Very simple, does exactly what it should. The price on sale is perfect. 4K movies look great. BR movies are upscaled on 4K TV and look better than if played on a BR player. DVDs look good too.

I had been looking for a 4K player at a good price and this one proved to be well worth waiting for. Great quality and easy operation. Goes great with our LG 4K TV!!

I wanted a 4 K blu ray player and this one was reasonable in price and did not disappoint . It was easy to set up and use. The quality of the picture is excellent.

This is a very simple and very nice Blu Ray player. We needed to upgrade ours and it didn’t need all the smart tv features as we already have several options. We needed something to play all our movies, music, and redbox rentals. We had to replace our 11 year old Samsung Blu Ray playing due to a sound setup issue that conflicting with it. Anyway, this LG works great and claims that have HDR 4K but I dont think that’s factual. I think it does 4K Blu Ray and that’s about it- and that’s all we need it for.

Really like this no frills 4K player. Dont have to mess with streaming stuff, just play 4K. Works great with my LG TV.

This is working beautifully with my new Samsung TV. The first thing I watched literally blew me away... Crisp and stunning visuals... This offers everything that I needed to just simply have the option of seeing the full benefit of a 4K UHD picture. I did not need all the bells and whistles offered on some other players that are much more expensive. This one is perfect!

When I began searching for a 4K player last year, I became quickly annoyed and overwhelmed at all of the capabilities they came with. Things like connections to streaming services and LED screens were featured in all of them, upping their price and turning me away. I didn't NEED connection to streaming services - I have smart TVs. And I certainly didn't need an LED screen telling me about the settings I could clearly see on the TV. So when I eventually found this player, my heart soared. A few of the reviews at the time made me nervous, but at this point, I was desperate to find a simple device. I bit back my anxiety and purchased the player on March 28th, 2021. Well, as is the common theme with my reviews, I've been using this LG 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player on and off ever since it arrived. One of the first things I did was watch my favorite childhood film on it, and the clear and colorful picture outright made me cry. It was like stepping back in time to what it must have looked like in the theater so long ago. That was a really good experience for me. If you're looking for a simple player - no frills, no fancy tech, no streaming site connections - this is for you. It's 100% for you.

This 4K player fit our need perfectly. The picture on the TV is amazing and the upscale of non 4K video is great as well. Easy setup and connection to internet.

We have been using this for about 11 months now and are very happy with it. The ease of setup, and the quality have been the high points. Seems a better quality/value than other devices in the same price range.

If you can buy this on sale, I think it is a great value in the 4K HDR Blu-Ray market. It is missing a few features, such as Wi-Fi, but most people will have a smart TV or standalone box like Roku or Apple TV these days, so it is not a big deal. Boot up time is quick overall. The system menu is relatively basic. Overall, it works well and playback is great. I haven’t used it much, but have not noticed any real negatives. I am rating 4 stars because I think at regular price, this is missing too many features that are included in the more expensive players that are typically on sale for around the MSRP of this player.

This player works great! But is only a basic no WiFi or streaming in this player. It plays HDR disc very well and the cost was good to.

It’s pretty standard. For the 99$ I got it for on sale it’s stupendous. Especially for 4K. Does everything it should and and does it well!

This is an excellent 4K Blu-ray player. Fantastic picture and you cannot beat the price. Easy to set up and easy to use. I'vebowned all of the big name 4K Blu-ray players and this by far is one of the best. Highly recommended.

A month owned this well , maybe for the price you get satisfaction on this , first the menu I believe I bought a generic design in menu , you can’t recognize it it can play 4 k and since from the start you get Average player . I experienced a lot of skips already hopefully because of the blue ray im 6 disc 2 skips so giving one more skips then I’ll dissect this if it’ll continue . Since I trust LG I’ll be considerate the looks elegant the picture it’s nice sounds good

This DVD player works well, and looks streamlined so we enjoy it. The complaint lies in that it's LG, so if you're trying to make this your primary streaming device then it will be subject to LG limitations (no HBO Now, no phone/computer mirroring etc). Our flaw was that we got this to match the LG TV and so we had to buy a 3rd device to stream apps in order to increase functionality outside what LG has contracted. Something to think about. I would have rather purchased a "dumb" dvd player and saved the money tbh.

I got this model specifically to reduce the number of remotes I need. That didn't work as planned as the compatibility with my LG OLED remote is quite limited. In order to watch DVDs I still need to use one remote to turn things on and control volume, then the other remote to do anything more complicated than play/pause the DVD. The player itself is quite nice. Good picture, decent features, very easy to hook up and use. But the lack of remote compatibility with another current-generation LG product is frustrating.

Got this player at a good price. Great 4k player. No issues with any 4k disks so far. The picture is super clear and crisp. Setup was easy and there have been no problems with this 4k blu ray player.
