Hooked up this TV for my office and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture. Still learning about all of the features, but the only drawback is I wish the on light was brighter. With the cable box off, it's hard to tell if the TV is on or off, Otherwise, I'm very happy with the product. I also intend to use this TV as a presentation TV in my office with my laptop.

When I try to think of something I don't like about this TV, I truly can't. I knew what I wanted and what I was getting and the TV met my expectations for LG quality. Is it a top of the line 4 HDMI, 240 Hz Smart TV, no. But at the Best Buy price I paid and the features I needed, It fills the bill. Had guests for New Year's and they were impressed with the picture quality, as am I.

The television we purchased has been excellent and all that we expected. We came in during the holidays looking at televisions because ours was damaged by direct tv during installation and we were pricing televisions to be replaced by direct tv. The 55 inch LG was on special the night we came in and they were going fast. I could not pass it up and so glad we didnt. Thank You

Bought this for Black Friday and saw some negative reviews that made me nervous, but once I set it up all of that nervousness went away. Great picture, great size, and the sound quality is good enough for me to watch any movie or sporting event. I'm not a gamer so the two HDMI ports aren't an issue. I'm very satisfied with this tv.

Bought this on Holiday Sale- awesome TV for the Price! No problems with jittery background when watching HD TV or movies- was afraid of that with low 120Hz. Notice some resolution issues when watching standard TV (attribute that to 120Hz)- expected when the screen is 55". Sound quality could be better, but is about normal for a LCD. Could use more inputs- only 2 HDMI's.

I purchased this 55" flat screen TV during Black Friday and I got an excellent price. After I got the TV I mounted it over my fireplace and the size was perfect. The picture is great and the set -up menu is easy to navigate and make adjustment. The only drawback I have with the TV is it only has two HDMI ports, but if you can live with that I highly recommend this TV.

Beautiful picture. Got for a great price. Had a little trouble hooking up because there weren't as many spots in the back of the tv to hook up accessories, i.e. surround sound, vcr/dvd combo. No computer hookup in back so have to buy a new cord for that. However, once we go the basics hooked up, nice picture quality.

Though this TV was larger then I planned to purchase the salesman pointed out it was a much better value the the 40" I was looking at. It is a better brand and has proven to have a better picture. It looks great in my living room where I was afraid it would be to large :) I wish I had bought 2 as it was a great value and I would now like on for my basement.

If you are looking for a large screen, (55 inches) T.V. with a great picture (1080 P & 120Hz refresh) at a great price, then this is the T.V. for you. It's simple to set up and great for watching sports, movies, and gaming. Only downside is there are only 2 HDMI connections but at this price point, and for basic T.V., Movie, and Gaming, this is adequate.

Bought this on black friday at a good price. I really liked the picture and how easy it was to set up everything. The only thing is to prolly mount the tv, when I put on stand it does lean forward just a little. The stand doesnt seem all that stable, but for the quality and price, mounting it will do just fine.

I am finally sold on LG. This TV has a spectacular picture with rich colors. I was a little skeptical at first because of the brand and because of the price but I'm a believer now. The sound needs a little extra kick but combining it with a soundbar will do the trick. I would definitely recommend this TV.

Everything about this TV is excellent. I bought the same model that my roommate did 2 years ago. I paid $500 less and mine is much better. I was very impressed with the speaker capability. Only problem I had was BestBuy backed up my delivery date multiple times and it was quite a hassle. They gave me a $25 gift card for my troubles though.

I bought this under the impression that it was 120Hz. I reality it is 60Hz with TruMotion. I am still extremely please with the purchase as it is an excellent TV for the price. The picture quality is wonderful with everything looking sharp and crisp. Even standard definition live TV looks good on it.

Bought this TV online on Black Friday. TV was delivered a week later as scheduled. Ready to go out of the box after I hooked it up to my sound bar. Picture quality is great. It could use more HDMI ports, but I bought it knowing there were only 2, so I cannot hold that against Best Buy or LG, especially with the $500 price tag for a 55" TV!

This TV is much larger than the previous TV I owned. Bigger than I even anticipated. I wouldn't suggest this if you are looking for a TV for a small room. However, if you are looking for something for a mid to large size room this TV is great. The picture and sound are great and it's easy to set up.

I bought this TV as a Christmas gift for my dad. At only $499 (black friday deal), it was a great price for such a large TV. The Tv has very good picture quality and decent sound. The only drawback is it needs more HDMI inputs. It doesn't have any smart TV features, but you can always buy a separate Roku or smart Blu-ray player for that.

I purchased this tv on Thanksgiving. It is a great tv for the price. I have not found any other televisions for $500.00 that match up to the picture quality. The tv has a great sound. The only problem I have is there is only 2 HDMI inputs. But if you can deal with that it definitely a great buy.

The picture quality is not as sharp as my Samsung 55" that has the same characteristics when it comes to pixels, etc. However, I did pay over 3x what I paid for this tv and I got that one calibrated. So, I guess you get what you paid for. This product is a great buy and cost efficient as well.

pretty much everything on the tv exceeded my expectations im very happy on the size quality of the picture and sound the only thing that i dont like is i dosent have the rca jack audio output it only got the audio optical output :( other than that im very much satisfied thanks for this deal :)

I love this television and even though it's a 55" it doesn't take up that much space . The picture quality is great. And the sound ,it wasn't the greatest but once I connected my surround sound Ito it I stayed up watching movies all night and didn't realize It until my alarm to go to work rang
