Sounds fantastic for a sound bar. Once I got the rear speakers... that really tied it together.

The soundbar is powerful but the bass is not. Purchased the rear speakers to make it 7.1.2 system. You need to purchase the rear speakers due to the lack of the surround sound. Every so often I would have a drop off in the rear speakers which made it a little annoying. I returned the system and purchased Nakamichi Soundwafe 7.1 Pro DXS-X. Nakamichi is releasing an Dolby Atmos firmware update in June 2019 which will make the system 7.1.4. For $649.99, I said sure why not. The system has powerful bass and amazing surround sound. It also comes with the rear speakers.

We bought with tv and it was easy set up and gives great sound. Great addition to the tv.

The speakers sound great, the only issue I have is that I can’t control the center speakers... apparently IOS has yet to receive this update so I can’t get the proper firmware on the device

I am writing this as a basic user, not a surround sound guru. I purchased this sound bar in August 2018 in a bundle with the LG UBK90 4K player and LG 65" Class OLED C8PUA Series. This sound bar has been nothing short of perfection for me. I use it while watching movies and when I want to listen to music (Spotify, YouTube, etc). This sound bar has changed my movie watching experience at home, in a great way. I first tried the sound bar out on an older movie that was released on 4K. I put in the original Independence Day (4K disc) and was blow away by the audio. When the aliens blew up the buildings I was able to feel the sound in my chest and then was immediately immersed in the ball of fire as the sound rushed past my head. As simple of an example as that was, this sound bar has continued to impress my family, friends, and I throughout countless 4K movie experiences. I highly recommend this sound bar.

I was looking for a decent sound bar to pair with my 75” SONY Bravia and with the wife’s failing hearing we needed a sound boost WELL after install DVDs regular tv programs and sports infused us into the entertainment environment enveloping us in sound Brandon the sales rep in Waynesville NC recommended this unit I was reluctant initially but THANKS BRANDON well worth the money

The soundbar itself I am very happy with. The soundbar seems to cut in and out when it wants to though which is very irritating. It is during standard television viewing. If I am laying YouTube or watching a movie the sound is great so i am not 100% what causes it. I also bought the satellite speaker set to use and they seem to cut whenever the subwoofer does. If it wasn't for that issue I would rate it 5 star as the sound quality is fantastic when everything is connected.

I got it for a great deal so I’m a bit biased. I like the functionality and it fills sound in a big room. Downside is it is big and takes up a lot of space.

Sounds pretty awesome! No set up required. Simply plug in & play. Bass is pretty normal I’m still waiting for the out of this sound Dolby Atmos sound though.

This sound bar is really powerful. Great sound and the bass is very very punchy!! Your neighbors might be upset so be mindful. Setup is a breeze. I love it so much.

This soundbar is fantastic! It creates a truly enveloping sound experience, and the speakers in the top bounce the sound off the ceiling so it hits behind you. It creates a great Theater like experience without having to hang speakers all over the place. I also like that the subwoofer is a separate wireless unit, so you can place it anywhere in the room

got this at $579.00 wanted the sonos but settled for this. it has 2 hdmi inputs so fit the bill. not a bad sound bar by no means. i would buy again.

There's better. But nothing beats this soundbar when playing ATMOS content. Totally killer. Music though? Not so much.

I was really skeptical about purchasing this sound bar as I had other sounds bars that weren’t great but weren’t this expensive. However, this bar is extremely good. The sound quality is amazing. You will feel like you are in the movie theaters. To enhance the volume we added the extra speakers and the whole combination is the best.

Finally, the sound bar from LG that I can confidently pair up with my C7 OLED. This thing is a monster. I paired it up with the rear speakers for a truly glorious 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup. Best sound bar I've ever owned.

Amazing sound quality from this bar! I replaced an older Sony 1000w 5.1 system and this blows it out of the water!!! The 2 upfacing speakers create great surround sound. It’s very nice to have only a sound bar that can sound this good. I liked the sound in the store with the demo. But it works so much better at home!

Some technical issues that prevents it from being a 5 star product however, it sounds amazing surpassing other products displayed at Best Buy.

I previously owned the SK8y and was not too impressed. Sure, the sound was okay and if it fits your budget then that’s the way to go. The sound is still crisp and is reasonably priced. However, if you can get a great deal through bundling with the SK10 you won’t be disappointed. Having had this soundbar for a few days now, I can notice significant differences between the SK8 and SK10. Most notable being the bass, more enveloping surround, and more control over settings. If you’re going to buy this soundbar, I think you’ll be absolutely happy. Keep in mind that the soundbar length is as wide as a 65” TV. I have mine paired with a 65” OLED C8. Pros: Deeper bass, crisp dialogue, Atmos, ease of use, 4K pass through, 5.1.2 Cons: Size is huge
