Save and buy this one first
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a Visio E class around Black Friday sales. Installed it and had to go thru so many settings to get the picture to my liking. But still wasn't there. Amazon app is not compatible so had to return the tv. Purchased the lg and right away the build quality was better. And so was the picture. Small fine tuning for the room but looks spot on especially with ips for the side chair angles. Should of spent the extra 120 and gotten this first. Lesson learned. Great price right now too

Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV when it was on sale. I didn't need a new one but I couldn't resist the price! I am very happy that I bought this TV. The PS4 games look clear and access to the apps is easy. I never wanted a smart TV because they always open up to a menu instead of whichever HDMI port it was on when you turned it off. This one does not do that! We bought an LG soundbar for the TV but you don't have to have one. I personally thought the sound from the tv was fine but that could be because my previous tv was a few years older. Anyway, it is a great TV for the price.

Great UHDTV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the TV for a bit over a month now and it is great. I like that the software is very smooth and responsive. The motion controlled remote is also a great feature that I initially thought was just a novelty. All in all the HDR works well, 4K content looks great and the the built in speakers are quite loud without suffering from distortion during high base output during movies. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to jump into 4K and HDR without a hefty price tag. The only thing I wished when purchasing this TV was that it was more clear if it were a native 120hz display or not. Some charts tell me it is while I'm pretty sure it's an upscalled 60hz. All in all still a good buy!

Beyond Comparison To My Other TV's
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have waited decades for a new TV and this year decided to buy myself a new one, as it is long past due. From a 1988 RCA 32" tube TV to THIS ... is like jumping light years into the future with one small step. Never had I imagined the advancements. Kinda glad I waited, Smart TV with 4K, it's like a new toy just in time for Christmas. Perfect picture, easy setup, excellent color, beautiful sound, and outstanding price!! Excellent value for the money. Thank you LG for making my life easier and Thank you Best Buy !!!!

Great entry level 4ktv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned several LG products and all of them have worked flawless. So I have a lot of confindence in the brand. If you do not have 2000$ like me to spend on a 4k tv. This LG is the perfect one to get. The fact that is had hdr pro and that LG often supports there products through firmware updates was other huge plus. Its a great tv with easy to understand menus and great picture. It works well with the ps4 or ps4 pro. And you will notice the difference if you are upgrading from an 1080p tv set

Great TV for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For full price, this TV would be decent. On sale, this device is fantastic. Sound quality is good, picture is clear and crisp. Darks could be darker if you're a connoisseur, but honestly this TV is everything I wanted and more for a price I could afford. Smart TV hub is easy to navigate and works well. Comes with ~70 "free channels" that replay the same things after 45 minutes, but they're interesting enough for background noise.

Outstanding TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The deal I got on this was incredible, that being said, it was worth far more. I read mostly positive reviews and a few negative about PC connection issues, which I felt was probably refresh rate related at the PC side and sure enough, I was right. For those of you experiencing "lag" you have to poke around a bit (I work in IT) and up the refresh rate to at least 60hz, of course, you need an adequate video card as well with supporting bandwith to do so at 4k (like my GeForce 980). Putting that aside, this TV is incredible. The TrueMotion 120hz is awesome, everything is raised to "True Motion" unless you go into "Game Mode". The internal speakers (though I'm not using them, just tested them) are clear and loud. The WebOS apps are great, they respond well vs counterparts on other manufacturer's TVs and have all the big names (Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc). The definition and color depth are accurate, areas that are very dark you can still see clear while maintaining proper black levels. This TV is a heck of a bargain, I have it hooked to my PC and use the Apps and that's it, and I couldn't be happier. 5 stars!

Best TV by far for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted the Samsung but it was a couple hundred more. This was 2nd choice and its a great tv. I wish the controller was a bit more modernized but its ok. I'm lazy to manually adjust the TV screen, some of the darker scenes in a movie is a bit hard to see clear. Gaming is excellent. Volume is descent. TV is pretty thin. Internet is slow to load but fine to stream once it gets going.

4K is impressive!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this LG to replace an Insignia 46" TV. I was impressed with the Insignia and decided not to retire it. A move to my den brought the LG to the main room. With my upconverting BR and a streaming service that offers 4K content, I couldn't be happier. Sharp, full colors and a host of features made this purchase one of my best from Best Buy.

Great UHD TV for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is worth every penny I paid for it. It's our first HD TV and the picture quality is remarkable. We love it's smart tv capabilities though LG doesn't have many apps--thankfully we use Roku for what we can't use the TV for. Watching UHD programming has minimal lag but can't beat the overall value of this TV. We're glad we chose this over a comparable Samsung because of component inputs and quantity of HDMI inputs.

