this is my 2nd purchase of LG washers this year- I needed a large washer for bulky blankets & sheets. After lots of research, I got the 5.7. I've been using that model for 6 months & it handles everything ! When I needed another washer for a 2nd home, I quickly bought the 5.0. The new top load is great, also user friendly. The only con I've found is depth of tub. If you have small load, it's sometime difficult to reach bottom to retrieve items. I would recommend both washers to anyone

Just got our LG washer and love it so far. Uses very little detergent and water to wash cloths, which is great as we are on a septic system. Also spins the clothes very dry so drying is easier and more energy efficient.

This unit was very easy to use after the installation was complete. We have really enjoyed the washer machine & look forward to washing more clothes. The unit is mush quieter than our old unit that we had for 20+ years. The tub is so large that we can add twice as many clothes to wash than our old unit would wash.

We have a large family including 3 teens, a baby, grandparent and busy parents. My husband works around grease oil all day and frequently comes home covered in it. I'm extremely surprised that all of our clothes come out remarkably clean without an agitator, but they do! If you want clean clothes without the maintenance of a front load washer, then I recommend this washer for your family.

I have always had a hard time keeping up with laundry with six people in our family...not anymore! This washer is huge! And I actually want to do laundry now! Plus it calculates the load size and adjusts the washing cycle accordingly. Love it!

First time buying an LG washer and so far it has been great. I do have an LG dryer and bought it long before this washer. This has been a better working product than the last 2 i have bought and i have giving up on those name brands. This machine is very quite compared to the last 2 i had and quite enough where i do not have to shut the laundry room door so i can hear the tv. I hope it will last me at least 5 years because all the others have not.

We've had the washer for a week and so far so good. LOVE how much you can fit in it. However, Best Buy's ramshackle installation left us with a hose spouting water all over my laundry room the first time I washed a load. Zip ties to attach the hose from the washer to the drain in the wall? Really? Thankfully, my husband was able to fix their shoddy work and now everything works fine. We plan on purchasing the matching dryer in the next month, however it will NOT be from Best Buy.

After a ton of research ( I'm OCD-esc ) I went with this model. Could not be more perfect. My family members have the same one. LG is the way to go for washer/dryer and refrigerator. If your on the fence and between brands and models this is the one. Questions welcomed

I was stuck in the stone age with my last washer and upgraded to this amazing washing machine. It's smart, sparkly and beautiful next to it's dryer counterpart. I love all the features on this machine and look forward to LOTS OF WASHING! The only thing is I'm 5'5" and I can't reach the bottom of the washer to grab socks, etc. that are flat against the bottom. I have to put half my body in ..... if only my arms could stretch a few inches I'd be good! I might just get one of those claw grabber things to have handy for the stuff at the bottom. But I'd NEVER trade this for a front load washer as everyone I know that has one has smelly clothes/house because they don't clean it properly. I'm low maintenance so I know that was not an option for me (all that extra cleaning) which is why I insisted on a top load washer. I bought the dryer too - and I love it just as much! Can't go wrong with LG!
