Beautiful Washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this washer and they installed it and I am very pleased with it. My previous washer was very old and stopped drawing the water out of the clothes and I had to run the spin cycle over and over and over for just one load. I appreciate the high quality of this new washer as I have done several loads and am very pleased with how well it washed the clothes. The machine lights up when you are loading clothes into it and that makes it very nice to see more clearly what I am doing. I also like that it has a lot of compartments for detergent, pre-treat, etc. I like that it is front loading as I think this will clean better. I like all of the different cycles. The only issues are minor: the chime notifying that the cycle is done isn't very loud and the directions were a little complicated. It also is very attractive looking and modern. I would also recommend getting the pedestal if you have a bad back and neck like me as it makes it so easy to load the clothes into it. The opening to the washer is much higher up now that it has something raising it up. I can also store items in the drawer of the pedestal.

Worth buying
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking around for a washing machine because my old one broke down and I was unable to fix it. I looked I online and this washer caught my eye. I know it's pricey but its worth every penny. It hold really large loads and makes no noise. Really, no noise. It's really high tech with all the cycles; but anybody can use it. It saves water and energy. Its great. I would definitely recommended. Now I just need to save money to buy the matching dryer. If you are thinking about buying this product, just do it. You will not regret it.

This washer makes a tedious task pleasant
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The washer has a large capacity, and it gets the contents very clean. I'm impressed with the operation, as it is not particularly loud. As with most low water use washers, it takes a long time to finish your wash, but is so good, it's worth interrupting the process to go find something else to do while waiting.

Awesome Washing Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this washer for about 3 months and couldn't be happier. It is huge and can wash a king size comforter load easily or a very large, very thick sleeping bag with no problem. Everything gets evenly cleaned and water is evenly distributed through the wash. The spin cycle gets quite a bit of the water out so the dryer doesn't work as hard and less dry time. The wash cycles can sometimes take a bit longer than my old machine but the load size is considerably larger and the quality of clean is far superior. This washer is very quiet, the only thing I can sometimes hear is the spin cycle which sounds like a muted version of a jet taking off.....kind of funny but not disturbingly loud. My kids can still take naps while the washer is going and the laundry room is accross the hall from their rooms. Most of the pre-set programs are still changeable (like water temp, etc.) which is nice. This washer uses way less detergent, bleach and softner than my old machine and I still get better results, talk about high effeciency!!! This my first LG purchase and I am quite pleased with the quality of the machine. I hope to still say the same for years to come.

Wonderful machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We finally have clean clothes! After less than 3 years with a Kenmore High Efficiency top loader that wasn't working properly and then broke, all of our whites were slowly turning very dingy, we bought this LG and were amazed when it took only 1 wash in the 'Bright Whites' setting and our towels and clothes looked like new again. It was almost twice the cost of the Kenmore but totally worth it. I love doing laundry now. So many settings and options if you want hotter water or faster spinning, etc. After our Kenmore nightmare, and our first 'high efficiency' machine, we were very wary about buying another HE. Of course nowadays there's no other option. The clothes are truly clean and smell great. It's fun to watch it work too. With the Kenmore top loader the lid would lock and I could never be sure if the machine was actually agitating the clothes or not (it wasn't). After hours of research we decided front loaders cleaned better and this LG was a highly rated brand by consumer reports. Very small negatives: It is larger than our old one so keep any space restrictions in mind. As recommended, we do keep the door open when not in use so any residual moisture can dry out. We've always done this with our washers but it's more in the way with a front loader.

