Don't buy this machine. It doesn't add enough water so nothing gets cleaned. I have tried many many different ways to get the clothes, towels, blanket to be cleaned but it is not working because the machine doesn't add enough water. I have tried to wash the clothes at heavy setting with multiples extra rinses but it is not working. After, adding the clothes, it will take 30 min to spin around to add water but it still doesn't add enough water. It is taking a long time to run a cycle. Also, even this machines is at big capacity but it keeps getting out of balance when I tried to wash a IKEA light weight king comforter. I got this from Home Depot but Home Depot refused to help me because they said that it is not their responsibility. LG refused to take it back and they have been giving me a run around. It has been 8 months of night mare trying to deal with LG. I am still getting to nowhere. I am calling them again today. By the way, I am having same issue with LG dish washer. The LG dish washer doesn't add enough water so the dishes don't get cleaned either. Again, I tried many different ways to wash but it is not working because the dishes are not clean. After we finished remodeling the house, we decided to get brand new appliances. It was LG that we settled on but we are having such night mare now dealing with this.

Quiet, have handwash option too. Love it worth $$$

14 months old and has a water leaking out front door. Best buy will not help with this. I am not happy with best buy's appliance center.

This is my first steam washer. I have a husband who works on cars and gets greasy and smelly! The washer is great for stain removel and also gets out the smells. I love this washer!!!!

LoL, by far this is the best washer we have ever had.

We bought these wonderful machines with the pedestals and it is a great experience. My wife and I loaded the washer with a huge load and I was surprised how clean they were. Very happy we purchased!

It seems to measure the size of the load and the clothes are always adjusts itself.

We purchased this washer May 2014 and only 14 months into it, in the middle of a load, it shut down - FOR GOOD! And we are out of warranty needing to replace the main board to the tune of $500. LG, 14 months?Really???

I like the size of my dryer because you can dry BIG items.

We bought the washer and the dryer and couldn't be more happy with our choice.

Make sure to get the shipping bolts that come with the machine! The guys that came out and installed the machine were very thorough. They handed me a screwdriver package and told me not to misplace the package. They also did a wonderful job setting up the machine. When I went to move 3 months later, I noticed the guys did not leave me the shipping bolts. I called the Newport News store, after checking with a manager, I was told that they would have to order the bolts for me (which would be at leat $35.00.) Those were my bolts to begin with. There is a bunch of bolts in the back. They did not care that we spent over $1,600.00 on a washer machine and have been loyal customers of Best Buy in the past. Never again. We closed our account that day. You must have shipping bolts or you will ruin the drum if you move the washer.

I have had the washer five days, in the beginning cycle it clunks so loud. When I called Best Buy they transferred me to LG, made 3 phone calls each person telling me something different. First person saying I needed a part from Home Depot for my water pressure, called the husband already have that, second person (this one was a bit irritating) wanted me to disconnect water supply to see if it still made noise and if it didn't it was the pipes in my house and he wouldn't send a repair person. Well since the problem is the valve and there is no water going through it there wouldn't be any noise. By the third person they gave me some numbers of a local repair person. Sounds like it is a faulty valve, the noise only happens in the beginning of the cycle when it is wetting the clothes. Keeping my fingers crossed that the repair person can fix it otherwise it is going back, for the money the clunking isn't worth it.

The washer has a control panel for adjusting the water temperature, spin cycle speed and rinse cycle. The problem is the control buttons do not light up. I can not read the button labels unless I have a bright flashlight shining directly on them. I called LG and they admitted this is how the product was designed and that they have received numorous complaints. They offer no solution or remedy. I was basically told that I am stuck with their poorly designed product. No more LG products for me!!
