This came from Best Buy Outlet as a replacement for a different model (LG 4500) that had issues. I've had this for a couple of weeks and have run it through most of the cycles. It's quiet, clothes are clean, it's very easy to use, and I love the way it communicates with the dryer. Also, I like the app so I can control washer remotely (and in particular I can tell how much time is left on the cycle--handy because I live in a four-story home and can't always hear the cycle end beep). Love the door and how it stays open just slightly to vent the drum (instead of having to stay wide open as my previous machine required).

So far this washer is meeting all expectations. It is very efficient and easy to operate. The clothes seem to come out clean and the washer is pretty quiet.

It's easy to use, has an exceptional number of choices to get exactly the wash cycle you want. It does a great job. And it's quiet.

Exactly what I expect from LG! I’m on my third washer with them. The new washer is quiet and everything comes out smelling fresh n clean n almost dry already! I haven’t had a chance to try a large comforter or king size yet but I’m hoping the extra space from 4.5-5.5 will help! I love getting notified when loads finishes n the reminders so you can keep up with maintenance- I wash everyday n I love this washer! Buy it n you won’t regret it!

A replacement for my older model same machine that started failing after 9 years. Lots of nice different wash options and love that there is a delay start option. However a $1,000 washer doesn’t have a light inside?? Wish I’d noticed that before I purchased it. Also, I preferred the older model’s square door. The round looks nice but is more difficult to load and you can’t hang items (like a damp rug or sweater) over the door to dry. Too bad they can’t build these machines to last longer.

The washer is so quiet. If is very user friendly. My white clothes are brighter. I like the WiFi app - I can start my load even if I’m not home.

It’s worth the backlog wait. This is an excellent dryer. Has just about every option you could want and dries beautifully. It too almost 5 weeks to receive, but I could not be happier with its performance. It’s extra large capacity allows easy drying of large blankets, etc. it’s deeper than normal dryers, but not any wider. I also like the LG App - the ability to receive notifications and to also remotely control.

Absolutely love my new washer. The “turbo” mode makes the clothes much more dry than our old model, so less time drying and less “wear and tear” on the dryer. Also like that it send you a text when it’s done so you don’t forget your wash and find it the next day, smelling not so fresh... I love the speed was function for an emergency load or lightly soiled items. So many options that I haven’t used them all yet.

This machine was purchased to replace an expiring Whirlpool. The LG works great, has more capacity, and is very quiet! So far, very happy with this purchase! High ratings on Consumer Reports are well deserved! The only real adjustment I’ve had to make is that this washer is not designed to work with liquid detergent and powder additives in the same load - you need to use liquid with liquid, or powder with powder, because it goes together in the same dispenser. Not an issue for me, but could be for others and not spelled out in the product description.

Love the capacity this has. It tackles a thick, winter, queen size comforter with room to spare. That is something none of my old washers could handle. It is possibly the quietest operating washing machine I have been around. Some loads of laundry come out almost dry it spins so well. On the down side, It has more bells and wistles than I will ever need. The one thing i am not crazy about is the dark screen menu and the use of a light that shines on the selected cycle, A simple pointer would work.

The washing machine has many features which remain to be tested. It has performed well in getting clothes clean using alternative cleaning products. Quieter than our older washer, which is a plus. We purchased on the weekend and had it installed mid-week. There have been no issues with the washer thus far.

This replaced a new LG machine that I left in my old house because I was super impressed with the brand. This machine works great, and items are all coming out really clean and spun well. I'm yet to use the Smart features. I purchased the larger 5.0Cu.Ft for washing my own bedding with ease and this machine has that capacity. I would have given five stars but it doesn't have an internal light - poor design oversight! My last machine that was a lower model had a light which I loved.