Great! Almost perfect but a couple of annoyances
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great machine! Does everything you can imagine regarding laundry. Between this and the matching dryer, saving a bunch on dry-cleaning. Gets really hard stains out. Love the steam features. Handles huge loads and small ones too. HIGHLY recommended! Nits below are FYI and aren't big enough to deter purchase. Nit-pick annoyances: 1) Much of the control panel lights up, but not the sub-options buttons. They are black on brown behind tinted screen. Very hard to see unless you kneel down in front of the machine. 2) The machine opens its water valves VERY fast and closes them VERY, VERY fast (and very often). Was getting bad water-hammer effect in my pipes until I installed an pair of shock arrestors directly to the back of the machine (supplementing the ones near the feed lines that worked fine alone before). Only $10 bucks each at Home Depot and easy to install, but should have been included. 3) Machine is very tenacious when trying to level out an unbalanced load before spin... actually too tenacious. Occasionally it just can't do it (completely understandable) but tries for far too long before giving up and sending a "help" tone. Extends load time when human assistance only takes a minute.

Love this washer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After our 15-year old front loader finally died, we decided to upgrade to a bigger and better machine. This washer is easy to use and cleans the clothes well. It also holds a ton of clothes, so our family of 6 does less loads per week than we used to.

Wow!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a practitioner of massage and facial services, I do a lot of laundry. So I was looking for something that has a really large capacity. This LG is the largest on the market. I also was looking for something that would clean my white towels and sheets while removing any hint of oil because the oil can go rancid with age and affect the odor of my linens. The sanitary cycle with steam fully addresses this. But what strikess me most about this machine is that it removed mildew stains from an old coverlet that was damaged years ago when my apartment flooded while I was away. I had washed this coverlet many times and was dismayed by the stains as it was hand made by my grandmother. It never came clean. That is until I used my new LG. Now I have a family heirloom.that I can happily display and hand down to my family. Thank you so much LG!

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a beautiful washer (white). Very large capacity with many cycles to choose from. Has Turbo wash function to wash with cold water on warm water items. Clothes come out dryer so take less time to dry. Only negative I can think of is clothes tend to be scrunched up because spin is very powerful. If you don't have the new large capacity dryer, the large wash loads take longer to dry or you need to split loads, which defeats the whole purpose of the large capacity. Very quiet.

Finally a front load that doesn't smell!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new steam washer and steam dryer. Clothes are washed fast, come out clean, towels don't smell. I am totally impressed with LG and hope I stay that way. We've gone through a front loader, got rid of it (clothes smelled), top loader, got rid of it (twisted clothes. Finally tried LG and am thrilled with the price $999 and its superb performance. Clothes are done in record time, saves on water. Can't say enough great things about this washer.

Love my mega machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I went to Best Buy, I was planning to buy much smaller machine. Then I saw this beauty and I had to have it. I am not sorry. I now can do my laundry in half the number of loads. The machine is quiet and does what I need it to do.

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does great. Seems to make clothes cleaner than the average washer. The buttons and options aren't that intuitive. I find myself pushing buttons that won't work with that specific wash cycle. Steam option works great if you have time to wait 2 hrs. for the load to finish. Reading the manual is a must. The bleach cup where you put the liquid in is a little difficult to reach without a small measure cup or something when installed into a closet type laundry room. The washer seems to retain moisture days after use and never seems to air dry which logically can maybe point to potential for mold to grow especially around the door seal. Uses the perfect amount of water to wash instead of extra or not enough. Has a bright whites option but the regular option puts colors automatically on warm water. Should have options for bright colors without manual input. Other than that it works better than any washer I've ever used. The machine pair can decrease time washing clothes if if you have large quantities but for two or three smaller loads it seems to take longer than it should. 40 mins by default for a small load is too long. They should have quicker wash times for smaller loads.

Best Washer Ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer is great! It's a mega capacity so we can wash our comforter with no problem! I love the multiple settings for every type of wash we do. Our loads are faster and the fact that it's energy efficient it doesn't use a ton of water like my 10 year old washer! The color is great and it was so easy to install. Best purchase! Wish i'd bought this 10 years ago!!

Great Washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great washer, Great size, Quite, And with so many settings! All the loads gets quickly and efficiently. only down side is that when you are done with using it, you have to keep the door open so the moisture evaporates or it will build up mold because the seal is go great. other that remembering that great washer.
