Absolutely Excellent and QUIET!!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not say enough good things about it AND it has LED lighting on the inside of the tub while running!!! So cool! It is also the quietest washer. My laundry room is so near the family room and Master that my old top of the line Samsung's were very very loud. You did not need any other signal. The LG's you can not even hear running even with the door open...Amazing

Turbowash feature is awesome.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Turbo wash reduces laundry time dramatically and clothes come out clean. Washer is also super quiet except to when water is being added. Great so far!

Great so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have only had it for about three weeks now, but my wife loves it. Due to its extra large size she does half the amount of loads as our old one. It doesn't use much water and is quite. It spins so fast the clothes come out almost dry. We are very happy with our purchase.

Will not last, poorly built
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a top of the line LG washer and dryer on May 30, 2009. I did my homework and checked the reviews and consumer websites. All said good things and the washer was rated at the top of sites. I paid almost $1000 each and also purchased an extended warranty for 5 years. Approximately 16 months after my purchase the control panel on the washer went out. This was fixed under warranty. Now a little over 6 years later and the bearings on the washer are out. The service tech told me that this was a "common problem" and gave me an estimate of $599.05. I called another repair service and they told me that they "see this ( bearings going bad) all of the time". They gave me an estimate of $701.25! Only a 6 1/2 year old $1000 dollar washer and it will cost almost as much as a new one to repair it! I called LG and she said that she was "sorry but it is out of warranty". i asked her about the fact that 2 different service companies reported that the bearings going out was common problem and she still just said "sorry". I live by myself and only wash three loads of laundry every week (actually 1/2 loads because this is a high capacity washer). My girlfriend washed a comforter in it once about a year or so ago (a queen and it was by itself). Other than that the washer has never had heavy or bulky items in it. Only those three 1/2 loads of clothes a week and the bearings are out! I would consider this VERY LIGHT USE. The washer actually still looks like new (see picture...the little rubber seal on top I was told is from the bearings). Before this I had a Sears washer that I paid about $400 for and it lasted 19 years! The one before that I bought second hand (for less than $200) and it was 22 years old when it finally gave out. My $1000 LG...6 1/2 years...unbelievable! What a piece of junk! For the reasons above, I would NEVER recommend an LG washer to anyone! Don't believe me, call your local service company and ask about the bearings. I would have given it a zero on stars, but that was not available.

Great washer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife and I choose this LG washer for our laundry room update. It's a great machine. This is our second LG front-loader and we're very impressed by the new features and improvements over the older model. We also love the capacity -- washed our king-size comforter, sleeping bags, and other large items without problem. It's also very gentle on delicate item. Highly recommend, just make sure you have enough room because it's a big machine, especially with the door open!

Almost perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an owner of my second front-loader machine, I have to say this machine is almost perfect. It is quiet, little to no vibration (and my laundry room is on the 2nd floor), has more than enough settings to fits most people's needs. The only downside I've noticed so far is the instrument panel is not completely illuminated. That is a big mistake on LG's part. Why give people all these settings to choose from if you can't read the panel? My solution is to have a small flashlight hanging in the laundry room.

Whoa! This is huge.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were looking for the largest washer on the home market and I think we found it. The only problem is that it is two inches taller than the dryer, so if you want a perfect match to a dryer, go one size down. We love it though.

Outstanding Washer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace a top load Kenmore Elite washer with a bad motor control board. At the time the LG was the largest residential washer available. We really like the ability of washing queen size comforters. The LED interior tub light is modern and functional. Our only complaint is that when washing large items such as pillows the washer stops running due to out of balance. Other than that it’s outstanding.

Best washer ever.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best washer ever. Looks great, washes great, super quiet and efficient and automatically determines load capacity. Pure cold washing technology is very green and saves energy while providing a thorough cleaning. Steam feature is comforting because it kills germs and bacteria. Really just the best machine I found and the size is great for my cal king comforter sets....unreal.

Great washing machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We do a LOT of laundry (2-4 loads a day). The tub of this machine is huge and has cut my laundry by 1/3. I love the allergy/sanitary function as well as the turbo wash. With the turbo wash, most loads are done in one hour or less. Having owned 2 previous HE machines, this is by far my favorite. Just keep the door propped open when not in use to prevent mold & smelly issues.

Awesome washer and easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this washer. It gets the cloths/items cleaner and gets it done with less loads because it is so large. For the first time in 20 years I don't have to go to a laundromat to do my blankets and comforters. It also spins the close so dry - drying time is less. I recommend getting the risers; especially if you have back problems. It's a long bend over to get everything in and out of the barrel. It's a dream with the risers.

i needed a heavy duty washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need more credit on my account to purchase a large capacity drier, go along with this appliance upgrade that I have now. The washer and microwave are a big improvement for my needs. The dish washer is another great improvement.
