the people are in the room with you. Easy to use. I’m not a techno savvy person so need things simple and this is how I fell it is to use. Sleek looking which is important as it is in my living room over my fireplace so a central point. I haven’t typically purchased LG and have purchase mostly Samsung though now understand what the hype is about their products. I would highly recommend to a friend and purchase more products when it’s time. Lastly the price was more competitive than some of the usual suspects and I’m pleased I tried some Something new.

I really like it so far. The webos is easy to use. There is little to no lag loading between apps. The UI is user friendly. Set up didn’t take longer than 10 mins. I like small features like the hdmi switching when you turn on whatever is plugged into an hdmis (soundbar and consoles). I brought this for the ps5 and it looks great.

Its amazing tv perfect for next gen consoles especially if you are on a budget and can't afford the higher end tv's that cost insane amounts of money. Also on that note there is always cons some of viewing angels u can see grey on the screen and its annoying to watch also on that like loading on black screens u can see half of the screen with a white ligh one side but other then that color wise,movie and gaming wise its a great tv if u can get past the annoying few cons.

This TV is seriously the best one you can get for under $1,000.00. I read all the reviews before I purchased it, and I do NOT regret it one bit. This TV checks all the boxes and looks amazing! You get two (2) HDMI 2.1 ports in port 3 & 4 and that’s where you want to plug your Xbox Series X and PS5 in. Trust me you won’t regret it.

Bought this for the new Xbox Series X to take advantage of 4k @ 120fps. In the picture you can see with the proper HDMI 2.1 cable the xbox is capable of doing so. Has great picture as well.

Shipping was excellent , received my tv 2 days after purchase. Picture is good when it comes to bright colors and gaming but lacks in deep blacks in dark scenes. Viewing angles are great . Has support for next gen gaming consoles, 4K at 120hz and vrr. HDR on this tv doesn’t seem bright to makes colors pop like they could but the color accuracy is spot on besides the blacks. You don’t notice it in brighter scenes like you do in a dark scene

I managed to grab this tv for $499. 4k/120 Dolby Vision/Atmos, VRR and ALLM. All the premium features in a budget. You need to play with the settings a lot, but when done right this TV looks awesome. Specially Dolby Vision content is extremely beautiful. The local dimming is bad, always turned off is the best option. I got a Series X hooked to it and games look really good with fast response. But again, the Dolby Vision content from native apps like Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV it’s crazy good on this TV. I’m really satisfied with this purchase.

TV has been working fine, I bought to use with ps5. I always play in a well lit bedroom and picture looks good better than i thought actually. Just don't turn off the lights it doesn't really perform well. I don't think I'll really use all the bells and whistles, to begging with I would sign in to an account (youtube, google, etc) then next time I use it I have to sign in all over again. Don't really care though. Sound is meh, but a cheap sound bar makes it better. I was able to control volume with just Optical fiber cable but power on/off works manually through TV options which is not easy. Buy a sound bar that has ARC. TV has been working great on wifi. I wish apps would update automatically, instead of me having to do it manually. Im just happy TV can turn on and put on rest mode the PS5 automatically. PS5 can turn on TV but last I tested, it didn't turn off tv (all with latest patch). Each input has a picture setting that can be setup individually. Magic remote in great, never used it before now I want one on every TV.

Bought to run my Xbox series X at 4K 120hz which requires HDMI 2.1 which is a newer standard and hard to find in smaller sizes like this (Game Room is not big). Perfect for this at $600

Purchased this tv specifically for my PS5. Absolutely love it!!! 4K, HDR, 120 htz, very compatible with next gen gaming. Also paired with a matching LG soundbar both games and movies are emersive and sound great! Highly recommend this TV.

Well, I've only had it for a couple of hours but for my first 4K TV, I'm digging it. Was looking for something to replace my current off-brandtv and was looking for something that was future proof for gaming around the 120hz refresh rate.

So far great tv had it over a month and definitely on par for 4k and 120 refresh rate.if your a gamer this tv meets all the requirements with out as much price as the others
