If this TV is going in a room with a lot of natural light, you will NOT be disappointed in its performance. When you have it placed where you want it, and you walk around noticing the glares, you'll grumble and be upset, but once you sit down, the glares disappear! It is fantastic! We had a flat screen previously, it didn't matter where you sat, there was a glare. We put this one in the exact same location, no glares! Did I mention the UI? It is a breeze to set up and use once you connect to your Wi-Fi. It goes without saying that this unit will perform in a dark room as well.

This is my 3rd LG TV and again I am impressed with the quality. The picture is as good as any TV I have ever seen, and I did do some comparing at Best Buy and elsewhere. The 3D effects are as crisp and clear as ever (for LG) and the up-scaling is truly remarkable: check out an old episode of "Poirot" on Netflix, for example. Easy to use, almost intuitive controls, but then I am used to the "magic remote." I would prefer a printed manual, but that is a thing of the past. Online manual is relatively easy to navigate and to obtain information.

We bought this TV about a month ago but just got it hung because we were in the process of turning our wall into a rock wall & needed to finish that before hanging the TV. The TV is beautiful. It was very easy to hang on the wall, but be sure to have 2 people to move it or hang it. Still haven't learned everything about this TV but it was easy to connect to the cable and it pretty much set itself up. Love the way you can see the picture from any angle. It's only been 2 days, but we are very pleased and we would recommend this product.

The picture is absolutely beautiful on this tv. Black levels are perfect black, colors just pop off of the screen, and I love the thin bezels on the set. What I'm not thrilled about is the motion handling of the tv. It may be that I'm coming from a plasma, but the way this handles motion when the camera pans during movies or following a person who is jogging with their head moving rapidly up and down on the screen, well it just doesn't compare with the plasmas. There is the option to turn on frame interpolation which does take care of all motion issues, but you then have to live with the soap opera effect. With that said, I have been getting used to the slight judder more and more and it doesn't outweigh the overall picture quality that only OLED can provide. For reference, I also purchased the ks8000 samsung for comparison and ended up keeping this tv. The Sammy was great, as long as you sit directly in front of it. Any angle whatsoever and the colors washed out.

I bought this tv after standing in front of the wall of displays and I went with this one because of the blacks are actually black. I have a ps4 pro and it looks amazing with games that take full advantage of the hdr and 4K resolution. My only issue which is sometimes the video won't show up. Sony blames lg but lg blames Sony. So I don't know when that will be fixed. I haven't had a reason to not enjoy the tv. I was able to download an lg app on my iPhone and played back the 4K videos I had recorded. Looked good.

When I first set up tv I was concerned about the picture quality but within less than a week and doing a little research online and tweaking the settings I couldn't be happier with the picture quality. It is stunning! The only thing I would change is the perimeter of the screen.....I would rather it be black than silver. Even though it is a very thin outline, the silver is a little distracting where a black outline would disappear. Love the curved screen....picture looks perfect from very wide angle.

This TV has a GREAT picture in 4K if you have the correct Blu Ray player. As of this review, the only one BB sells that will give true 2160 is the Samsung BluRay which is about $300.00 if not on sale. Also, if you run your TV through an AV Reciever, plan on buying a new one unless you are sure yours is 4K ready. Mine said it was, but it was not 4k HDR ready. So there was another $500 for a new AVR (and if possible, get one with upscaling. Some say it makes no difference, but I truly believe it does)

This is a great find I love 3d movies and now I have them in my home. Great picture clear and colorful,no real motion loss.

All I can say is after much debate on price, I pulled the trigger after Black Friday sale and couldn't be happier with what I think was the best deal for a 55 inch OLED TV. The LG 55 inch curved OLED is spectacular in its viewing experience and all content is upscaled and beautiful. The HDR is worth the extra money and I've never seen such color before. We are completely satisfied with the purchase and Best Buy was on top of the game in making it a reality. You will not be disappointed.

The best on the market in our opinion. We did our research about each product and viewed many others in stores prior to the purchase. We've had various brands starting with the original Sony Bravia LCD to a Pioneer Plasma to a Samsung LED to a LG 3D LED - all in 1080p. Then we saw this in 4K. Sold. The intense color and definition are incredibly good. We went curved to help viewing in our seating arrangement and deflect light from the windows. Very thin and lightweight. Easy to set up.

Great sized tv for gaming, movies or screen mirroring. Love the passive 3d for gaming and the curved screen doesn't hurt.

Everything about this TV is amazing...The color is so bright, the picture is so clear and the 3D is off the charts!

Excellent picture quality. Blacks are truely black. Oled better than led tv's. I would recommend this tv to all friends.

This TV is probably the best TV on the market for 2017. It's an OLED TV with 4K and 3D. Amazing picture and color.

I can't say I am extremely knowledgeable about all things electronic, but I do try to educate myself on it by reading blogs and reviews and websites. Most items I read had a very high opinion about this tv, due to many factors, including clarity, performance, set up/ease of use, etc. All usually had this (OLED) unit as a top pick, if you could splurge on it. Generally, the price was the sticking point in most of the articles. I would definitely recommend an OLED unit to anybody.

Everyone who's done their homework on these OLEDs knows that they review well. It's just a gorgeous picture. Watch a show like Preacher on it and you will realize you just don't want to watch shows and movies that are visually stunning on anything else. You want to watch them on this TV. As for the 3D...it made me wish I had bought this TV when it first came out. With that said, I'm happy to have gotten it open item for $1399. It's my best buy (pun intended) in a while.

This tv is amazing it takes a little time to set it up right but once you do it is a treat. The colors are amazing and the blacks are breathtaking. The only problem I had is when you first start the tv up it is hard to tell sometimes if the tv is on because the blacks are so black. But I really don't look at that as a negative because that's what this tv was meant to do make unbelievable blacks and life like colors. I had a friend say it was like looking though a window!!!

Went into Best Buy to purchase a new 4K TV and was expecting to leave with a Sony or Samsung. What impressed me most about the OLED TVs when compared to the other brands in the store was how it generates high contrast and the blackest blacks. This is accomplished by having each pixel in an OLED TV lit individually, without the need for a backlight. Its now been 2 weeks since my purchase and I am still impressed every day with this TV and its amazing picture.

I am blown away at the incredible picture quality and ease of operation of this TV. I was first looking at the Samsung SUHD's, until two different people at Best Buy explained the benefits of OLED vs SUHD. Absolutely amazing picture quality and extremely easy to use. I had Geek Squad install the TV and the specialist went through the entire set up very professionally and showed me things that the TV could do that I' sure I would of never realized.

Read a lot of reviews and all are true: this is the best TV ever made so far! We have a curved 55" LG OLED TV; it gives it slightly more depth or 3D like view in plain mode, but the flat version should be fine too. The 3D mode with non-passive glasses has excellent 3D effects--the best we have even seen! We love this TV as an upgrade to our previous Sharp Aquos 3D 60" TV (which had very good 3D also--but not as good as the OLED).
