Well, i was surfing online to get a TV in my tight budget, sure i was doing it on Best Buy Website. I have chosen this TV and have been Happy :)

Please excuse my English since it is not my first language. I bought a LG 50’ TV on September 8th and did not open the box until I moved to our new house. I opened the box on September 12th right after I moved in. I installed the TV by mounting it on the wall by following a general instruction. I did not drop the TV or did not do any physical damage on the TV. After the installation, I turned the power of TV on and found out the screen was cracked from inside and it looked the LED panel was damaged. So, I took the TV to South Anchorage Bestbuy store to get a replacement on September 13th, but the store manager to refuse to exchange the TV because he was so sure that I damaged the TV. Basically, he kept telling me that it was my fault so he could not give me new one. He just offered me to get the TV fixed through the Geek Squad which would cost at least $300 or $400. I asked him how could you tell that I have damaged the TV instead it was defective from the manufacturer or damaged during the shipping. He said he could tell easily from his experience. He only worked for the Bestbuy for 5 years and he has probably learned everything about all the products within last 5 years. Wow, what a smart manager he is? I felt so disrespectable and disgraceful by the manager so I just walked out of the store. I just followed the general instruction to install the TV like other people do. Even though the TV was damaged during the installation, who could buy a TV not being afraid of damaging it during installation. If the TV got damaged during the installation with a general instruction, is it totally my fault? Is there any chance of that the TV was fragile or defective during the shipment or from manufacturing? Right after I walked out of the Bestbuy store, I bought another TV at Costco and did the exactly same installation as I did for the LG TV, and the other TV is totally fine and I have been enjoying the TV. I have been a loyal customer of BestBuy and I would still buy some products from Bestbuy in the future. However, I will try to use other online stores or other local stores if I can, and won’t buy anything from the South Anchorage Bestbuy Store since the manager does not want to listen to customers and is not on the customers’ side at all.

Had to get a new tv after I had a home break in and choose this to replays mine. Happy with my choice works great and love the new features.

We are very satisfied with this purchase. Very easy to setup and navigate. This replaced a 10 year old 32" LG which worked flawlessly.

I love my 50' LG HDTV. It was easy to install. And even easier to setup. Worth every penny.

We have (and recently bought) LG TV's but never a smart TV. This one is fine except for problems with the WIFI (telling us that we need the minimum number characters for a password, which is not correct).

My son set up my television for me (being technologically challenged myself). When he was unable to get any sound, he called the LG customer service rep, who made a couple of suggestions, which my son tried with no resolution. The CSR said she was at a loss, so my son said he would try to figure it out on his own, which he finally did. Since having the television set up, I have noticed occasionally a double image, which will "slide" into a single image. Not sure how to correct this!

I have 2 LG tvs and they are both wonderful with good color, clear picture and nice sound quality for what they have.