Freaking great TV!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The resolution is off the charts. Friends and family members who have watched movies on this TV are all astonished at the quality. The smart TV functionality are nice and easy to use. What a great product! The sound quality is even good. Time to go pop some corn, crack a beer, kick my feet back and watch a flick with a high body count!!!

Excellent quality, a bit complex for some
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For me this would be a 5-Star set. The picture quality, sound, and features are great. I give it 4-Stars here because I purchased it for my in-laws who are in their 70s and I now get calls every other day as they get confused using it. It's a complex menu design for people who aren't tech literate. If you are, it's a great set and I'm considering buying a larger model to finally replace my trusty Panasonic plasma.

Is This TV Good Enough?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv the next day right after Black Friday for 499 I researched Samsung, Sony, and other brand tv sets and I have never owned a LG TV so I didnt really know what to expect but after owning it for a little while now I can honestly say that it is a nice balance between price and quality. To keep this set at a lower price point LG ommited some of the features that are on some of their ofter TV sets such as their ultra luminance feature, smart remote, and number of ports. As a trade off they include a hdr option, slim almost bezel less design, tv tuner, full web browser, great 4k picture quality, quick interface/os and good sound from the speakers once some fine tuning is done in the settings menu. The only thing that I dislike about this tv is the backlighting as it is not bright enough in my opinion to make scenes vivid and pop, I am use to full array led backlighting on tv sets and this one is edge-lit so it's limited in this area. If I had to I would buy this tv again for the quality, price, and performance Lg has other tv manufacturers beat. Also bought a Xbox One S and gameplay is amazing on it just make sure your settings are right.

Great all-around TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for a workout space expecting a bare bones TV b/c of the price. I was pleasantly surprised to find all of the features including Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube apps installed so we do not need any additional streaming devices in this space. Picture is very good and setup/navigation is incredibly intuitive.

Great 4KTV for general consumers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to fit on top of my entertainment center and the width and weight were perfect. The unit is light enough for a single person to move around, and it's extremely sturdy. Also works great with the LG 2.1 soundbar, which fits neatly between the TV stands, and the subwoofer I put behind the TV for realistic sound. The picture quality is as good as expected, with no noticeable ghosting, and even on a black screen there is practically no light beed. I set it to Game Mode on all HDMI ports to eliminate the enhancements, and for the most accurate picture, as well as the quickest response time. Works great with cable boxes and game consoles, and I've used it with my Macbook and PC just fine in 4K mode. It's preferable to use HDMI port 1, which has the highest input specifications, if you are connecting a PC or notebook to it. Use the other ports for cable boxes, satellite, and multimedia presentations. And while the default sound with the TV is perfectly acceptable, I recommend getting a soundbar for better quality, higher volume, and greater acoustic range.

Great TV, but slow software
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this TV--great quality, especially for the price! It's really nice to have the user manual stored on the TV for reference, and I like the LG Channel Plus (though the channels don't update content very often and you end up looping through all the same videos after about an hour or two). Overall, the display if great (more crisp color would be nice, but it does the job quite well). There are only a couple of minor downfalls with the TV... 1) The display settings are complicated and instructions in the manual are a bit convoluted, so it's difficult to figure out exactly which settings I should be using with different input sources and types of programs. Sometimes, when I hook up my laptop with 4k resolution to my TV the appearance of my desktop has pixels missing or looks almost like there is noise in the image. 2) The software on the TV is slow and sometimes really frustrating--like when trying to open/download from the app store or open other apps. 3) The Intel WiDi (wireless device connectivity mechanism installed in the TV that allows you to connect to laptops, etc.) has been abandoned by Intel. They are no longer monitoring/updating/providing support for WiDi. So, if you like wirelessly connecting it may not be possible using the built-in method too much longer. All-in-all, great value for the price!

Great Product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reviews were decent, which encouraged me to purchase. I must say, we have been pleased with the overall picture quality as well as its ease of use. The various input features are easily synced to various devices (cell phones inclued) in our home which makes steaming audio/video files a breeze.

Great picture and size for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the picture quality and sound. I was able to purchase it on sale which was a better price than buying a 40" or 50". I'm able to use Netflix and pandora via my wifi connection. Only complaint is that I fine the control a bit small and flimsy for a tv of this brand and price.

Great mid range TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I compared this to Samsung and Vizio in the same $400-700 price range, and this was hands down the winner. The TV has a great picture and is very responsive. I wish it came with the wand remote like some of the higher end LGs, but a universal remote will replace that soon anyway.
